Great for families!! We went camping here in our Class A rv. They have full hook ups 30 amps, water, and sewer) and some partial (water and electricity only). Great views whichever site youre on!! Youll either have a view of the beautiful hillside, full of life! (cattle, donkeys, deer, quail, coyotes, and more!!), or of the lake, or both!! Clean, quiet, beautiful, and reasonable nightly rates!!!
This is a great campground. Full hookups if you need them. Spaces are very far apart leading to quiet. Views of the lake from almost every spot. Highly recommended.
Love this place when Im not with people to bug me love fishing here
Nice lake. Nice picnic area. 5 dollars for day use.
The lake is a beautiful place, the breeze, the water, there good temperature and the breeze is Absolutely wonderful, though it is quite sad you cannot swim in the amazing temperature water, but i hear that you can drink the water! Amazing!
The place is incredible looking forward to go camping there waking up next to the lake
Very quiet electric and water hook ups but no dump. Camp host is an amazing person! Super friendly and helpful. Lake is for drinking water so fishing is OK, but NO swimming humans or pets!
The spots are large and open. I see water hook ups in most sites. Beautiful hills. The lake is a no swimming but boats are allowed.
The restrooms are very clean and the shower heads works great.
I think its a great campground I loved my spot number 25 dry camping spot The only thing I didnt like which is no fault of the campground is that it was windy every single day
Campsites are great, theyreclean and well maintained. Camp host are awesome too
Very relaxing, fresh air, great views & a hiking trail. Childrens playground & quite a bit of room for children to run & play.
Have to walk a bit to get there. Soft landing on 2 sides of the 4 sides. Nice fishing. Do NOT SWIM HERE. great for picnics and fising trips. And for those who are cooped up yes its been open the whole time... darn coivd.
Its gotten. Better
Very nice. Was hoping to speak with the camp host
5 dollars for day use was inappropriate for this so called rec lake. Perhaps in winter or spring but all I saw was algae and dead fish.
Had a good 4th of July picnic.
I love coming to this place. Its so peaceful and the people are so wonderful. The restrooms are clean and the showers too, only one problem and thats the 4 stars, no little store. No place to pickup any last minute or things you forgot stuff!!! Good lake
It is a very beautiful camp ground. The lake is stocked like it used to be but if you just want a nice camp ground with a lake view, it has it. The back drop of the mountains is also beautiful. There is no swimming on the lake but you can bring a small boat with an electric trolling motor. I live in the area but Im thinking of doing some camping here.
Clean.great host.fish filled lake.return visitors
We camped, it couldve been better. We had are dogs and they are annoying.Im a cat person.
Fun little lake
It alrighttiny its more of a pond
I use to ride my horse there. It was a lot of fun. Yes, the rules are for everyone!!!! Please remember the surrounding community uses Brite Lakes water as there drinking water. No swimming. No dogs are allowed to swim either!!! Otherwise, this park creates a very positive experience for each individual as well as the family.
A great destination to stop and enjoy an easy weekend. The lake is well stocked with trout and has bass and catfish also. Camp hosts are super friendly and keep the campground clean.
Quiet and peaceful campground. Great people!
Nice little area to fish!
Beautiful, Peaceful & Secluded.
Pleasant surprise! We stayed here the last night of our cross country trip. Secured site #7 with trees, electric and water hookups, and a view of the lake. Quiet and serene and the hosts are very friendly and accomadating
Nice family lake with playground
Perfect place to fish
Nice and peaceful
Super fun
My first time ever camping with family there
Always enjoy the beauty of the area very well kept
Rangers here now kicking out fishermen at 8:00pm
Quiet, clean, and very relaxing. The only downside is no dump anymore unless you get one of the few sites for RV hookup.
Nice place but rules are not enforced. Many trailers in the full hookups never move. Hopefully they can get their stuff together and make people follow the rules. If not I will be filling a complaint. If the rules were for everyone I would have rated higher.
Caught a decent sized trout here. Use a small minnow sized piece of garlic colored powerbait no. 18 treb.
Very nice thank you well be back
Nice place to camp in Tehachapi. Good for kayaks and small fishing boats, just electric motors only.
So peaceful

Brite is quiet and beautiful.
If no ones there its a nice spot. Gets crowded fast and too rowdy at times.
Ima give this lake 1 star. Showed up no ranger was working so I had to ask a camper what to do . Went back filled up a slip with the wrong date put my 5 dollars in and went fishing. I took my kids 11 10 4 and 2 year old so we took a tiny tent bcuz it was pouring rain but we wanted to fish . So we set up and started fishing didnt catch anything . The ranger lady shows up and tells us we cant have a tent up so we explained were not camping we drove over 1 hr to get here we just want to make sure the kids are ok in the rain and close by. She wanted us to move our tent about 100 feet upwards . So I said fine we will. Besides the campers we were the only ppl there . So I gather the rods and tell my husband what needs to be done . She then says shes going to wait there till we move the tent to do it now. Like woman do you not see the pouring rain I need to get my kids in the car b4 I move anything. We packed up & left
Its a nice quiet little lake
Bathrooms are always in need of service but sites are clean and sometimes you catch fish! Trees are sooo co ol l especially those that have been carved!
Great place to just get away with the kids
I didnt visit this place. I met a friend near by.
Head a lot of fun.
Fishing is usually sorry and the rangers there are rude. Gotta pay 5 bucks for nothing special
We just got here from Arkansas,so far nice, your not cramped up,nice big spots, friendly folks
Plenty of sites, some right on the lake (too windy lakeside when we visited, and no hookups, if you care--we dont). Camp hosts were a pleasure. Not crowded at all, and well priced ($20 for water & electric hookups, $12 for no hookups). I imagine it could get crowded on summer weekends but was about 1/3 full on a Friday night in early April.
Beautiful views great camping
Fun and cooler than in town
Quiet and lake is perfect for kayaks
Wish they let you bring your pets
Beautiful
