Excepcional, beautiful place to enjoy with family and friends, a lot of nice spots for good pictures. Squirrels, woodpecker, and several others birds. A string crossing by all the Park, a small cascade, and really good place to make some walking and air fresh exercises, many benches and tables to enjoy picnics with beautiful nature touch.
This place has so much potential and could be such an amazing place for our community to enjoy. Seems there isnt enough money spent to maintain the park, much less improve it. Its truly unfortunate for the children of our community. They removed the small playground at the top of the park (at the parking lot) due to safety issues. The last time we were there (before it being removed) the wooden ladder was broken and had nails sticking out. At the lower playground, 2 swings are still broken and there is a metal anchor in the sand where a firemans pole used to be.
All right I think I will. First of it was quite cool up there. As it should be At this time of year. And the wind blew through my hear and across the top of my ears. And that gave me the willy. But not to worry all good it just makes that we are a live.
My girlfriend and I love going on walks there. The water is beautiful especially after a heavy rain. It is also a great place for picnic.
Fun place to take the kids. Has a really nice waterfall, large playground and a sizable area of open land for those who want to do things like frisbee or maybe a game of football. It also has a nice trail to hike though its not terribly long it is enjoyable. There are tennis courts too if thats something youre looking for. All in all its a fun place to take your kids on the weekend with a little bit to do for everyone.
This was my first time going to Henderson falls and my opinion is that it’s not a bad place if you are a outdoors kind of person! I didn’t walk the whole place but there didn’t seem to be much there to do! There’s a decent little playground for children and there’s picnic tables that you could hold birthdays at or other celebrations! They did have trails you could walk, but we didn’t go on any! There’s a creek kids can wade in and the the little waterfalls were okay. I guess I was just expecting a little more!
This is a very clean and well maintained park. The trails are enjoyable with some steep hills. The covered bridge is cute with a beautiful Creek that runs through the whole park. The play grounds, tennis court, picnic pavilion, and mini amphitheater are in excellent condition. Wish I had a park like this at home.
Awesome park if you have small kids - they can play in the creek (our 3y and 5y old loved it), there is a small waterfall, playground and the whole park is very clean and well maintained. If you are looking for kids friendly place, this is the best one around. Not sure which trails have people seen here, but we havent found any.
Childhood memories.... always clean nice n quite...
I lived in Toccoa for over 25 years, and this has always been a favorite spot of mine. Dog friendly on leash.
A River Runs Through It. Pretty place.
Great place to take a family. Needs a playground for the kids tho
We found this gem of a city park by accident. We wanted to see Toccoa Falls, but due to covid-19 the campus is closed. The kids and our parents wanted to see a waterfall. This one cannot compare to the big boy, but the kids had a blast splashing around and we enjoyed walking the bridges in the park.
Fun place to play tennis, hike, geocache or just enjoy a picnic and playground.
Easy to find. Nice place.
My kids always have fun there. We enjoy ourselves and it is such a beautiful area.
Very beautiful park. We held our wedding here under the covered bridge. Even for a June wedding the large trees have us plenty of shade and cooler air. Our wedding guests all seemed extremely happy. They have pavilions to rent with multiple sizes. Great Green space and a creek running right through the park.
Pretty little park =)
Was a great place to be again.
Awesome place to cool off and took kids in the morning had the whole place to ourselves
Its a nice park. It just wasnt what I drove all the way to Toccoa for. Toccoa Falls was closes due to Covid-19 so we stopped at this park for a little while before heading to issaqueena falls
Beautiful small park with a 15 foot waterfall and plenty of places for kids to play in the creek.
Henderson Falls Park is nothing spectacular but it is a great little park to have a nice picnic with your family at. There is a small waterfall and some paved walkways to enjoy some of the nature. Not really a park to go hiking at but still a pretty good place to spend the afternoon outdoors.
Pretty, small park.
This is my go to place. Beautiful setting. A great place to unwind and relax. Restaurants surround the area.
People need to control their dog or pets more often put them on a lease
Pretty place, nice stream, BBQ.
Always enjoy going there. Each time Ive been there, all visitors seem to be happy and friendly. That place just seems to put everyone at ease.
Fairly nice place not much to do
My girls love it with two separate playgrounds and the falls you can walk down to. It is worth a trip. Plenty of picnic tables so pack a lunch. They also have pavilions for parties which you can reserve just call the city Park and Recreation office.
Nice community park with picnic shelters and hiking trails. Lots of people of all ages there in the middle of the day.
Small quaint little park. Very nice for a small family outing or short bike ride. I dont play tennis but the courts look nice as well.
The kids love coming to this nice, clean park to play. The playgrounds are nice, the waterfall is neat, the creek is fun to get in in the summer. There are three tennis courts and two playgrounds, also two covered picnic pavilions and a covered bridge. Several trails head off up the mountain and are fun to hike. Parking is plentiful and there is a book swap box. So bring novels to exchange if you have any extras.
The park is well maintained and its clean. The public restroom is accessible, but its a tight fit for mechanical wheelchairs.
Pretty area but the advertising for it says there are hiking trails. There are only paved trails for a maximum of a half mile walk. A little misleading otherwise a nice spot
Peaceful and clean
Beautiful family park
Free park with a small waterfall with access, pavilion, bathrooms, and playground.
Through no fault of the park we did not really have fun at the great childhoods event. My sister in law is 13 and she has the mind of maybe a 7 year old. Max. We wanted her to be able to be herself but the great childhoods event was targeted at ages 0-5. However the park itself is beautiful. What you first see when you walk in is the evergreen sign that lights up the street and a shimmering creek but if you walk futher on the pavement you will see a hidden waterfall and a little further is large open space with many gazebos and a cute but modern play ground.
Beautuful i grew up there. Love taking my grandkids there. But the city needs to put the playground back up top.
Nice neighborhood park. A few trails. Small waterfall. A place to relax
A nice playground area at the bottom with some good trails to walk on. A few of the areas could some sprucing up a bit. Nice pavilions for picnics (with grills). Mower seating around the playground would be nice. Very clean and well kept. Be careful in the water because the are a few snakes in it but it is nice to wade in otherwise.
Great place to relax and chill or have a blast with the family!
Very nice clean park
Just like any other park but it has natural water body. It has open party space. It has play area and swings for kids. Overall you can have fun in the evenings.
Its a beautiful and relaxing park, there is a little fall, a playground area, and a picnic setting.
Nice day!
Family friendly
Great atmosphere. Great for parties. Playground for kids is great
Beautiful, well kept. Many places to barbecue, have parties while sitting and watching your children play
Me.and my kids love it there
This park is nice. It has trails and a waterfall you can get down close to. There are a few playgrounds and a nice covered pavilion with really nice grills. The bathrooms are nice and clean. There is also historical markers here. There are some picnic tables in the wooded area with trash cans around so its a fairly clean park as well.
Very well kept and nice for different occasions whether its just to take the kids to play or a birthday party even hiking
Perfect place for families,a good place for big and little kids to play in the water, and nice playground equipment all age kids will like, and water everywhere to splash and cool off in and bathrooms and picnic areas seem to stay tidy.
Its nice for a small town park
Nice little park with swings, slides and picnic areas.

A beautiful place to be in family we enjoy too much this day. we have all the things we need to be happy.
Nice park. So much potential. Needs a visionary at the helm.

Quiet place close to town. Pretty park
Nice walking area. running streams
Very nice in the creek you can catch tadpoles, crawfish, salamanders, minnows, and more. Its also very clean.
Pretty place to study or swing. Even a picnic would be nice here. Flowers blooming and a nice little stream. Its cute.
Nice park. Nice playground in the back.
Great place to take your kids!
Clean and well kept park..even the bathrooms were very clean..
Snakes everywhere! Especially near the water. We took a nap on a blanket by the creek and woke up with one crawling on us. Watch out
Hidden surprise in the middle of Toccoa. So much to enjoy, a creek, covered bridge, playground, pavilions and trails.
Love this place
We came to check it out but as we were parking we noticed 3 cars with people in them that didnt appear to be there for the playground or hiking. In one car there was three people and the girl in the front seat was leaning over with her head resting on the dashboard and when I looked over at her she look like she was high or something, unfortunately we didnt feel comfortable and left without getting out of the truck. This is one persons observation and I am not from the area or familiar with the comings and goings here at this location.
