Attended the Cocktails & Couture Fashion Show. It was amazing! I had a blast with all of the lovely people there. Meet new people and enjoy every designers collection. And the live performances had me SCREAMING!!!! Great show!!! Cant wait until next year!

Its a great place the first few times, but starts to feel like the same thing every weekend. Still always have a good time though!

I have not had any issues in the multiple times I have been to this venue, but trying to get a table for an event tomorrow has been the most inadequate display of customer service I have experienced. Additionally, the venues representative for making table reservations should be relieved from their position. I state this because my friend has maintained constant communication via email and phone calls, and we suddenly get told all the tables are sold out all of a sudden. This individual does not care about taking care of their customers. It is unacceptable; the venue allows this person to represent their company. By far, the worst experience I have had trying to get bottle service.

Great place to see a show! Sound and lights are on point, smoking lounge is smoky unless the doors are open, plenty of bars to get served bathrooms are nicer than expected. bathroom attendant at a heavy metal show? You bet with lots of cologne from the 70s to give it a weird vibe. Ybor city, need we say more?

Awesome venue! Staff was nice sound and lighting amazing. Went to see G-Rex though Bernz was my favorite! Cant wait to go back especially when drum n bass will be in the house

Its a Wonderful Club the music is good the atmosphere is great the bartenders security manager they treat your customer really good an old a beautiful woman and go there I have no complaints I go all the time if you ever in town stop by you have a great time you wont regret it

EDM ONLY REVIEW. If anyone mid level to main stream is head lining then deff hit it up. Plan for a 3 HR min stay could take 6 to 8 hour Round tRiP if planned correctly. Remember to stay with ur group [OR] need anyone getting GOT! Keep all objects inside the ride at all times and MOST importantly HYDRATION IS . ENJOY!

Always good music but its funny how before you werent allowed to wear a face mask inside and now its a requirement. Hope it stays that way even after covid. Masks are a big accessory in the EDM scene.

Went to see Thievery Corporation there. Very nice venue to see a band up close and personal. Staff was very courteous and quick with getting us drinks. However drinks are a little expensive. 12$ cocktail & 5$ waters. But they have to make a living I guess. Overall game them 4 stars. Love the red room and thanks for the keeping the pole up.

The Ritz still rocks. We went recently to see The Crystal Method and had a blast. After all these years, they still manage to consistently get the best shows of any relatively small venue in the Tampa Bay area. My only gripe is that they should tell you BEFORE you take your $5 bottle of tap water outside to temporarily escape the cigarette smoke that you wont be able to bring it back in.

Such an unique venue with smoking rooms and lounges opposite the main stage. Has a bit of an older Floridian feel to it. And the shows were amazing

I had the wonderful opportunity of attending the Ritz thanks to the annual Screamers Ball (Howl-O-Scream wrap up party for the season) event. This was the first year the event was held here at this venue and this was my first time attending the event. The event was a costume party held in November in Ybor City. How fun is that!! I went as my clown cosplay character, BuBBleS. It was strange walking down the street in Ybor city as a clown alone in the evening. The venue was large in size with a lot of different rooms with different activities going on. There was plenty of security around, so I felt safe.The reason why I am leaving a 3 Star review is because the drinks were way overpriced, not strong, horrible air control, very humid inside, and not much seating available to enjoy a conversation. The sound quality in room was great with loud bass though. The lack of A/C that evening was killing the vibe of the event. A lot of people had to walk outside to cool off.I was very disappointed in the drinks though with a high cost with not enough alcohol. The event was great, but I was not a fan of this venue.

Sabrina Claudio was perfection. The venue is run down, dirty and unkept. I wouldn’t go back unless it’s the only place the performer was going to.Drinks were OUTRAGEOUS!

Always love going here on Friday nights. I would recommend getting drinks from here. While its a bit on the pricier side, it is very much worth it.

Lotta fun here! Venue was clean and fun. Not very good enforcement tho. One dude got pretty rowdy and heated when I was last here, security didnt really do much of anything to deescalate. Otherwise, would go again!

I made sure I had both my name and my boyfriend’s name on the waitlist in advance for tonight’s event. We were in line well before 11 to guarantee my admission would be free. By the time we got through the line, it was just a couple minutes past 11pm and they would not honor our free admission. We had to pay full price. Had my free admission been honored, I would have bought drinks and further invested in this establishment. Because that is not the way it went, I did not have enough cash to pay for drinks.

Great place for a show. Great sound. Good viewing areas and usually a good pit, if youre into that. Decent bar service, but a bit pricey.

This is a great venue!! I would definitely book my event here, the stage is a good enough size for actual performances with a group of 20.

Great little venue, but I would say it is not conducive to certain types of shows or events.If youre looking to watch and enjoy an artist rather than primarily dancing and enjoying say like a DJ it kind of sucks.It gets really packed and you can barely get into the main room, but if it were to be say an EDM show I feel it it would serve its purpose well.Smoking room is available, the have pool tables, and a main dance hall/stage with a very small loft.Bathrooms are clean.

The set up went well of the separation of the lines and scanning tickets the staff were friendly and good looking . The DJ had to entertain the crowd for two hours because DMX wasnt there at the venue yet. He was pretty good but the crowd was beginning to get restless from waiting outside and then the pass two of waiting for DMX. Then only to still have an opening act to hear after the DJ.Although DMX didnt come until 10:50pm, my sister and I had a great time. It was worth the wait.

I like this venue. Good sound system, tiered layout, impressive sound and AV. Plus who could ever argue with Nora En Pure on NYE? Impressive!

I have only been here for concerts. I have social anxiety, so the amount of security guards they have eased my mind. It’s one of the better places to see a small act. It’s floor only. The only down side to this venue is that it reeks of smoke because it doubles as a club when not being used as a concert venue.

Most venues not only give away water for free but encourage people to drink water and make it very accessible. Ritz instead makes it so if you want water you have to pay $5 per bottle water.Completely irresponsible and showing an obvious lack of concern for the health and safety of patrons and only concern about making money. I wont be going back no matter who plays there and management should be ashamed.

Fantastic venue. Amazing staff. Very fun place. Splurge for VIP seating, you wont regret it

Saw a concert here. Sound was amazing and it’s a pretty big venue. I was impressed. Side note. Pay for VIP and get your table. If not it’s standing room only.

Great times again and again!!!! I love this place, my friends and I used to go to Amphitheatre until the fire, everything from that club seems to have moved here. The main genre is techno, I will definetly be back.

Nice smaller venue where you get an intimate setting to view/hear your favorite bands. They also serve beer and cocktails which is a big plus!!

Won tickets at the State Fair to see rock bands. It is small compared to a arena, but it was great. We were VIPs and had a great time. But bring a sweater or somthing, it is cold inside.

Ive been coming to the Ritz for two years since Ive moved to Tampa. I love it. I always make friends and most people are very good about space. Everyone is mostly headbanging and dancing. The beats, house DJs, and drinks are great. Security is always friendly, and although its easy to lose your friends, its pretty safe to get lost in the crowd and find them later. There are a few bad apples, but overall its a safe place to honestly get lit AF and have fun.

No free cups of water even if youre already spending money on alcohol. Disgusting bathrooms and none of the stalls lock. Bar staff is rude and take forever to get your order. Drinks are a bit more than average. Sound system is good. Pretty spacious. Lights and LED stage is good.

Always have a blast when I come here. This time we saw Sully and it was fantastic. Usually a little crowded, so if you dont like people on you all the time I dont think its your spot.

This is a nice intimate venue. I watched Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness here and the sound was fantastic. It is standing room only though so my only complaint would be that unless you are right upfront or over 6 feet tall it is extremely difficult to see the stage.

21+ and 18+ are two separate lines, be aware! The bathrooms are good. I like the Ritz. I like how they run things and how there are separate rooms, and the events they have.LADIES: I dont have a problem with the venue! I just have a problem with some of the men who go there to follow women around so they can harass or grope them. (This has happened to me twice now.) While I love the Ritz, Im not sure I can come back, because Im very annoyed about it. This hasnt happened to me in other clubs, but I really dont think its a management issue, its just the guys that come here.

Fun atmosphere with great energy. We stood in a sellout crowd for three hours to see the Thievery Corporation, but loved every minute of it.

Went to a sold out show here. Line was quick. Parking was easy. Didn’t pat you down too much. Place was packed but you could dance your way pretty easily to the front. Security needs to chill but whats new?! Sound was spectacular as were the lights! Awesome venue overall! Cant wait for the next show!

Friday nights here are fantastic! I dont mind driving from Orlando because this venue is so nice. I really like that they have no dress code. Awesome place with great vibes if you are into the EDM scene.

Great spot for EDM DJ shows. Located near a lot of bars and restaurants for a pre or post club experience. Has two floors for different perspectives. Large dance floor and many bars. Has two sections for different music styles during events.

Went here with my son, awesome sounds, lights and a small side bar with different kids of music .

Easily my favorite music venue in Ybor.Nicest bathrooms in all of Ybor by far. Theres a bathroom attendant, its always nice to have company and be called boss while washing my hands. The free mints and colognes are a nice touch, if only they offered deodorant to general admission to mask peoples BO. Luckily everyone vapes inside so you can mask the BO with the various smells ranging from strawberry mist to churros.The VIP section is above the bar and to the right & left of the general admission floor. VIP is only worth it if you dont like bumping bodies with complete strangers.For more popular shows it can get crowded easily and be uncomfortable but nothing different from any other venue.One thing I would recommend to everyone is to NOT order Angry Orchard from the tap. It tastes absolutely terrible, nothing like the bottle, nothing like the crisp hard cider I needed to endure Animal Collective on election night. Some nights they like to make signature drinks about the band, I bought 2 Carly-ritas at $10 pop for what amounted to half a capri sun worth of liquid.If you want to get a buzz on I recommend heading to the stone soup company (one block away). They have a decent selection and way cheaper.I recommend arriving early to get the best view in the house. Theres paid parking right next to the venue if youre afraid of getting stabbed in Ybor at midnight and prefer to leave 2 minutes after your show ends even though crime has drastically fallen over the years and Ybor isnt as bad as it was in the late 90s and there seems to be a cop on every corner and the city has massively gentrified over the last 20 years. Its nice to have options I guess.

A.O.K.I If you wanna truly have a fun night out go to The Ritz Ybor. Best club in Ybor hands down.

The Ritz does a great job of handling near-capacity crowds. The last time I was here the headliner NERVO didnt even start until 1 am. So when I saw the line wrapped around the building for Minus The Bear at 7pm I about left again. I was surprised how quickly security got us into the building, couldnt have been more than a 10-minute wait. The layout is great in the main room and also in the two side rooms before entering mainstage. Places to sit down and have a drink. At most venues in Tampa VIP is a joke. We are not Vegas. However the next event I attend at the Ritz will be VIP. Not sure if they have VIP bathrooms but the regular bathrooms are serviced well. Security keeping the walkway clear of standing people up the stairs and to the bathrooms would be nice.

Monday nights are fun with 20 dollar all you can drink.

The venue was amazing, the drink prices were pretty expensive. The overall experience was amazing. The staff was great. The bartender remembered my name and my drink with a venue of over 200 patrons. Two thumbs up I would definitely go back if there was a band I wanted to see that was performing there.

Wonderful vibe for concerts --- SECURITY IS ON POINT!!!!! Sound is good, set up is great, especially for a smaller venue. And, of course, great club when there are no events! Love this place!!!

Saw Nothing More concert here, witb Palisades, Badflower, and Of Mice and Men as opening acts. High energy, good acoustics because it is all enclosed. Has a full bar inside. However: one of the girls bathroom stalls has a broken lock, and there seemed to be a problem with setting up the audio equipment.

Timeless venue that keeps improving. Went to my first concert here back in 1997 when it was The Masquerade. Saw Acheron, Morbid Angel, Deicide, and Venom, while Tampa is/was the heart & soul of death metal. Completely blown away by the massive sound. This place was made for that kind of music. Pretty intimate place. Cheap tickets. Dream come true.

The Ritz does not seem take proper precaution with how many humans they pack into the venue. If you bought a ticket to a sold out show, youre guaranteed sardine status.

Place itself is great. However, I have a problem with the fact that smoking is allowed everywhere (it used to be that you had to leave the main room and smoke in the hall or one of the adjacent rooms). Now, people were smoking EVERYWHERE, even cigars (imagine a 64 dude puffing away, while drinking a WhiteClaw....douche)

Ive never seen a bad show at the Ritz. Its a great venue to see any genre of music. The open area in front of the stage is epic for punk shows and was so groovy during The Floozies. There are a ton of bars within the venue so you never have to walk too far to get another drink. Its truly awesome to be able to play some pool before youve had a couple of drinks and need to claim your spot near the stage as well.

Best live venue Ive been to in ages and the best small live venue in Tampa Bay.

This place is so bad. Likely genuinely so bad. The staff and security are so incredibly rude. One of the girls that works there was so extremely rude and disgraceful. She and the staff alone ruined the entirety of the club and the reputation. This place only cares about money and making money. They falsely advertise free drinks then change it last minute. It is just horrible. I just cant get over how disgustingly rude and horrendous the girls that work there are. I understand clubs can get wild and rowdy but treating people with disrespect and taking their money is another whole level of horribleness.

Good atmosphere and music. Its a younger crowd and tons of under 21 people. Line moves quickly but show up early if you dont want to wait. Drinks are expansive for what you get. Security seems ok as well. Place does get crowded once the big room opens up.

We’ve been there for two events now and it’s always well staffed with security, they aren’t there to put up with the bs lol. Bathrooms seemed clean both times too. Lots of space and multiple rooms to hang in

I love this place! The security and team associates are always doing their best to have a smoothie venue whenever I’ve been there. They try to keep the place clean with as much traffic as there is that comes into the place, which is ALOT! I love it there! Many rooms set up with different vibes. They have pool tables. The drinks are a bit pricey but that’s the only downfall. Great place for venues though.
