Freedom Fest 2019 was a great end to our familys 4th of July celebration! The kids had many activities to keep them busy, the live music was great, and the fireworks finale didnt disappoint. I also appreciate the clean restrooms and the abundance of security and local law enforcement. We will definitely do it again next year!

Its really a nice park for children. They have to have somewhere to go and play with other children. This corvid 19 has really set alot of people back but it is going to get better. Just pray about it. The good Lord is going to take of it.

We stopped by and used a picnic table to eat our lunch on it was nice...

Beautiful landscaping, clean restrooms, camera security, splash pad for kids, nice big pavilion for parties, bbq, several picnic tables and benches. They also have a big fenced pond with ducks and geese. The trail goes around it into the part of the larger part of the park with large shady trees. One of the best city parks Ive been to!

Love going walking getting healthier exercise enjoy the ducks my grand kids love the park. I normally walk 5 to 8 miles until past several months due to applying for job.

This is a lovely park. Theres a sidewalk all around the lake. Its very peaceful even though part of it is by the road. Lots of ducks and fish. Theres also a fishing pond in the back of the park.

Legitimately lovely Park with lots of grass for kids to run around, a big ground level fountain for them to splash in, a playground and a picnic area.The parts that I explored were easily accessible via walker or wheelchair. Even the fountain is accessible provided that youre willing to get your mobility device wet.

Thomaston should put their money into other projects like the old depot and make it a thomaston museum

This is a very family friendly park. Lots of swings and an elaborate jungle gym give the younger ones something to do. The pond is nice too, with lots of turtles, ducks, geese and some rather large fish. Bring some bread to feed them all and they will entertain you. I didnt use the toilet so I cant comment on the cleanliness. Lots of walking trails too. Very beautiful.

Love to take walks around the pond and through the paved area through the trees. My kids love to feed the ducks. During the summer the water fountain is a great place for the kids to cool off.

Nice path around pond, but watch your step to avoid goose poop....The splash pad is nice for kids to play in and the playground has nice swings and play structures. The grandkids love it.

Its a nice place to walk with your dogs. small playground and all the pics of the water spraying for kids to play in is nice but I have never seen that. Maybe the city should work on that kids would really love it this summer

Great place. Safe walking trails that aren’t too secluded. Restrooms. Easy access and plenty of parking.

This was a nice little park to go to. I love the huge duck pond thats there. Plus theres a play ground for kids, a water pad for the kids during the summer, and a lot of room for walking the trails.

Its a nice park with clean grounds, a splash pad thats nice for the kiddos (especially in this GA heat!), and beautiful lake. Its in a perfect location thats easy to access.

I would have given 5 stars.... Nice area to feed the ducks, watch your babies play and get some quick steps in on the trail. My only complaint is during the summer when its super HOT the maintenance aka park police will harass you about your child having a popsicle which is absolutely ridiculous, i could see if they were throwing trash on the ground but they werent. The county or the city whomever is over the park employees needs to RETRAIN THEM in customer service etiquette.

Park seems well kept, and some of the playground equipment is toddler-sized, and my toddlers just love going to play here. Recently, my family went for Halloween trick or treating, face painting, and games! My little ones had fun! Its nice to see the community using the park for family events like this

I do not exactly know what to say about rating a Memorial Park. Its a great way to remember your loved ones

My kids love it here (all 4 thats including the husband) If you want a picnic and need to cool off too. Jump into the sprinkler and enjoy a day of fun. Lets not forget the Pokemon gym and stops along the way.

Nice clean park with a great view. It hgad ducks, water fountain/geyser in middle of fenced pond, and in ground water sprinkler for kids to play and keep cool in in the summer. Gazebo, picnic tables, and nice green lawn for picnics.

Great local place to take your family. Nice playground for the kids, walking trails, a pond with geese and ducks, and plenty of seating located throughout. A pavilion is available for picnics as well. Decent restrooms.

Great place to walk for exercise

Nice sized playground for kids, a pond that you can walk laps around, 2 new tennis courts, and it also has a pavilion with bathrooms and water fountains. During the summer months they turn on a fountain for the kids that sprays from the ground.

Reserved pavilion for party. Was told water fountains will be on. Arrived and was not on. The guy here told us it was not coming back on they turned it off after labor day. It cleary states it will be on until the end of September. Very misleading.

Lots of goose poop. Some dog owners dont follow leash laws which makes it impossible to enjoy.
