I have been a member of the Freedom Boat Club of Tampa Bay for eight years and have enjoyed all of them. The team at the Tarpon Springs location due a great job! I also have had the opportunity to utilize other locations but, Tarpon is the one I use most often. I recently utilized one of the boats to go offshore fishing with my wife and we experienced an event of a lifetime. We came across a Whale Shark and spent 20 minutes just watching it and the entire eco system that lived around it. An amazing event we will never forget!

It is always a joy to get out on the water and the staff is just great at getting the boats ready and sending you off. The big issue is booking ahead and getting the right kind of boat for the experience. You gotta learn what the various types of boats do best, which ones are in the best condition, and then book the one you want well in advance! Weather permitting, you will have a perfect day!

Just joined the club in October and loving it so far. Boating made easy and hassle free. The staff at Tarpon today was super friendly and helpful. We had a similar excellent experience last week out of Clearwater. Having a great time exploring the inter coastal waterways and nearby islands and beaches. If you’re not sure you want to own a boat look into joining Freedom. Really glad we joined.

Absolutely glorious day. If you have not been it is stunning. The Greek Independence Day Celebration. We brought 8 friends and all of them were blown away and want to join. The Freedom Boat Club all locations are amazing. We have not had one problem. The crew as always white glove.

Love living the carefree salty lifestyle. Staff is great! Boats are being repaired and exchanged soon for newer fleet. Covid-19 delayed process but management is committed and we are thankful to have this recreational opportunity! We dont keep our boat there, but we did have lunch at Captain Jacks restaurant. The food was good, so were the drinks and it was nice to sit outside on the water!

One of the best decisions weve ever made. We are weekday members. Reservations are easy to make, we have boated from 9 locations. Dockmasters are friendly and helpful. Goodbye individual boat ownership.

Good boat (23ft Seafox) but took about 15 minutes to get access to it after arriving at the dock. The dock crew was great upon return.

I love this club.The shear number of locations alone should make the membership decision a no brainer. My GF and I have gone boating out of over 20 locations through out Tampa Bay & the rest of the country. Heres a picture taken from the pacific ocean looking at San Diago.

I sent a request for information and for about 15 spam emails. Every time I asked to speak someone I was told to call but never received a call back. I had a few people recommended joining, but if I can’t even get a return phone call I’m not certain I would trust this is legit. Disappointed to say the least.

Our sales executive Drew Moon was very friendly and welcoming. He was extremely knowledgeable and patient and answered all our questions. We are thrilled to be Freedom members and are looking forward to years of carefree time on the water.

The only regrets you will have about joining the Freedom Boat Club is not doing it sooner! This beats the headaches, hassles, and astronomical expenses that come with being a single boat owner . The initial one time membership fee and the monthly dues are WELL worth the money without a doubt.I am a new member based in Tarpon Springs. So far the Dock crew at Tarpon have been fantastic. Very friendly, helpful and professional and well worth a generous gratuity at the end of the day.I recently took a boat from the Johns Pass location and the dock and office crew there were also great! Im for sure impressed with the quality of the boats, the many boat type options at each location, the ease of making reservations on their App or Web site and the whole freedom boat club experience so far.It feels good now when friends and associates ask me Do you have a boat and I tell them NO, I have 200 boats and I paid under $5,000 for them including storage, insurance, and maintenance. The shocked look on their faces is priceless. and then I explain how awesome the Freedom Boat Club option is. FBC life is the good life!

Good location with friendly and efficient staff. Being this a major hub, at times they get swamped with members going out or returning all at once, but they always manage to come up on top! The boats here are generally less pristine than in other locations, but they sure take a lot of use and abuse.

They team does an outstanding job and are super friendly.

We have been members since the very beginning. Obviously, we are extremely happy with Freedom 10+ years. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 are fellow members that have no clue or simply dont care with how they care for the boats. The dockmasters and teams are awesome and help any way they can. Kudos to Capt. Dean!!!

My wife and I have been members of this club for about two years. From our point of view, here are the pros and cons.The pros:* Cheaper then owning your own boat* We like the flexibility of having access to a flats boat, a pontoon boat, hurricane, a ski boat, and even a center console boat big enough to go several miles out fishing.* Don’t have to trailer or launch the boat. They have it waiting and ready for you at the dock.* Feels good to hand them the keys at the end of the day and not have to worry about cleaning up the boat.* Boats are never more than three years old and are typically in very good condition.* The few dockhands that we have met at the various locations have all been extremely friendly and helpful.* Should the boat ever break down (which has not happening to us), the boat club would have you towed in at no additional expense to you.The cons:* As you could assume, scheduling a boat on the weekend during the summer season can be challenging to find an opening on short notice.* If you want to go out on the weekend you would typically need to plan and reserve weeks in advance.* If you like a boat with all the toys such as power poles and trim tabs then you would have to own your own boat.* If you would occasionally like to experience a nice sunset you would not be able to do it on these boats. All boats need to be returned before it gets dark.We continue to have a very positive experience with freedom boat club. We would recommend it to friends and family.

Captain Joe was awesome. I feel confident in my knowledge of how to safely and properly operate a boat upon completing my orientation. The boat was great, the staff was helpful and courteous. I highly recommend Freedom Boat Club of Tampa Bay!!!

Was very learey about joining a boat club. My wife did it as a surprise for Christmas and i am glad she did. We have had a blast. If you get a day during the week you can get a boat almost anywhere. On weekends you need to plan ahead but its pretty easy. Also gets you out of alot of new places we would not have seen without the boat club. Most good, some we will not go back too, not bad just not our flavor. The boats come with basic electronics so dont expect high end stuff. Overall great bang for the buck. We have owned boats for more than 20yrs and this is the easiest way to go.

Guys at the dock were super helpful. Got me on the boat right away without any hassle. But was clean and ran well. Great experience on the water. I recently left another Boat Club and joined this one. I think I made a great choice.

I use my Freedom Boat Club often and am out enjoying the water around our Tampa Bay region. From Crystal River to Tierra Verde, the Freedom Boat Club has marinas for members to use. Boats are new, clean and plentiful. Dock staff have the boat ready to use when you arrive at the dock. From fishing to cruising to island hopping, this is the best way to go boating in my opinion. No need to have a truck and trailer for me and no boat ramp traffic on Saturday mornings either.

Good selection of boats. Staff is always willing to help. Wish they had a flats boat that is set up with power pole to save time anchoring; and a center console set up with top notch electronics, to hit the local reefs. Great concept if you dont want the hassle of owning a boat. Show up, the staff helps you load and unload your stuff. No clean up necessary. Cant beat it!!

The dock crew at Tarpon Springs are great. They all have a great attitude and are always willing to go the extra mile to help out whether it’s answering questions or giving a little extra docking practice

Love the club but needs a location in New Port Richey and safety harbor. Would love to see ski poles added to the deck boats on lake tarpon but the boats with this club are top notch and all dock masters take great care of the boats and make sure your informed on everything you need to know to boat safely. Definitely the best boat club and best time to get in as they grow to perfection.

The dock master for Freedom Boat Club was knowledgeable and had my boat ready when I got there. I didnt have a reservation but called them up and sure enough to had a boat for me. I was able to get a half a day of fishing in and they gave me some good info on where to fish and we went through 3 dozen shrimp and popped more than 40 fish! We were catching jack crevalle and sea catfish. Every now and again we would hook into something else. Only got back in they washed off my poles and help me unload the boat and took exceptional care of us! they told us what we had weather coming in and we just beat it in as we pulled up to the docks and had an excellent day of fishing on the Tarpon Springs docks area along the islands at the inlet. we were able to walk over and buy our bait right next door to the Freedom Boat Club and the live shrimps were huge. Highly recommend this spot! Great parking and a nice restraunt right at the docks, or go over to the sponge docks and have a Greek dinner! Shop and enjoy!

We checked in and got our boat. The personnel were very helpful and got us on the water quickly. We had a great morning on the water and when we returned they brought us a cart to carry our stuff to parking. great attitude and interested in us having a great experience.

My wife and I have been members of Freedom Boat Club of Tampa for just over a year. We have taken boats out from their location in Tarpon springs several times, but this time we had even better than the usual good experience. We had not been boating for over 6 months so felt really rusty on boating skills. The staff and Dockmaster Mike made us feel very comfortable. They gave us great instruction on boat operation and local conditions. We had a great time on the water, the boat was clean and in excellent condition. When we returned I had lots of questions which they answered in detail and added information on other topics as well. With staff like that it is no wonder that the boat club has grown so quickly. We came away feeling valued as members and looking forward to our next boating experience at Tarpon Springs.

The crew in Tarpon Springs is excellent, weve been there several times and theyre always right there to help, friendly and courteous. This is one of the best things about FBC.

We will never own a boat again after enjoying the convenience of this boat club.

I love the boat club. Were on our 3rd month of membership and are loving the process. Its so much less of a hastle than actually owning the boat. The simplicity of just arriving at dock, loading, and enjoying your day without the worry of the post-process, is absolutely worth it. With so many available docking locations you can pretty much guarantee youll have a boat whenever you want.If youve been on the fence about the whole thing like we were, just get it. Youll soon be saying why the heck did I wait so long for, trust me.

That restaurant was amazing the food was very delicious,full of flavor and the waitresses they are awesome.
