Ive been coming here for years and its still the awesome place I bring the kids to for a cheap family night!Customer service is great. Popcorn is always the best Ive had, even without the half a dozen seasonings they offer!It might not be as fancy as the other guys but it always feels like a family favorite.

This is one of the coolest places Ive ever been. Its like walking into a different world. The guy that wants the kosher popcorn should go to the Arclight in Hollywood they have real butter too. Tickets are $35.00

This movie theater is a wonderful value. Adult tickets are $3.95. The projection and sound systems are as good as the non discount theaters. In normal non covid times they play movies that have recently left the major chains. There have 8 screens, a good snack bar, clean bathrooms and plenty of parking.

We love coming here.mom enjoys the very yummy micheladasand the girls enjoy all the different popcorn flavors stand.

My family and I are very happy they are open again! We had a great time today and enjoyed some popcorn and nachos

It’s great to have one deep discount theater place in town and this is it. The reason I’m going 5 stars is because I think that price to value merits it. I also think that there are often times I would be willing to pay a few bucks more if a few of the seats were pulled out and replaced with full reclining seats as most of the time the theater is never close to full anyway.

This place is fantastic. Its dirty as hell. But, its a fun place. Clean it up would be my only suggestion. Oh also, all of the drinks we tried to get were out. It took a long time to get it restocked. A new manager maybe needs to be in place?? Just thinking out loud here.

Great outdoor movie experience.

Very good admission cost for movies. Chairs dont recline but theaters are in great shape. Sound and picture quality are good. We visit often.

I love temeku. They always have fun throwback movie weekends. I dont always go to the movies for premier nights so its nice to have an affordable place to see movies :)

Good discount theatre. Showing movies around a month after the major chains show them, but for around half the normal ticket price. They also show classics like Ghost busters and Shaun of the dead. Sometimes they have quizzes before the classics and hand out prices to the winners. People working there are friendly and helpful.

Staff not friendly or helpful. The seats are filthy and very uncomfortable ( not heavy) some were covered with plastic easy to assume they were broken. The price of the movies are really good but The theater needs an upgraded and staff needs to take a class on customer service.

I actually like coming here because tickets are cheap and you can find a seat with relative ease.

We always love coming here as the prices are great. It would be nice to have all the movies have nightly showings tho instead of just a couple to choose from as matinee s arent doable with most work schedules. Outside of that..we love it.

Nice older theater with cheap movies and cold beer.

Temeka is a lovely quaint economical and happy place where you can see wonderful movies that you missed in the larger establishments. Half the ticket price! So great in these expensive times. I wont lie, the snack bar is fully stocked, many choices but theatres have to make a profit somehow hence, its a great place to take friends and family and you can feel going all alone. I highly recommend Temeku cinemas and there is also plenty of parking.

I have been watching movies here for 4 years. The staff is happy and helpful. I cannot give a 5 star rating because of the three times that something went wrong with the projector or sound. Yes, they did give out complementary tickets for another show, but the time set aside was lost. Another thing that I disagree with (even though I realize the huge profits) is the selling of alcohol at the theater where 50% of the customers are kids.Good popcorn too!

Not the biggest or the best theater you can go to however it is a very good Second Chance Theater. That being films that have slipped out of mainstream but are still viable oh, you can see theyre at a greatly reduced cost. I would definitely recommend going there

Good first run movies at a great price! Older style theatre but you cant beat $3.95 for a theatre movie!!! After a movie comes out of a major chain theatre it stops here before ppv or red box. Definitely worth it!!

Temeku Cinemas saved my date night. It was one of those times when all the new movies out were all a bust. They showed a older movie that had been out for a while but I had missed. Long story short I am so glad I got to see that movie in theaters. Its thirty minutes away from were I live but it was mostly freeway miles. Anyways thanks for the great end to my evening.

This theater is pretty decent for the price of the tickets. I know its the cheap seats for movies that are no longer in the other theaters, but Ive been to regular theaters that have been worse. The theater was pretty clean.The seats are the regular, uncomfortable, old-style movie theater seats (unlike the AMC theater nearby with the reclining, heated seats), but I cant complain for the price of the ticket ($4.75). Granted, I went on a Monday night, but its still much cheaper than any theater nearby, and they have a good selection of movies that I missed at the big theater.If you dont mind the old seating, then this theater is a great choice. The theater was almost empty on Monday. The movie quality was good and the sound decent. Ill be going back there to catch up on movies I missed at thebig screen.

Came in last night for the showing of The Goonies and it was great! Costumer Service was on point, fast and friendly. The lobby was open and clean, and popcorn was fresh.I enjoyed watching an old classic on the big screen. Its great that Temeku had nights where they show cult classics, bringing ppl together for a shared experience down memory lane!

Best low price theater, if not the only one in the valley, to see a film on the big screen after its initial run at pricier theatres... Less than half the price of the bigger initial run theatres. If you can wait to see a film weeks after its release, the savings is worth the wait!

This place has THE BEST movie popcorn in town! If you want the big screen experience and dont mind a theater that is a little older, youre going to save a fortune ($40-50 for a family of 4) on ticket prices and movie snacks as compared to the newer, larger movie theaters. Theres not a bad seat in the house. Take the $ youll save and hed down the street aboout 2 minutes to BJs for a pazookie (excellent dessert).

If you dont mind waiting a few weeks this is a great economical option to see new movies. The facilities are clean despite many of the patrons leaving huge messes after each movie. We went to see How to Train Your Dragon 3 and after the movie every isle was filled with spilled popcorn and drinks. What the heck people. Have some respect.

Temeku is a quaint and friendly theater that plays the great releases but still manages to maintain that small town quality we no longer feel anymore in larger chain theaters. When you walk in to Temeku you instantly feel.....back in time....at the local cinema....like everyone knows your name. And I dont know about you....but I find it very refreshing to not be a number....and to be treated like a neighbor. GREAT job Temeku Cinemas.YOU are FIRST rate!!!!

Affordable! The theater isn’t very large but that makes for a more intimate experience, although the seats are just a tad narrow, However, I had a great experience overall

Grand Daughter and I watched Lion King and Toy Story 4 the summer of 2019 clean and perfect temp to escape the heat during our stay in Marquette.

So here it is if you miss your favorite movie at the full price theater do not panic just head to Temeku Cinema, it is just as nice and clean as your other theaters but half the price they have a great selection of movies, refreshments, snacks and everything else you need. Staff Is extremely courteous and polite, And it’s pretty popular as the other theaters I love going there and I highly recommend this theater.

The price is right! I remember discount theaters when I was a kid, this isnt that; its way better! No stadium seating or leather recliners, just good, old fashioned movie theater seats. Less than $5 per ticket and junk food isnt terribly overpriced. Highly recommend!
