Seats are wide, comfortable and recline. During the pandemic, I see every employee masked, gloved and practicing distancing. They have concession deals and a good variety of items considering these trying times. Theater itself is never too hot or cold, clean and (now) sanitized after every show.As an added bonus their rewards program is excellent and the paid version is less than $10 a month. So if you go to a movie at least once a month, its worth it.

(Southland Mall, Taylor)I like Cinemark As my chosen place for when I want to watch new movie(s) that comes out in theaters. I like the fact the place is always super clean and tidy, also, they offer A variety of different selection(s) of snacks and better food items to choose from, but, of course, it can get quite pricey in the pocket tho... But, is to be expected, if you dont spending A little extra change to have A great ol time (Laughs ).

I know it just open back up but 1 person only working the concessions stand on a Saturday night is unacceptably bad service. Only a couple people in a line took over 20minutes plus to get popcorn.

Felt good to see a movie again. The staff was polite and people were wearing masks.

Watched Annabelle Returns Home. Good ending for 3rd installment. The theater was nice, cool and clean. The staff were very nice, patient and friendly

Always clean, friendly staff, great experience all around. Important factors when deciding to go out to the movies, which is rare for us. Maybe once or twice a year due to cost. They do however have a subscription where you get a free ticket a month (cost of subsciption is $8)- plus a ton of discounts. Unused tickets transfer over and never expire. So if you wait 5 months and go youll have 5 tickets. Great for someone who goes to the movies more than once a year.

Very nice new theater! Its comfortable and a very nice place. My only comment to improve would be if they had another bathroom down the theater hall instead of just one out front. BUT it is fine, not a big deal just a thought!

Movie was loud. Speakers on Both sides of the wall. The seats move so that way you can watch the movie any way you like. That way you can get the best possable experience. The popcorn needed more better

Prices on snacks are like a weekly grocery store cost.Tickets are already costly.Dollar shows are non-existent so there isnt another choice in downriver.3 stars for friendly staff.Honestly, its best to sneak in candy, or food from home and save the rest for a rainy day fund.Price gouging sucks!

My favorite movie theater to go. The stores are close by to buy snacks i love this theater because it not far from the bus stop and great seats to relax i recommend to see movies early bird on weekday to pay $5 ticket for regular room

I love this theater. My son loves that he can lay back in the chairs with his feet up. They have wonderful choices at the concession stand. With having recliners you dont have to worry about kids putting their feet on your seat or kicking them. It is a wonderful place for a family.

My daughter and I like this better than MJR. Smaller and closer. Seats are comfortable. Seems like the points system is better too on the app

Great and clean movie theater but when majority of the bathroom stalls are like this, its a simple fix. Flip the lock mechanism onto the stall wall and have the door be by itself. Since the doors open into the stall. Very uncomfortable when people are walking by and the door pops open

We saw the star wars movie. I have never been a star wars fan. Im a trekkie. It was a very good no great movie. The seats are crazy comfortable too.

We took the all the grandkids here to see the Frozen 2 movie. Clean establishment. Movie was excellent and the snacks were wonderful.

I really in nice clean, friendlie, convenient, good movie theater. It is in a centralized area for surrounding people that want to catch a movie. And they also have great deals when you signed up with their rewards program.

Great theater. IMAX is state if the art and the sound system is amazing. Concessions are a bit pricey.

Also waived online fees so you can skip the ticket purchase line and go straight to the ticket stub line and have them scan your app and then go right in, super convenient! It says Ive saved over $200 dollars since Ive joined movie club! (Dont judge, I love going to the movie theater lol its my favorite thing to do)

For being a new theater, it seemed a little messy. Good service. The popcorn was lathered in butter and was not salty.

After multiple visits we still really like this theater. Seating is comfortable and clean. Concessions has a good variety of food. Bathrooms are good for the amount of traffic in them. Employees are all friendly and helpful. I like being able to pick my seats which makes watching longer movies that much easier. Their club helps save a couple of dollars, especially if you go to the concession area.

My husband and I are a young couple with a five yr old son. We do no go to the movies often. When buying tickets yesterday we are asked to pick seats. The people working the ticket booth had no work ethic. Never got asked if we ever had been to this theater. No assistants with picking our seats. My husband was scrambling and they just watch like its funny. So my husband picks out seats and we go sit for the Lion King. To find out we are second row from the front. Way too close. It made me sick. It was the worst experience. Never once did they ask if it was OK to sit that close. Only one other person was asking customers if sitting close was okay. Well we didnt get asked so I figured we were good... And the smell of this place is like vomit. I give 2 stars because my son had fun. But as for us adults. Worst experience ever. Wont ever go back. Terrible services. Even the snack line was out of control. We are in line and get yelled at by employees to move to another line.... As we are trying to pick out candy...ill never return.

I really like this Cinema, but it is crazy expensive. Any of them are anymore. Its sad you cant take your family too even a movie now without saving to do so.

Went to see the new Fast and Furious movie. Theater is nice and clean. Me and my date missed the movie at the other theater. They were the only theater open so late at night it was great.

If i could give it zero stars i would. I used to enjoy cinemark. However, lately Management is not only horrible but also rude (but the workers have been wonderful. Poor workers having to deal with bad management). Ill be going to another theatre from now on.

This place is amazing I’ve been here for every movie that came out I never went to any other movie theatre besides this one the staff are awesome the movies are 1000% HD once I ordered a pizza that they said they had to cook and it came out less than 20 seconds this place is like no other. The seats are so comfortable the rows are so cheap not in a bad way but the food is amazing especially the Hershey’s cookie thing but I would rate this a 10 star

The sound system in the XD theater was damn nice. The concession stand left something to be desired. Like a drink. Carrier and popcorn in a timely manner.

Cinemark is a really nice theater, but I rarely go here anymore because of the $3.50 service fee per ticket. MJR is a much better value.

This is my FAVORITE theater. I live literally 2 minutes from another movie theater but my go to place is Cinemark. I am in the Cinemark movie club and I get one free ticket a month and discounts on the other tickets and points to go towards freebies! Love the reclining comfortable chairs and the size of the theaters. Definitely would recommend to anyone.

Spent $5 on each ticket, expecting a regular movie. It turned out that all the seats reclined, they had foot rests and cupholders, and we got to choose our seats. Great service also. Good selection for snacks.

Last time I was there I dropped my keys in the seat. It was full of popcorn and trash and candy. Surprised they dont have a rat problem. The bad part was it was the first showing of the day. Staff is friendly and popcorn tastes good. Other than that I gave it 2 stars for filth. The theater crew made excuses for the condition of the theater

Bathrooms were not clean, leg rest of my chair was partially broke..... It was decent besides that. Ill go with MJR Southgate or AMC Woodhaven next time though.

Im going to keep this comment short and truthful.A-1 SERVICE FROM THE POINT WHERE YOU BUY THE TICKET(S) TO THE CONCESSION STATION, TO THE SEATS IN THE THEATER WITH THE SAME FEELING AS THE RECLINER AT YOUR HOUSE.1.) DOWNFALL TO THE MOVIES: 1.) Spending $50+ dollars for two people to watch the movie and to have a popcorn box to share. Then 2 48oz fountain sodas to drink.2.) Why is it if cigarettes and medical marijuana are legal you cant have and area of the theater where people who smoke can enjoy a big screen movie and a cigarette or jibber. You could charge more and business would DOUBLE!!!! GUARANTEED!!!!!!!!!!

This is our FAVORITE theater. We are a member of the rewards club, we go every week. Love the salt dust too, and the slinky fries. Staff isnt always very quick, but we still love the place.

Typically I love this place and have great experiences here, we live in Taylor and frequent this theatre at least twice a month. Unfortunately tonight at 1130pm half way through the movie I tried to go and get a popcorn and cherry icee. I passed another customer who just got a popcorn refill. I get to the register to order a small popcorn and cherry icee and the guy behind the register tells me they are closed and I cannot order. There is another movie that starts at midnight, does thatean they cannot have any snacks for that movie? Also the popcorn machine was half full of popcorn... Does that just tossed in the trash then? I really want some yummy popcorn rite now....

My first choice for movies, love the popcorn and the staff are always nice. Just a small request, please clean behind the last row where folks like to leave their garbage and it will start to smell. Thank you.

Pack your patience when you go here. Theyre always understaffed and the employees move really slow. Its a decent movie theater though for the area but if I had a choice I would go somewhere with better customer service. If you need a refill on your popcorn you will miss a lot of your movie. So go ahead and order the large. In comparison MJR gives you refills on the kids pack when Cinemark only does it on the large and the customer service is much better. You can put the white cheddar or popcorn toppings on it yourself For free at MJR but Cinemark sells it.MJR has a better rewards program.

Theater has nice comfy reclining seats and assigned seating. They offer different ranges of experiences ranging from normal showings to their bigger screen, better sound showings and of course 3D. Usual pricing for concessions as youd expect. Right next to Southland Mall so shopping before or after a show is a possibility as well.

Love cinemark, employees are great and fast very is kids friendly and thats why I always go there..

Love this theater, staff is awesome, tickets are reasonable, snack bar is expensive. It cost more for a large popcorn and large icee than the tickets to see the movie. But its nice, seats are comfy and the theater is very clean.

Its a nice place, but very expressive. Tickets are about $15 each. People will trash the theater and then leave their messes for the staff to clean up. Props to the staff for always making sure the theater is clean. 4 stars because its just your average theater but its over priced.

A fantastic newer theater with modern amenities. Staff could learn to move the concession lines faster, but thats a mild complaint.
