This was a very enjoyable tour of this freighter. Before Covid19 tours were given as group tours. Currently they are self guided but still a great time. Your admission includes a tour of the freighter, a tour of the tug Ohio and admission to the museum on site. All are great for kids!I have visited the museum before. I had never visited the freighter or tug. I was delighted and took more that 150 pictures. The history behind these 2 vessels is astounding. There are placards that tell you about what you are viewing. I spent 2 hours on the freighter and tug, I did not have time for the museum. Give yourself the good part of the afternoon to do all 3.

It was great this Halloween. One time we went there they were passing out little Dum Dum lollipops and tiny stuff like that but this time they had nobody passing them out because of the virus. They were in a little plastic bags with candy in them and you can grab a few. It was fun and especially seeing the whole history and how people long ago used to live in those bunks and you get pretty good access

Biggest Cargo Ship I have been on so far! My boys and I had a lot of fun! You can travel thru the ship at your own pace, lots to see, engine room, blow the horn up top, and with it being a museum lots and lots to learn. Especially inside their building. Few fun games inside for the kids. A definite see, and very reasonable prices

The ship is in pristine condition and the volunteers / crew are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the ship and commercial sailing on the great lakes.

Very fun experience, able to explore tons of nooks and crannies throughout the ship. We had a blast, but if it were crowded Id be a little nervous about the narrow stairways and uneven footing.

Shes a beautifully restored 106-year old Great Lakes freighter; but Im a little biased...I volunteer on it. The boat is closed first of November until first of May. The boat lies next to the National Museum of the Great Lakes. The museum is open year round.

Part of the National Museum of Great Lakes, this revived freighter ship lets you take a close look at the various parts of the ship. The engine room with all its steam engines, age old control systems and indicators is interesting to see. The ship is not wheeelchaw or stroller accessible.

Part of the National Museum of the Great Lakes. Add it as part of the visit, easily worth the 4 extra dollars. Nicely kept up, follow the arrows on deck to get a nice view of life aboard the freighter. Cargo hold, engine room, crew and captains quarters, and pilothouse are all accessible.

I went onboard when she was still the Boyer prior to her move to her present location. Still a lot of restoration goin on at that time.As a retired member of the US NAVY, I found it very interesting to see how my civilian counterparts lived at sea, especially on a ship older than the RMS TITANIC!I highly recommend a visit for anyone interested in maritime history!
