I just wish they had more trash cans or dog stations on the trail. But besides that a very well taken care of and large.

The park is nice and clean. There is a swimming pool area that is closed now due to the coronavirus, tennis area, volleyball area, pond with ducks and turtles and a walking trailer thats about 3/4 miles. Plenty of parking and you can also get your swing on, whether its golf or baseball.

It was good but it needs shade on the bleachers, also more concession food. The people were courteous

Need some work done on basketball court. The goals and playing surface need help. Might want to think about putting some type of cover over playing surface too.

I found used needles and dope baggies by the pond but other then that it was a pleasant place

What i feel like a park is adding a skatepark cause there like 46 or more minutes and a large skatpark for skateboarders and a diffrent one for scooter and bikes yeah theres a huge space you can use in the ben gill park please it will mean a lot to me please

Amazing experience I watched the fireworks and it was a beautiful experience definitely going again next year

Needs to be updated with some TLC, but otherwise nice place to go for a walk with your dog and let the kids run around the pond and playground. Also has a nice covered picnic area and bathrooms.

Wonderful park like setting with picnic tables and walking path. Saw the ducks, even a young one in December! Wonderful area to play Pokemon with several gems.

We like to walk around the walking track around the pond with the ducks in it from time to time. Pleasant way to get exercise.

Beautiful park needs improvements on playground. The playground is all busted not safe for children and outdated and small. Not a good playground for kids but the pond with turtles and ducks was nice. The basketball area need improvement also. It is sad to have a nice beautiful park with run down equipment. Needs a splash pad and large updated play area with more picnic area. Like almost every other city park.

The best park its fun here

Lots of shade from the trees, some bleachers to sit down on if you need, a restroom. There was a game going on when we went to the park so we could hear the the announcers over the stadium speakers. There was a small basketball court where 2 people were playing basketball, but other than that we had the area to ourselves. We brought our cats for a walk.

My family & I enjoy jogging the trail, its also great that they added more sand and nets at the volleyball courts! Its great during the day, now only if they had night lights like the basketball & tennis courts it would be perfect!

Ben Gill is the perfect place for the family. Has three different play areas, nicely shaded, benches and tables for picnics. Just lovely.

It needs to be remodeling facelift make a great for peoples love it .

My wife and I stopped dirty after stopping by and grab some fast food nachos from dos locos in Terrell Texas if you havent tried nachos there are 100% recommended they have shrimp and chicken beef all on more than you can eat if you and your wife go or you in a kid or just two people I recommend you just order one if you want to you will have leftovers great tasting customer service is awesome and if you go in to eat they also have karaoke Neymar in a bar and Margarita nights on Wednesdays got to love margaritas a wife does

Great place to take the family, and have fun outside.

They have a huge bbq grill right next to a nice sized pond that has geese to look at though I wouldnt feed them, also there is a nice size playground for the kids a trail to walk for everyone and a small fish pond u can actually step in and see the fish.

My dog and I come to Ben Gill Park for our regular walks and exercise now that the weather is beautiful, Bella and I will be here more often.

Over all its a great place to have fun the things that keeps it from being 5 stars is the bathroom rarely has toilet paper and maintaince needs to step it up on repairs.

Ive played sports here since I was 11 and Im 27 now. Great park for family fun as well.

Cute park! The only restrooms I found could be locked from the outside only, so bring a friend that you trust.

A lot of holes in the soccee field. Multiple fire ant hills. Very little parking. And a drunk woman walked across the soccer field in the middle of the game. Will only go back of we have to.

Ive been visiting Ben Gill Park since I was a child, and over the years its gotten better. Its pretty, clean, has a great picnicking area, large playground, even a small pond where you can feed the ducks. Highly recommended.

Its got a nice pond with a waterfall and ducks. It has a huge pavalawn with clean restrooms. it has s good size walking or jogging trail.it has a wooden bridge with a small stream running under it. It has basketball goals tennis courts and a soccer field.one of the bad things is you have to be out of the park by midnight or you get a ticket.it is patrolled. Oh, please watch out for snakes in the summer.they usually are located by the Rocky areas of the pond.

Great park. Split into 4 main sectuons one is basball and aoccer fields. Another is gazebo and pond and a running or walking track. Anither is under trees in includes basketball a swimming pool tennis and picnic area. And the last is a large wooden playground with swings i recomend all for whatever situation is best

It was a nice park for walking. The scenery isnt spectacular but it is a nice place to go for a walk, or a jog, or just sit and watch the ducks.

The 4th of July fireworks was a nice show. The musical band they chose was AWFUL.....PERIOD......Need to have more Patriotic music for OUR COUNTRYS BIRTHDAY, July 4th.

Ladies restroom had no tissue, no light and was dirty. There was a man walking around with a brick looking into vehicles. And there were so many leaves piled up you couldnt walk

Peaceful and good scenery

Nice park but the playground needs work. The location near the pond wasnt the safest idea and the mulch around the equipment was gone making the equipment too high up for kids.

Is just that a park not tooken care of at all the city could do a lot better on taking care of it thats ehat i think anyway

Love to go there in my free time. Great for dog walks, or even pokemon go. (It has 3 pokestops and a gym) Wonderful place for a job or bike ride, or duck feeding. Love going there all the time!
