Hospitality is stellar. My fiancé and I went by to look at this wonderful place for our wedding. Upon arrival we were offered drinks so the southern hospitality is definitely there. Justin the manager did a tour then sat both or us and our families down to explain their pricing and everything and he was sure to find out our vision for the wedding. We met Ms. Vivian one of the owners and she sat next to me and told me ways she would personally add touches to make my big day one that I would dream of forever. Every time we visit the location we are welcomed with open arms and treated like family. The hospitality, customer service and staff all make you feel welcome. Unfortunately we didn’t book here only because our guest list expanded and we wanted to have everyone in the same room. However, We definitely recommend La Cita for weddings, brunch is amazing especially the unlimited mimosas and I can’t leave our they throw great pool parties with Tony the DJ. Stop by the club you won’t regret it.
I love hanging out at La Cita! The staff is friendly and the food is delicious. Every time I have been to La cita I have had a great experience. I would highly recommend La Cita for food and fun!
A bit pricey; service was awesome; and peace and quiet for good conversation. Mellow music in the background added to a feel of luxury.
Friendly locals bar and restaurant. Relaxed atmosphere.
I must say were very surprised that NONE of the staff wore face protection at the restraunt last night. Not one single person from our server to the manager to the bartender even Chef Larry came out without a mask! It kinda of bothered us. Besides that the food was very good as usual. I dont think we will be back until they were proper protection. Its too bad, we really like the place.
The people that work here are just right on,all the time, very courteous, and always with our safety in mind now, because not whats going on,the course is in very good shape, for this time of year,no rain to speak of,but they are keeping up with the Joneses anyway, had a wonderful day of golf today and as always,a cart girl with a wonderful smile and personality!!! Thanks to BRENT, for maintaining a good repore with all the golfers, and the pro shop people are super too! Very courteous all the time and keeping everyone safe, for a great day of golf, thank you very much every one of you for being at work during this time in our lives!!!
Hosted my baby shower here and everything was amazing! The staff and servers were so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious! My guests kept complimenting the venue and food. This place is definitely a hidden gem! I highly recommend La Cita for any event.
Always an amazing time. Very relaxing
Wonderful day of golf with new Canadian friends from Montreal. Beautiful country club, great course. Thanks to Logan n Steve for this recommendation. Did not disappoint
Prime rib rare like I ask but hard to cut alot strings of ? Not a good quality of meat. Flavor good juices good just not a good quality of prime rib.
Another great round on this hidden gem. Consistent greens, beautiful blue skies, and a challenging layout. Evaluate your skills on this excellent track today.
Course is in terrible shape. Would not recommend anyone waste there money here.
Have enjoyed dinner in the clubhouse on several occasions, but last nights prime rib buffet was over the top. Some of the best prime rib we have had in a very long time. Our party of 6 enjoyed the peel and eat shrimp, salad, assorted veggies, potatoes, salmon, chicken and the star of the show, delicious prime rib. All topped off with assorted desserts.Management is making great strides toward restoring this restaurant to one of Titusvilles best restaurants.
In its heyday, La Cita Country Club set the standard for country clubs on Florida’s Space Coast. When its doors opened in 1985, this landmark country club attracted some of the region’s most influential golfers and socialites; not just from the immediate area, as most new clubs tend to do, but from as far as Orlando, Palm Beach and Jacksonville. The course is a traditional blend of manicured turf, decorative landscapes, and native woodlands. Mature trees line many of the fairways and water comes into play on 14 holes. Break out the bird watcher’s guide as you make your way around; you’re bound to encounter white egrets, sand hill cranes, ospreys, hawks, and even the occasional eagle.La Cita is definitely not your typical Florida golf course[.] In fact, it’s very challenging no matter which set of tees you play. The course takes full advantage of the surrounding topography; in addition to the lakes and woods, you’ll encounter small hills and slight elevation changes, something not common in this part of the state. For the most part, the greens are small and elevated. They tend to run on the fast side and roll true, which only adds to the excitement.A full complement of practice facilities — including a driving and chipping range — are at your disposal. There’s also a large practice putting green in front of the clubhouse. The range maxes out around 200 yards, so most players won’t be able to hit driver.Plenty of doglegs and mature oak trees with overhanging branches will challenge your accuracy, especially off the tee. Your accuracy is greatly rewarded on approach shots as well, because many of the greens are very small and crowned. After your round, be sure to stop by the clubhouse for a cold beverage and some great food. The well-stocked bar has all your favorite libations, as well as several domestic and craft brews on tap and a respectable wine list. Seasonal menus authored by executive chef Daro Chan can be enjoyed for lunch and dinner, as well as a for Sunday brunch. Chan was lured to La Cita last fall from Indian River Preserve, a nearby public course. His regional reputation is formidable, and his culinary range impressive. One of the menu selections that piqued my palate was the Pot Roast Poutine: tender braised prime rib tips and cheese curds in a rich, brown gravy. At the time of this writing, it was available for both lunch and dinner. Another interesting option is the Salmon BLT: poached, flaked salmon, bacon and Swiss cheese wrapped in a flour tortilla with lettuce, vine-ripe tomato and lemon-dill mayonnaise.Until only a few years ago, the club was in decline; despite the previous owners’ good intentions, appearances were not being kept up. In December 2016, the property was purchased by Vivian Dimond, an influential and highly respected South Florida real estate developer and investor who is also a famously gracious hostess. She immediately set out to restore La Cita to its former glory, from the clubhouse to the greens, where a new irrigation system was immediately installed, and a fleet of new golf carts purchased. Granted, the work continues, but conditions are improving on a daily basis, particularly on the golf course. In addition to the Stay-and-Play component and member-for-a-day specials, La Cita currently offers some great golf membership opportunities. The Unlimited Membership includes unlimited access to the golf course, driving rage, tennis and racquetball courts, swimming pool, athletic club and clubhouse. Corporate memberships are also available. Snowbirds will appreciate the seasonal membership, which can be purchased with or without golf cart privileges. (All memberships have a low monthly food and beverage minimum.)As La Cita puts members and guests first, and completes its renovations, this once-famous course should regain its place of prominence on the Space Coast. My advice: Play this course while you can; once restoration is complete, getting a tee time will be tough.
Good club. Good people.
I love this place. As a new member, I have found the people friendly and the staff very professional. The only criticism I do have is the food. It is ok for the most part but I was expecting it to be better. A simple hot dog should be easy enough to order but the one I was served was more along the lines of a sausage. Not good. And perhaps they could serve a hamburger that isn’t 4” inches thick. And Mondays with no food service is a bummer. But I do love the place and I will be there everyday weather permitting.
Wow, where to start? Its been a very long time since I have had the pleasure of eating at a restaurant and having no complaints. Gumbo was perfect, fried gator was on point, steak Madagascar melted in my mouth! Service was exceptional!
Played 9 holes with my wife the staff was very friendly and helpful we look forward to playing again soon
What a lousy experience. I came in and sat at the bar at 6:55pm. I was completely ignored for 20 minutes. My wife finally started waving at someone around 7:15 and they asked in a rather indifferent manner if I wanted something. My response? Not any more. Another table had to get up and go find a waitress. They call this a country club dining experience? There were neven more than 30 people in the restaurant and might have been 4 at the bar. What a shame. Got to laugh though. An hour after I came in (at 7:51) 3 different people finally asked me if I wanted something.
La Cita had the best greens that I have seen in a long time. The course was in exceptionally good shape. Weather seem to be other players, play was at a good speed. We had a most enjoyable time and are looking forward to returning next week. Attached is a photo of the first Fairway. Theres a large Oak Tree in the middle.
The food is wonderful with lots of specials to entice as the club is working to regain new and old members. Good wine list with half price bottles on Friday and Saturday. Even have an early bird special. They have the best fish and chips in the area and Chefs fish dishes are a delight.
This beautiful, challenging course is #1 for shade, due to its large, gorgeous, mature trees. This is an important detail in Florida!
Played twice on this golfcourse. We liked it very much. The hospitality was impressive. The lunch we had i a nice surrounding was worth every penny, great qualityWe played with clubs from the club which was including the fee, also a great service. My set was incomplete so the director Mr. Brant Craddock (who was in the shop) give me his clubs to play with, without knowing me!I have never ever expirienced something like this. Apart from a great course, it felt comfortable and the trust felt great!!!Thank you La Cita Golf, thank you Mr. Brant Craddock.Greatings from a couple of Dutchies.
My mom was a chef at The Breakers in Palm Beach for many years, so I know good food and cook good food.Ordered the Torenados Rossini...which should be a tender filet mignon, topped with foie gras and Madeira wine sauce. Instead I got a 1/2 strip steak, topped with some sort of corn cake, and slathered with a weird tanish sauce devoid of flavor.Wifes fettuccine with shrimp was flavorless, gelatinous and poor.Service was ill timed, awkward and lacking in training.Bread was Winn Dixie brand with you peel butter.Sorry Lilian Diamon, but you have a LONG way to go in restoring this to an attractive dining destination. In the meantime, we will spend our $$$ on superior restaurants in Orlando.
Great place
Great
My husband and I had our wedding at LaCita on December 29th. Everything was exceptional. The food was delicious (Good job Chef), the staff did an amazing job at making sure everything went smooth and the ambience was perfect for our special day. I would highly recommend LaCita for events.
Wonderful food, beautiful renovation! We had a lovely Thanksgiving. Vivian has done a marvelous job since taking ownership.
Amazing grounds and facility. It has been newly renovated! I think its the best golf course and country club in all of the space coast.
The course is in great shape and the club house is perfectly done...We really enjoyed the tournament and will continue to play here. Highly recommended.
Fairways only in fair condition, Greens OK, but the rate of play was poorly maintained. They allow 5 people to play and when we called to report a real back up they wouldnt do anything about it. Obviously not interested in pleasing visitors.
Very miss managed..low employee moral..not very up beat.. talked to many of the employees..they are not happy and it reflects to the customer. This business has the opportunity to grow into a money maker, but the owners I believe are using it as a tax right off...Be smart Vivian. Oh well just my opinion.
Private Country Club in the process of returning to its former glory. The course is difficult but laid out nicely. Still plenty of room for improvement though
Came to have a nice dinner with my family, that was not the case. As the girl who scrambled to seat us in a pretty much empty restaurant. Took about 20 minutes to get our drinks.... well most of our drinks. We waited a little longer to get the bottle of wine we had ordered. Looking back into the bar I was able to see our waiter enjoying some wine for himself, then he came to tell us the they were out of the wine we ordered. Luckily he was there to offer us a bottle that was 3 times more expensive. Shot that down and got something more comparable. After that was figured out, we moved onto our food. Mostly oversalted and basically inediable. Got pork belly that was so over cooked it almost broke a tooth. Also ordered their steak special, fried onions were cold, green beans were cold, and my twice baked potato was left in the microwave a little too long and burnt any tasted buds that might have actually let me taste what little flavor may have been there. All in a it was a bad experience. But it seemed to get worse. When we asked for a manager it seemed there was no one in charge. But I guess that leaving four 20 somethings year olds in charge of a bar on a Friday night makes total sense. Wont be coming back.
This is a great place to play golf. Good greens and great fairways. Nice friendly staff.
Great cuisine, great venue, great serviceNew management and staff have really made an appreciable difference.
Food needs attentionto detail- please.
Under new ownership, improvement are being make. A fun course to play.
The country club is in the process of a big renovation and I am sure once they are done it will be very clean and nice. I look forward to using the facilities very soon.
They are in the process of renovating, which is excellent. Im sure it will be in much better condition afterwards. We rented a hacienda room for a night, I wouldnt recommend room 1207. Its very very old, and run down. The room smelled like bleach had just been poured onto the floors to clean, it was so strong we had to open the windows to air it out. We ended up not even staying because it smelled so strongly, and was so outdated and dingey, we didnt feel comfortable bathing our children in the tub. Apparently, there are other rooms that are more updated with cleaner looking linens and such, maybe those would be worth the ridiculous winter rate charge. We did have lunch there, the food was ok, the service wasnt stellar (we arrived before a big party, so the big party seemed to take priority). Overall, playing golf might be nice there, wed much rather stay in a place thats clean, and has somewhat updated linens at least for $140 a night.
The worst course I have ever golfed on. Only dirt on t-boxes, no grass on fairways, and the greens were mostly bare..
Great people great service! Just a beautiful place to be!!
Convenient, great service, incredible food and great times!
Need some care but a nice layout
Found plastic in the spinach artichoke dip. Manager was kind enough to comp the dip and our sodas as we cancelled the rest of our order.
Honesty, professionalism and wonderful amenities!
Excellent. Bang bang great.
Found tons of roaches in my food
Great golf coarse
Weeds weeds and more weeds no fairways at all. AT ALL. Terrible
Very convenient
Best golf community of Titusville Fl
Just excellent!
