I went to the park to go walking. Beautiful park. Amazing job at keeping it clean and mowed. I enjoyed walking around the park, there are benches all over the park to stop, sit and watch birds and squirrels. There are a lot of shade trees and plenty of places to have a picnic. Its a beautiful park with lots to do and they offer a lot of fun.

This park is beautiful! It is September and the squirrels are playing and hunting food. You can see the leaves if the trees beginning to change colors to those bright reds and yellows for the fall. There are always people around bring their children to the playground or coming to exercise by walking, running, or riding their bicycles. At the top of the park, behind the swimming pool, are quiet little coves that are great for getting digital office work done or to just sit and meditate on Gods creation as you sit and watch the squirrels and the birds in a peaceful setting. The ponds are beautiful and you can see people enjoying the fishing these offer. The geese think they rule the park as you watch as they move about on a section of the park they have commandeered as theirs. Then you can watch them cross the park drive to the pond. This park is sure to bring you to a state of peace if you admire it as Gid intended us to admire.The only down fall is that some of the wooden tables need to be sanded and painted. The old paint is peeling off making the table tops difficult to hold picnic dishes level and is rough sitting on.

We got a puppy from the rescue down the street and stopped here to play and potty before our driver home. She enjoyed the park and seeing grass for maybe the first time. Seemed like a really nice park and wish we had more time to explore or lived closer.

This park is seriously so great. Ive been coming here for years. My first date with my now wife was disc golf here. Tons of open space, tons of trees, nice walking trails, basketball, tennis, small baseball field, great playground, public pool multiple ponds, pavilions you can rent, and during the winter theres sledding and some good hills and Christmas light displays you can drive through. We moved to Fishers and Deming is easily better than any of the parks in Fishers.

Great park! Very clean and grounds beautiful. We also met the Mayor Duke Bennet who was playing with his grandkids:) He was very kind and let my boys take a picture with him. They were very excited to meet him!

We grabbed a takeout meal to enjoy at Deming. Lots of covered picnic tables and pavilions, many with grills. Well maintained park and lots of appreciative users.

The park itself was great! The train ride was fun. The pool however was not the employees were rude and disrespectful. And singled my son out about his swim attire. Then tried to refuse me my money back after not allowing us to swim. They need to work on their attitudes before working with the public. Disappointed overall.

I was feeding a rather large group of about 8 or 9 squirrels leftover crackers and cookies from my truck window . I t was great fun, they reminded of the semi tame Canadian geese that folks almost hand feed for fun. The geese aint got nothin on these red fluffy tailed Deming park squirrels

Very pretty/clean, with lots of opportunities for fun and relaxation. Will definitely come back.

Two big playgrounds for kids. The small train ride was popular with my 6 year old. Large park but we only got through a small portion of it during the 1.5 hours we were there.

The playground is nice for the kids and the train is usually fun. Make sure you bring cash though if your kids want to ride as they dont take debit cards.

We love this park! Tons of space for our son to run around, the playground area is huge and clean, and they have a pool! Very pet friendly as well and they usually have dog bags if you dont have yours!

As my sister and her husband still own a home in Terre Haute (they are retired) now, when we visit them, they bring us to Deming Park to enjoy the open lawns, the play spaces, and for walking the trails.

Beautiful park with a ticket-to-ride train, nature trails, kids playground, public pool and more! Picnic tables, spaces for pavilion parties, concessions area and public restrooms as well. Stroller-friendly and hiking along the perimeter.

This is a beautiful park with many amenities, including a pool, tennis court, basketball court, many pavilions, and an 18 hole frisbee golf course. There truly is something for everyone here and is a wonderful spot for anyone who enjoys the outdoors. Highly recommended!

Great getaway, been going there since I was a kid. Relaxing atmosphere. Have taken my son and granddaughter there. Neighborhood get togethers held there also. Something for everyone

This city park is one of the finest in the state. It is well maintained, and offers many amenities, such as walking trails, an arboretum, a swimming pool, and a train ride. The are many open air shelters, and a building, which is used for special classes and activities.

I have had the best memories of this park. I can tell you my very first experience at this park was when I was 6 years old. I was absolutely terrified to slide down The Rocket!! If anybody has photos of the Rocket Slide, you should post them. THAT slide was the best feature in the park. And who could forget the pony rides, and the small petting area or small animals. To this day, if you venture on the east side of the park in the woods, you might still see remnants of the pond area where they had their Wildlife. You might still see those areas in the ground. Deming Park many many many fawn memories of going up the hill that we called,The Devils Hill. At that time there was nothing devilish about it, except for some of the activity that people got into. And lets not forget the Train the actually went around the entire park back then.

Awesome disc golf course, tons of areas to barbecue with your family. They got a good garden trail or nature trail that you can walk. They do Transit events there to all year long. Kids have an absolute great time every time we go to the park

Great park. Restrooms are in very bad shape and are not lighted well. They have been in decline for a few years now.

A fun spot.while we lived in TH, went to ISU. Love the disc golf. Learned to play it here. Great playgrounds and different spaces for multiple activities. A real gem of Terre Haute.

Great place for kids to enjoy

Park is large, lots of room, plenty of shelters. Today was good weather for a family gathering at the park. I saw a middle school student I know fishing there too.

We love Deming Park. The best play grounds anywhere around. The grounds are well maintained. They have lots of picnic shelters. Its a great place to walk or run. (1.3 miles around the outside.) The Torner Center has all sorts of cool classes they offer. They have a nice outdoor pool. My only complaints are there are very few shaded benches for parents, and the bathrooms are usually pretty dirty.

This is a great park, beautiful and clean. Arguably the best park in Terre Haute. There is shelters and tons of space to play, a pond that regularly has geese and that can be fished from. It also has a highly acclaimed disc golf course. And if youre a pokemon go player there is tons of stops. A pool during pool season and a playground are also features.

Deming Park is a beautiful park tucked away on the eastern side of town. Much bigger than the other parks in town, offering a big playground, a train ride, several ponds and gazebos, a public pool, and an ultimate frisbee course. The driving paths are wide enough for cars to safely pass walkers and joggers. Large rolling hills make you feel like you are no longer in Terre Haute.

Went to see the beautiful Christmas lights, even stopped for the drive-in that Sarah Scott had on display! Turned my radio to the station & listened to it for a while

Deming Park is a very nice place. Of course I had to visit the Disc Golf Course. The locals are great bunch of folks. Very nice and welcoming! I am sure to play he Course any time I visit the area.

Expansive and well maintained. Great place to stop on a road trip. Close enough to the highway it wasnt much of a detour. The tiny train is a cool addition.

We took our Granddaughters there, and they had a blast on the playground!! It helped that it was also a beautiful day.

Go there 3 times a week with a daycare i work with. The kids, my co-workers and I love it. Always a great day.
