Very cool historic site. Several ( level ) trails that travel thru Cherokee and Creek Indian villages ( remnants long gone ) Its a fun look at local history and its also free ! Nice pavilion and clean bathrooms near the parking area. WARNING : Some trails pass thru rather buggy areas and mosquito spray is a must.
Nicely laid out with great trails. Tour guide James Sullivan is incredibly knowledgeable about flora, fauna, and history of the area. Park manager Buddy and his assistant, Larry, are very friendly. Great place!
Great new park! Well marked trail with great places to stop to take in the scenery. Also a handicap accessible trail paved for wheelchair use. A wonderful shelter for family reunions or birthday parties. Only drawback is that it is not open every day.
Natural setting, primitive camping.
Beautiful place for a picnic and walk by the river. Camp sites are also available.
Quiet outdoor experience with very good pinic facilities and walking paths one of which is wheelchair accessible.
Nice and easy trails that are well maintained. Easy access to the river. Geocaching
