This tiny museum is by appointment only and the inside was closed when we came but outside there are some displays and the little ones enjoyed climbing the train and examining the mining equipment. Unfortunately, much of it was rusted beyond recognition and there were no interpretive signs.If you are going to the Fire Museum, you could call ahead so you can go inside the mining museum.

Very small. If we had never been to other mining museums then this would have been ok. Guess they did the best they could with what they had.
