What we liked? Nice alternative to going to the actual vineyards. Stays open later than Vineyards for those who want a tasting after 5 pm during the week in Temecula. the sommelier was great. Answered all questions and chose wines for tasting based on what he learned of our individual preferences.What else we noticed that you might want to know about? Live music. We were there Thursday afternoon around 4:30 pm and a musician was performing in the background - nice touch. They also sell chocolate to accompany the wine and various wine paraphernalia.What we learned that newbies to the area might appreciate? They have a wine club that offers you 25% off all wine and 6 glasses per month at this location OR at the vineyard location. This is nice if you want to have a couple of glasses of wine before having dinner on Main Street!Why I rated it a 4? Only because this atmosphere would not be right for everyone. Wine tasting is done standing at a bar. The space is small but nice and very causal. For those looking for a more formal tasting atmosphere, this would not be it. I would have rated it a 5 if I believed it would really wow most patrons.Will we return? If we decide to join the tasting club, yes! And if I want to bring friends who’ve never had Lorimar wines, yes.

We popped in here ‘just to take a look’, it was incredible. Gabe was absolutely hilarious, extremely knowledgeable and very welcoming. The wines were delicious (I had the red selection) and we came away with four(!) bottles. I can not recommend this place enough; I had a wonderful time.

I started coming here about 7 years now and really enjoy my time at this location. Very relaxing environment with great art work and live music. The staff is wonderful and keeps me coming back for more. The wines are amazing, love the sauvignon blanc

Been a member for a while now, but really love the Loft because of Renee and Magda. This is like my Cheers! They really make you feel at home! Although the winery itself is wonderful (I love the people who work there, especially t Matt and Matt!) if it werent for Renee at the Loft, I may have dropped my membership by now.

It was our first time. Loved the music, wine and the cozy seating. Def be back. Maybe even tonight!

Great, small room wine tasting that really encompassed a wide range of unique flavors. The hostess was incredibly knowledgeable and the location is ticked away right off of the main street. Get here a little early around 12pm for a crowd free exclusive. Specials on the weekend also (print coupons before arriving).Tasting discounts are available at this tasting room, bottle discounts at the vineyard (no bottle discounts at tasting room or tasting discounts at vineyard), but if you ask nicely, you can get all the discounts at the downtown tasting room.

Lorimar Winery Loft is such a welcoming location Renee always has a smile on her face ready to great everyone. 2012 Medley - Meritage is my favorite any time a day wine.
