My first time on a golf course! It was fun n exciting, thanks to my teachers. I love them for their patience.I understand that this course is or soon will be closing. I liked the scenery. It was my very first time on a golf course. Thank you Terry and Gene.

Went to a meeting here. Looked like a great place.

Its not a top notch golf course but there has been a lot of updating and renovation going on to bring it back to a golfers paradise.New restaurant going in and friendly staff. They offer Monday specials which is a Monday discount that saves about $10.00 off regular charges. They are the least expensive of all the golf clubs within 25 miles that I know of. For a casual good time I recommend them.

Very sad they have decided to close at 1:00 p.m Monday-Thursday. Really not the best wayto run a business. I guess Walkabout will be seeing some new business!!If the business was doing that bad for the past 5 years, one has to wonder why the owner bought it to start with!

We went here to watch the Miami Dolphins play. The game was not on regular TV and they have the NFL ticket. This is a very friendly almost like being at home type of place. At the time they just lost their coolers so they didnt have any food. But we were allowed to order food in and have it delivered. The bartender was so accommodating and sweet it was like hanging out with your family. They have quite a few TVs and comfortable seats. And thats a lot coming from me because Im really picky about that kind of thing. Its definitely a nice place to watch the football game and I think they usually have food and I hear that its pretty good I will go back.

The golf course has been clawed for over Sox months, the only thing open is the Bar.

Is this place closed for good? Went by the other day and it looked like a ghost town.

The improvements under the new ownership have proved far beyond evident. Sherwood is definitely moving towards a new peak and the most recent reviews seem to think so as well. The restaurant is BACK OPEN with yummy food and great deals, the bar brings a good time, there are new carts, the bathrooms have been remodeled, and the list goes on. The staff there is absolutely phenomenal, especially Genny in the pro shop! They take the time to talk to you and the initiative to remember things like your name, making the experience so much more personable and memorable. When it comes to the course itself, the rates are the BEST in Brevard County, the pace of play is efficient as starters and rangers are on site; it yields a good but not impossible challenge; and its well-maintained, especially the greens. Its a shame when it rains, but theres no one else to blame for the wetness but mother nature herself. Will come back!

Nice layout with many challenges. It recently changed owners and the difference is already very evident -- in a good way. I will play here more often. Rates are reasonable too !

First time playing there and I found the course in good shape.Fairways are in good shape as are the greens.The staff are very friendly and helpful,plus you can not beat the price for 18 holes with cart.You best know how to draw the ball so you can cut some of the holes and get some birdies.I recommond this course to anyone in town and they are going to see me next Thanksgiving weekend.Thank you for a good time.

Had my wedding reception here and it was phenomenal! The staff were amazing to work with and the facility is beautiful and affordable!

Ive been playing Sherwood for years now and usually its my go to golf course. I think the winter rates are a little too steep especially for the locals like me who play there often. Courses should give a discount rate for people they know play there.

Solid golf course with great prices

I was very disappointed in your service on my visit on the 4th of Feb to your course. Your starter that day seemed very attentive only to the groups that he knew who were making the turn at 9AM and playing another round while the folks waiting to start were asked to wait while they finished on #18. The group ahead of us with the 9:20 time finally went in and got a refund and left. The tee box was open for ten to fifteen minutes while everyone waited for the groups making the turn to finally get there. Our time was 9:26 and we finally got off at closer to 10AM. On my future trip to visit your area to play golf, I will patronize one of your competitors where my green fees will hopefully be better appreciated.

Sherwood has come a long way. I used to refuse to play there, now its my favorite course! They finally got a good greens keeper and their fairways and greens are in great condition. Low price too ($25). Highly reccomend.Dont go to Royal Oak though, that place is horrible. Dead spots on the greens and weeds everywhere. Putting was a nightmare.

Any golf club in Brevard county discount fees for golfers which choose to walk. The fact that walking in Sherwood Golf Club course is not recognized as a viable option with a discount, keeps the walking golfers away. If that is the intent, you succeeded!

Out of Business!

Actually it was a beautiful place. The only problem is the whole party was ruined because someone stole two cell phones of the people that were hosting the birthday party for their one year old. It was all family there...and who would steal cell phones you ask? Well apparently T-moble phones(when you take the sims card out and insert another sims card cannot be traced) Maybe it happened before and someone called up and said hey, did you find a cell phone? and the person said no. Anyway...we think it was someone that worked there. The police said they havent had any other incidents. But then again? If a phone was missing maybe it was never really reported as an outright stolen phone. So...if you go hang on to your possessions.

There are no slot machines unless there somewhere the general public cant se them. A great layout for beginners and long enough to be challenging to scratch golfers. Not pga ready but they are working towards that goal this course has been turned around 10 fold in the lst 3 yrs greens are awsome in season and fast several dogs left and right to challenge shapers of the golf ball. In my opinion aust hit if touring east central Florida. You wont be disappointed. Ya the club house is old but has character and the watering hole at 19 is a must see.
