There is lots of shade right near the playground, and a walking path around the big field. Its well taken care of and clean. There is also fishing and ducks at the pond on the east side. The dog park is very friendly, and dog owners are good about keeping dogs on leashes and up to date on shots. Ive never seen any problems at this park, we love it. The playground is good for all ages.

This is a very nice park! Clean easy to get to. Big! But I’m also very disappointed in the rules! I’m from Minnesota was traveling back from California. And I’ve never seen a park with as many rules. And cash grab!!! And these rules and extra money shouldn’t be necessary. To keep it a flow. In my opinion. I’ve been to mush nicer parks for free!

Great park with a family environment. Its open and the playground is open. Dog park and as always the people are always extremely friendly. Some fishing on the backside as well. Definitely recommend this park if you want to get away from the city parks. This one is perfect for families and animals.

I love this place,because its dog friendly. There are a lot of things you can do there. Its right by the Jordan river park. Its clean its just really cool. Enjoy it if you can.

The parking is very close and the park has easy access and is laid out very nice or would that be well? They have two small areas as you enter the park for aggressive or timid dogs on either side and then the main Park all the dogs mixed together and there is a lot of shaded seating trees tunnels just a lot of things to keep the dogs busy in the park seems to be full of nice people and nice animals, if there is such a thing

Just recently moved to utah and am looking for a good dog park so me and my dog cruise up here just to find out you need a tag to get in. Never in my life have I seen something like that. I couldnt even take her in the dog park. Also where do you even get the tags from. There wasnt a small dog area and a big dog area. It was pretty small for a dog park and to have all of those dogs mixed in. Just seemed random for the dog park to even be near a soccer field too. Ill be on the lookout for a better dog park that I can atleast take my dog in. :))))

Great park and playground next to the Jordan River Trail and with an adjoining fenced off dog park. Has a fishing area, with a fish cleaning station, 2 pavilions, and 2 pickle ball courts as well.

Great park design. Lots of benches and trees all around that provide shade for the kids playing. Dog park there too. Awesome place!

A hidden gem. Awesome dog park. Very spacious yet cozy for a park. Very clean and the restroom facilities are accessible. Not too crowded and fun for the family. Parking is great. A cute pickle ball court.

Love how its taken care of but just took my dog for a walk Tuesday 7/14/20 while they had the dog park closed for cleaning, and near the fishing dock was unseen broken glass. My poor little guy cut is two front feet. We were going each day sometimes twice a day and now he cant go out which has been so hard on my little guy, he misses his buddies and loves the park. Were looking forward to getting back once hes all better.

The playground is fun for my son, and its a nice clean park. I really enjoy the dog park, but the reason Im giving the park only 4 stars instead of 5 is because for some reason the dog park is closed on Tuesdays. Thats very annoying. I know I just need to remember not to drive there on Tuesdays, but sometimes I forget and its very irritating to drive all the way there, have my dog go bananas with excitement, and then realize its Tuesday.

Great loop around the park, spacious field, and tennis courts. I rollerbladed around the park. The playground at the park is fun to roller blade around.Theres a ton of Pokemon Go Pokestops here too.

Got to go for a beautiful stroll with my older children and grandbaby! It was warm and not too crowded.

Love taking both my kids and dogs here. It is never really packed unless there is a party at the pavilion and even then its not bad. Has a large grass field, A pond to fish in, A park for the kids and a dog part which is great. It has always been clean when we go and the bathrooms a in decent shape for being public restrooms. This is our go to park because of the location and the options available to the family so everyone has something to do.

This park is great and nice that you can access jordan river and the parkway. Its unfortunate that the dog park requires a license from the city though :(

Great, big, fenced area for letting the pups run. Trail around the park is nice too. Only once has there been aggressive dogs, and I dont think their owner will be back after I lost my patience with them. Animal control does visit. Only negative thing is the grass is not healthy in the fenced area, understandably so, and the sprinklers make mud puddles.

This is a great dog park. Its not as big as some others, but it still has plenty of space to run and play. Poop bags are provided (PLEASE pick up after your dog!) and a water fountain and bow for your thirsty pup. Dogs seemed to be better behaved here than at other parks.

Great place to take your dog! Good park for off leash and nice side trail. They have smaller one on one renced areas if you pup is not friendly with other dogs. Good place for family with bathrooms and picnic areas with grills.

Its a decent park. The only reason it misses 5 stars is because it floods after a rainstorm or when the snow is melting. But theres a playground right across the way that kids play at. Pretty nice overall.

Love this doggo park. 5 foot maybe even 6 foot fences feel a lot safer when you have a giant dog than the 3 foot fences at some of the other parks. Large and well maintained, some cool obstacles and stuff for the pups to play in and around. Running water and lots of bowls, usually poop bags on site.

Great fun at this park!Its right next to the Jordan River Trail and horse trail, and theres a good dog park, so very animal friendly.Its got a couple pavilions, restrooms, and water fountains.Theres a huge field for frisbee or catch, some nets up for net sports, and of course a playground.Theres always some parking available.I like to come here with my friends and my dog, definitely recommend.

Great place to take the kids. Theres a great walking trail just across the river and a fishing pond that they stock with catfish just a short walk north of the playground.

Smaller than West Jordan dog park. Its like half as large ish. But it seems to have about $20 in lisencing fees to be able to bring your dog here. Which is to from appearance prove you have a rabies free dog. And to pay for animal control people to come keep an eye on things. A lot less people but maybe around here... Thats a good thing.

Super clean and has a fantastic walking trail. The playground equipment is great for all ages and the dog park is great.

Horrible dog park, just stopped letting my wife and our dog in because he doesn’t have a taylorsville city tag? City needs to stop this, what is this? A private dog park? Park is built and maintained by our tax money, now we have to pay more for a tag and renew it every year? No thanks. We will take our dog to other dog parks and don’t pay for this Nonsense

Being located next to an off the leash dog park, it is even more common than in most parks to see dogs roaming about off the leash. Apparently their owners dont understand the difference between the two parks, despite the signs and fences and a big parking lot delineating the difference.Other than that, and very nice park with multiple access walkways into the neighborhoods to the north and west, if you want to change up your route a little.

Its a fairly clean, well-maintained park. Theres a large open field great for games like frisbee or flag football. The playground is good for most kids ages 5+. Theres also the dog park, which is a great place for dogs and their owners to hang out. There are some areas with grass and a fair number of trees, but most of the dog park is dirt, so if your dog is particularly clean, you may not want to bring them here.

Great dog park! Clean, well taken care of, not too busy. Theres lots of Grass field outside the dog park, covered area with plenty of tables and restrooms, theres some courts for games, and trail/walkways that go around the park and continue past the park across the river. I love this place.

Tennis court, dog park, walking trail, plenty of field space, restrooms, parking spaces. There is a footbridge that crosses over the Jordan River to Germania Park. Lovely little area!

Its okay. You have to pay to use the dog park but its closed all the time to the public so you are better off taking your pup on a free riverside walk thats located next to the dog park. The dog park can get really muddy, and people have recently been pretty bad about picking up their dogs poop. There is a glass recycling dumpster in the other parking lot. All in all I prefer the Midvale dog park down the road as its free and always open.

Nice little Park Ill take my dog to the dog park once I can get everything that makes him be able to qualify to go there. Need to jump through a bunch of hoops in order to allow a non-resident dog to go there.

Well taken care of. The park has a great playground with trees around it. Nice paved path all the way around.

This is a nice, huge park. There are 2 covered pavilions, and a separately fenced dog park. The only downside is that they do not have a splash pad.

There are not as many fish as I read online and Im pretty sure I kept catching the same page over and over again.

Roomy park with running water. The landscaping is maintained but there are lots of weeds in some areas of the park that leave thorns and thistles in dogs fur. Also some owners come in, let their dog off lease, sit down and let their dog potty, fight, dig without paying any attention to them. Not the fault of the park, but of the owners.

Probably the only park in the state that does this. Wow, we have been to every dog park in the city and you have to have a license through Taylorsville to take your dog? There are signs but not prominent enough, I dont really read signs at dog parks anymore because they are usually all the same. We were there for 10 minutes before getting a ticket because we didnt have tags through Taylorsville. Why go here when there are tons of better places throughout the valley that you dont have to pay for.

This place is awesome!!!! Its an unleashed dog park, and your fur babies will love it.They have obstacles, and gazebos for us humans. It even has 2 private fenced areas for those doggies who arent very social.My fur babies love coming here, this park is for the entire family as its also a park with trails and playground.Lots of parking, and garbage for dog waste. They have baggies too.One of my babies is really social, the other one isnt but he loves loves going to the park and playing or walking around.Remember to pick up after your doggie.

This is the only one dog park closed on sunday. Sunday when people have time to go out with your dog, the park is closed. they never have poop bags. On tuesdays they are closes too.

Great park but we have gone 3 times around 6pm (signs and google say open until 8pm or 10pm depending on day) and its locked with chains. Super frusterating because next park is 25 min drive time away. Whats the deal Taylorsville?!

A nice park with plenty of options... just make sure to reserve it in advance... its looks like its usually pretty busy.

Great outdoor place

Stopped to have a picnic with the family while in Vegas. Great park to let your little ones play and eat. We grabbed some pizza and drinks and had a great time here.

Company picnic! Hot dogs, baked beans, drinks, various side dishes, and a Raffle! Fun prizes! Rainy at the end, but a nice time to mingle with others!

The enclosed dog park is great but sadly a lot of the dog owners still dont clean up after their dogs despite there being plenty of bag dispensers and convenient garbage cans. The hours listed are also wrong as the gate closes at dusk, not 10pm as listed on here. It also is closed Sunday until 4pm.

This park is well maintained, and has everything you want in a park and more.

Its a nice dog park, and your dog needs a special dog tag to use this part there is an officer that checks up regularly and will fine you if you do not have the tag that you get at the Taylorsville City Hall I believe its about $15 a year. If you go just east of the park across the bridge theres a very nice River Walk that goes north or south your fur baby should be on a leash there but you dont need a special tag

Great park, I dont like the sod nor lack of grass. Lots of weeds filled with ugly goat head stickers that hurt sensitive paws but its a spacious area. I like the fact that there are separated areas for dogs to train in socializing before introducing them to the main area but you have to purchase local tags which is silly and hours that the park is open for is a little annoying but its an over all decent dog park experience.
