Awesome place to hit several pokestops in one go. The park is well maintained and the small depot is a quaint educational experience on how small depots were maintained and their importance to the community.

The Tomball Depot is a great family stop, there are always free events from car shows to the German Festival, free movies on the big screen on the lawn and activities for the kids every second Saturday. Model trains inside the caboose. Clean restroom facilities, splash pad and gazebo that is great for small weddings and also a great place for pictures. Christmas time its decorated with lights and a 26 tall tree.

Cultural outdoors park. Clean, peaceful. Great place to simply relax and recooporate.

I love coming here to think and relax while enjoying the day. The park is small but very clean. Great spot for the kids during those Texas Summer.

Really fun! Loved all of the holiday activities for the whole family. Plus the farmers market was right there also. Only downside is figuring out parking and signs for new people that dont know the drill. Lots of fun!!

Tonights Tomball Square Tree Lighting was exceptional! The lighting was simply beautiful, tree was gorgeous, and the environment was even canine friendly! The carolers in the crowd near the tree were a unique and special treat while near the train there were Wonderful Tomball singing and musician volunteers - THANK YOU ALL for donating your time, skills & love for all to appreciate and enjoy which makes for a memorable and special night! Thank you city of Tomball for putting on such a family friendly event for holiday festivities! Thank you to the Tomball Police for making sure we were safe at all times and thank you to the vendors such as Raising Canes for the treats and Canes Cornhole, Whataburger and any others that were there with your giveaways! Also thanks for the fresh, warm delicious kettle corn with caramel!! Yummy! Had a beautiful evening! I may bring my little Chihuahua mix in her sweater or jacket next year ;) What a great event Tomball, Thanks!

Such a cute little spot; LOVE all the activities they have here for kids. Everything is well organized and clean. There are eateries in walking distance. Feels great to take a walk through time.

Tomball Railroad Depot is awesome. Has lots of railroad memorabilia and a huge working model railroad. Its also right on the freight track and when a real train comes by the volunteers open the door by the track and everyone goes out to watch the freight train go by.

The Christmas Tree lighting with Santa was excellent!! It was well organized, a great atmosphere, and just overall put together very nicely. Another great experience with the family in Tomball.

Just moved to Tomball and took my family out to see the area. Stopped by the railroad depot train station museum. The caretaker, older gentlemen “Dave” Yelled at my 3 year old son twice, extremely rude, we immediately left. My son did not touch anything only attempted to before I stopped him.

Great place for antique shopping, and get a bite to eat. Tomball hosts lots of festivals in this area

This place is great for kids of all ages! I cant wait to take my grandson! It is free they just ask for donations! Totally worth the drive out there!

The kids absolutely love going to the railroad depot. Great little spot to play, make wishes in the wishing well and having ice cream in walking distance.

A great historic place to visit with amazing detail in their model railways.

Went there for the German festival. Carnival type atmosphere with rides for the kids and a wide variety of vendors including food. Crowded but nice atmosphere with good security and friendly people. Enjoyed it other than a quick rain shower and would return to next festival in this area.

Very nice park in Old Town Tomball. My dogs love a midnight walk through all the statues, depot, gazebo, fountains and splash pads. Nice safe park amongst quaint restaurants and Antique Stores. A nice stroll.

This place had a soup and salad restaurant. The food was great. I has spinach enchiladas which was actually different.

Great place with history to back it up. A great community area that hosts lots of local events and has a great small town atmosphere.

Fun place to explore with family. We had a great time lookkng at all things here. Very enjoyable and models they have are amazing and fun. Lots of memorabilia inside to see. Love the old time feel.

I think most would enjoy it. I dont think the splash pad is apart of the railroad Depot, but that was fun too. However, 3 or 4 little kids slipped and banged thier head on the concrete. They really need to make it some sort of softer flooring. Maybe rubber.

A great fun short trip to learn about rail history in Tomball and surrounding areas. Have an amazing Z scale layout for kids, adults and families to enjoy. With an O scale layout in the caboose.

Nice place to spend an evening with family and ice cream . we enjoyed the visit while we were there on vacation.

One of our favorite place to visit (my son and I) and theres couple of comforty restaurants nearby (grilled steak, ice cream shop, Mexican restaurant that won twice [awards], and amazing BBQ joint... Tejas Chocolate+Barbecue).

A great spot for kids of all ages. The model train layout is very easy for small children to view, with lots of special creatures to search for while watching several trains move thru some excellent scenery. Overall the museum is a great way to keep our areas history alive.

Its a cute little park that does old Tomball justice plus theres a couple of neat places to eat at nearby. The park also has a splash pad!

Attended the crawfish festival there the other day, and the park is spacious, historical, and in a nice area. Plenty of room to take your family for picnics or walk with that someone special. Nearby in the park is the historic train station, and a memorial and fountain to the 100 foot oil gusher on the derricks original site.

Pretty neat, functioning, little model train display. They have a Z scale in the main depot. Lots of detail and things to look for. Working, Lionel train display in the caboose. Again lots of f detail and functional buildings to look at. Limited but interesting history items in the main depot. They are in the process of beginning construction of a rail museum with rail cars inn the back side of their property. Definitely worth the trip for any rail enthusiast. While we were there we were told that they are now working with the Rosenberg Museum in the hopes of improving both the Tomball and Rosenberg locations!

A nice little park that maintains the small town feel of Tomball. Its close to several antique shops and a cute ice cream parlor. It also has a train museum and a splash pad that kids will love. As nice as it is many of the events that are held here are too big and crowded for the venue.

As one of the Founding Families to bring back, rebuild, and restore The Tomball Train Depot and Park I say Were thrilled to see each addition and suggestion be implemented and now improved!, to be a destination for respite from todays hustle and bustle, for weddings, photographs, Family Film Nights, a center for entertainment during the City of Tomballs planned Festivals, Parades, Tomball Night Outs and on the agenda for Photographers, Lunchtime Picnics with the kids, ice rinks, carnivals and more. Great little addition to a growing small town!

Love the museum and the orchestra from the Jr High

Fun for all. They have 2 model train areas. Had a wide range of kids in our group and they all loved it. Will be back soon.

I was wandering around Old Town Tomball and stumbled upon the Tomball Depot. What a fun, quaint, one of a kind, little gem! There are unique shops, antiques and tasty restaurants and little tea rooms to make a beautiful day sparkle and fill with memories for a lifetime!

Small but extremely interesting! Friendly, knowledgeable staff. If you have some time, ask if Mike Baxter is around.

Nice park with lots of souvenir shops selling traditional Texas and German household goods. I came for the annual Tomball German Christmas Market. This was a huge market with lots of traditional German foods, general foods and crafts, and activities. Activities included rides and face painting for kids and music and dance performances for all. There were lots of people the couple hours we spent there, despite sporadic heavy rain!
