I always love walking through this park. The trees are changing colors and the squirrels are out gathering food. Very pleasant and serene.

We rented the pavillion. This was a quaint little place to host a baby shower. It was clean, had a kitchenette and smart outlets that were not low to the ground all around the building. We had around 25 people in there. It would not be a great place for any more than that. Chairs and tables were there. Also a small restroom, no changing table.There is no microwave.It worked out perfect for our baby shower.Nothing is allowed on the walls or windows. We built quick little back drops.The lighting is very beautiful. There are three big glass windows that allow lots of natural light. There are also three doors to get into building. The north door is great, its directly facing the play ground equipment. Great idea for kids party so they can run to and from.

Got married in the gazebo! Had reception in the building. Mostly quiet park, not crowded, unless theres a family function of some kind going on in shelters.

Its great to walk around with the dog and sit in the gazebo. They have a community area to rent out for parties and a concession stand right next to it with public bathrooms. Three large shelters that have a grill and garbage cans. A huge horseshoe area for competitions. There are two tennis courts. A good size soccer field and a playground for the kiddos. Super dog friendly they have three disposal areas with poop bags.

Wonderful, well kept park within the city of Terre Haute. Walking, picnicking, restrooms, lots of shade...

Its always so nice to visit this park

Just had our family reunion there, I loved it, the park was clean and the bathrooms were also clean, its a good place to get together with your family .there was other people there riding there bikes and just enjoying the nice weather a great place to go.

Been coming to this park since I was a young kid over 60 yrs ago..We ate lunch there today

I love this park. Its a great place to go on walks and enjoy with your family. The community does a great job ensuring that its clean. I see many people picking up litter as they go on their walks.

Spots for meeting family and friends under pavilion or in the open at picnic tables under tree cover. There is also a welcome/nature center here in the center of the park. Bike/car/walking path goes around the outer portion of the park.

Small playground swiftly falling into disrepair. Is a convenient recreation location for my 10 year old. The city should focus more on neighborhood resources like this and not on trying to build a casino, new prison, or convention center.

Nice place to get away from it all for a while, dog friendly, bathrooms available( sometimes locked), picnic tables, and benches.Located In a historical part of Terre Haute, stores hereby.

Love this little park. It has good paths that are fairly large. There is always a place to have a picnic. Good soccer fields and tennis courts. They even have horseshoes. Wish they had a basketball court.

I think this park holds its own above the rest . Its super clean and inviting plus the in the fall the scenery is absolutely gorgeous I just love taking my family here definitely plenty spots to picnic and a nice little area for the kids to enjoy themselves as well

If you visit in early spring before they do the first mow the whole park is covered in beautiful white and violet flowers. Plus, there are gorgeous magnolia trees in the east corner that make the perfect picture spot.

Quiet park and localized by lots of kids. Park is. I e with plenty of shelters and fields. Off the beaten path and often filled with dog walkers and joggers.

My son thoroughly enjoyed playing at this park. We went to the playground in the back of the park that is surrounded by trees. There was another playground towards the front, but it has zero shade for a hot day.

I really enjoy taking my little boy here for a good run-down of his energy. Wish there were more picnic tables in shady areas, however, love that there are picnic tables offered at all! Always enjoy seeing the squirrels freely play out in the open every time we go here.

A very nice public park for the area. There isnt a whole lot of set parking but there usually isnt very many people there at one time. There are covered pavilions, several benches and nice places to jog around the park.

Had an awesome time just eating pizza at a shelter house with family clean and friendly environment. Even squirrels...

Great place for a church picnic or family reunion! The pavilion is a nice place for those days when its very hot outside! The playground is handy for the kids, too!

This is a very nice city park. It has bathroom with running water ... tennis courts ... horse shoe pits ... nice size playground ... a gazebo ... plenty of covered shelters with picnic tables and a nice renovated building that can be rented with full kitchen and bathroom.It is located in a nice part of Terre Haute and a lot of locals in the neighborhood do laps around the park ... its probably about a mile around.This is a very dog friendly park.

Large open park; nice winding drive; lots of dedicated covered tables; kids area good sized as well(North end): cooled restrooms with ramps! Pretty quite park. Had my Harvey family renunion their, in the small building for gatherings!

Very enjoyable walk ... sidewalks around the outside of park and drive thru the middle for walking paved surfaces. 1883 Historic park with several covered pavillions with grills and one enclosed one ... can be reserved. Benches, Playground, horseshoes, tennis courts, soccer field (bring your own equipment). Lots of tall, probably 100 yr old trees.

Love it here. Played at the park as a child, and still enjoy walking around. Nice and peaceful.
