This place use to have great service. Now you can expect to wait 30 mins for a drink after Martha, her bother and cousins get there drinks after they have just walked up to the bar and you have been there for 20 minutes. That’s the quality of staff working here. Inconsiderate staff doesn’t make happy customers. Upgrades are needed despite corona, hire better quality help when you are charging $20 to get in.

This review is for Wednesday evening dancing at Dallas Bull. A nice light crowd, and a nice light dance floor with good music. If you like to couples dance (2 step or other couples dances) try this place on either Wednesday or Friday night. Best dance floor in the area and they have it marked for line dancers and couples on the outside lane. Security here is good about keeping drinks and idiots off the dance floor. They are also good at removing people who like to stand on the dance floor and talk. Music is good with a good volume. Also very nice seating. Also dj will take requests if your looking for a certain song to dance too. Friendly staff and good drinks.

As a country man this is a fun place to be for good time when it’s time to be casual

SO FUN! My first time there was last night for my bachelorette party and it was great! They had great music, a great mix of people, and the second floor was so fun! Loved it, and highly recommend for people who love line dancing, or just dancing period!

Went there on Saturday. We started out bachelor party there 9pm, planned on leaving by 1030 but we had such a blast didnt leave till 1 finally to the strip club. The guy bartender with long blondish or Brown hair was awesome on point. We started our tabs rode the bull watched people dance cause we cant lol talked to girls awesome place definitely recommend

If I could give this a Zero Star rating I would! The security seemed to think my government issued ID was fake. I recently sat 5 hours in our local DOT office to get my new license and they claim that they have the most recent “state ID book” and that mine isn’t real. I would HIGHLY recommend that if you are from OUT OF STATE to NOT go to this establishment. Security was NOT nice and however we EXTREMELY rude. I am 26 years old and haven’t ever dealt with such rude, ignorant people!

If you are looking to stand in line forever or pay an under the table bribe fee, go Saturday nights. Management purposely puts only one bouncer to check ID’s so that they can try and push their “skip the line” for $20. Always nice to be nickel and dime’d by a place before you even get in the door...

This is a review specific to the Tuesday night beginners line-dancing class to help others who want to learn. I, on purpose, chose the beginner class advertised on Tuesday night. Im an experienced couples dancer (swing, ballroom, contra, salsa etc.), so I even know many of the individual steps. Per the instructor, this isnt really a beginners class. There was no explanation of this or anything else on the web site or at the beginning of class. The instructor started by teaching one more-advanced dance first, then experienced line dancers moved through mostly intermediate to advanced dances while newbies watched and tried to model the dances without instruction. It was extra awkward and kind of embarrassing to be on the floor as a beginner without anyone calling the steps on most of the dances. Ive studied dance and danced for mnay years and Ive never encountered a class like this. The instruction assumes that the dancer already knows common dance steps. A few of the dancers were gracious and tried to share helpful information (like where to stand), but a few were notably irritated and rude to me. Most just ignored. The instructor who was very professional gave clear directions on the three walk-throughs I did with the class (The majority of the two hours was not with the instructor) seeked me out as I was leaving (early because I was frustrated) to give me her card with information on how to use videos to study the dances on line. That would have been helpful beforehand. So, in closing, I would suggest editing the web site, so an interested dancer knows what to do before and during the class.

Security needs to learn manners. Management needs to learn how to properly deal with unhappy customers. Head of security said “oh well” when I said I would not be back to establishment. 1 star is generous for this visit.

I got thrown out for drinking, they took my ID and told me we wont put this on your record but there was nothing to put on my record??? Idc Im not coming back there anyway. They also said my ID has to be fake thats not really her! After reading some other reviews it seems like they are quick to throw you out. Security is a big joke

Best line dancing in town. I love the atmosphere here. I go here every week and have never had a problem. Staff is super friendly and the dancing is a lot of fun. There is 2 floors one is country the other is hip hop/pop. If ur not too comfortable with line dancing they offer classes on certain days. Thursday’s are ladies nights ($5) and Saturdays are sunk or swim ($13/ all u can drink)

Well, apparently I didnt miss much when I forgot to go by there on my vacation. It used to be an absolute Saturday night Stop. Obviously not anymore. Oh well nothing wasted.

Don’t go!!!!!! 6 Bouncers cowardly escalated and got physical. They physically shoved and pushed 3 ladies with us out for what they considered to be too drunk. No excuse for getting physical with ladies, it’s fine to push me out no problem. I’ll be calling their main office to see if management cares. Probably not, but I will let them know you won’t get anymore of my money and do my best to discourage others.

To start off with the bartender was very rude and slow. We get it that things are busy and there are a lot of people to deal with but he completely skipped over our group of 3 each time we went up and we had to get another servers attention to get his.Then, the crowd started growing as expected and the people were just nasty and rude. The dance floor had so many people on it we could barely move and at our seats we had people literally on top of us.Because it got so crowded downstairs we decided to go upstairs and we were stopped by a security guard who wouldn’t let us go up. Come to find out, there was a man upstairs who needed medical attention, so we moved near the doors and pool tables to get out of the way. While standing there the other patrons became very agitated and started trying to fight with the people who had come downstairs in order to make way for the medics. When a man near us tried to let a nearby security guard know that there were people trying to start fights it got blown off. Overall the staff was rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful. Due to safety concerns, we left. And we will not be returning.

Me and my girlfriend wanted to venture out and check out country line dancing class. We had a blast. Cathy the instructor was Awesome, everyone was friendly. Cant wait to go back

This is the best Western bar Ive been going there for a while but I do recommend the moose its better for older people until 7 is children friendly

I was so excited to come to the Dallas bull. Once I arrived and entered, I immediately regretted every decision to come to this bar. The security staff is SO rude and unprofessional. I was so disgusted with how they treat people. My feet were barely touching the dance floor and no drink was in my hand, yet I was yelled at multiple time to get off the dance floor if Im not dancing. Screw that. I cant even enjoy my night out without being yelled at like a two year old. Then, they had the upstairs closed and were accepting payment to enter the top floor (a large payment I might add). By 1:30 no one is up there yet there still forcing the huge crowd to used the bars they have downstairs. We waited 30 minutes for ONE beer. Ridiculous. There are 2 bars upstairs, I think, yet making everyone wait for drinks downstairs. Ill never be coming back, and neither will the group of 20 I attended with.

They wouldnt let my buddy in and he was Spanish. He had a New York ID, had an officer with us and also offered to have an on-duty officer come by to verify after they told us that would work then they wouldnt let us do that either

Well drove about an hour to come here as a send off before I got back to Fort Lee VA and everything said they were open well they wernt very disappointed in this they need better communication.

If you like country music and the two-step this is not the bar for you. If you like line dancing to songs that are not country or songs that are country with some beats added then this is the place for you. Definitely not the old Dallas Bull.

Fun place to hang out! The dancing is all choreographed so you feel a little out of place when you dont know the dances. But you learn the more you go! The upstairs is a whole different setting and offers another dance floor to just dance to hip hop and modern music on. Its a bar but can also be a lot of fun for ages 18-20 because theres a lot more to do than just drink!

I was thrown out quickly after I had entered for using the bathroom and they took my ID and I still have not gotten it back. Security told me they had to “hold onto my ID for a while” and they kept it and repeatedly told me to leave.

They make you wait in line forever and have one bouncer at the door checking ID’s, but you can pay an extra $5 to go to a side door to go in. You already have to pay $15 to get in, and then they way you to pay an extra $5 or wait in hour in line? Who does business like this? Do not go to the bull unless you want to wait around and get watered down drinks.

Go there twice a week. Great place to just go drink. Or to just dance. Nice area with pool tables. Security is insane. I feel confident having an open drink and not being roofied. My favorite place in the world

The security here is extremely homophobic. My friends were thrown out because “they were caught dancing together” as quoted by the brilliant head of security when they pulled our group outside. They made my friends leave and told the rest of us to go back inside. When we asked why we weren’t getting thrown out too, he said “because you’re not one of them.” Never coming back here again. To my LGBT friends, steer clear.

Its great if youre a country girl. Drinks are cheap, its a large space with allot of country music. Allot of people line dancing, but, thats all they do. If you dont line dance you wont be on the floor. I cant line dance, no coordination, and the DJ only plays country. I cant get my girlfriends to go there anymore, so bummer.

LOVED Dallas Bull every single time Ive gone and I have never had a problem. I have been multiple times! I tried to go for sink or swim on Saturday 2/23/2019. I am 27 years old, soon to be 28. I handed them my ID and they looked at me funny. They had to double check it and that was fine. About 10 minutes later, while they still had my ID, they went up to the lady who takes the money and she checked it, looked at me, and started whispering that my ID was fake. At this point I was a little annoyed because I have been there multiple times with no issue with that same ID (my drivers license...) so the security guard put it under the black light and still said it was fake. The ID was still valid. Then he proceeds to ask me to pull up my Facebook page so he can validate my birthday. For one, this is very unprofessional. For 2, that is NOT a valid form of ID. If that is how they are checking peoples ages then there is a problem. Ultimately, they decided to not let us in. I am angry at how this went down and I want to alert anyone that if you look young, and I guess I look under 18 because they told me I was really 17 and my ID was fake, watch out. This place is sketch!

They have no idea how to handle parking and at a sold out concert he onl ONE person handeling and directing parking. It took us 40 min to go a block and then they couldn’t find keys. The attendant told the cop who came to see why traffic was backed up for miles that I was the manager and the cop started screaming at me. I have no officiating with the club whatsoever. I was simply waiting to park. Then to top it off this circus took so long we missed half the concert. I asked for a refund and was completely blown off by the poor excuse of a manager. They had only one bartender who was super slow and it took 20 min to get a single beer.

Music is always the best! The crowd is friendly and the place has two dance floors. First floor is country music and up on the second floor is hip-hop music, over all a good place to meet with friends.

Environment was fun and it was sink or swim so that way great but the bouncers pulled three of our friends outside to search for drugs!!! They let them search and nothing was found. We were there with a large group for my birthday and Im not sure why they kept singeing us out because it happened on two separate occasions. We were the in a limb and no one was acting up so it was strange and annoying!

This place was so big. Two floors of dance. We were in a little back room singing karaoke. Plenty of people dancing.

Great place with a really fun and friendly atmosphere. The non-smoking aspect of the club was fantastic however, I gave 4 stars because unless you’re frequent to the club or you get there right at 7 for line dancing lessons, you’ll have a difficult time participating in the line dances.

Some co-workers and I decided to give this place a try. The drinks were just okay and the security seem to be a little bit too aggressive for our liking. I probably wont be back but it was an okay night.

Love that there is ladies night, 3 bars and 2 dance floors with 2 different genres of music to keep everyone happy. I dont know how to line dance but my first night there everyone was so friendly and tried to help the best they could. Definately have my sights set on returning when I am in town this May.

This place was fun. Large dance floor and lots of people who know the line dances so its pretty fun and easy to get out there and try and pick them up. Prices are normal for the type of place this is. Not too high but still pricey. They have a cover charge. Service was friendly. Only thing I hate is leaving a place with bad ventilation and smelling like a cigarette when you leave.

On the website it stated one free drink for males over 21. When we got here, they stated the deal was from January and would not be honored. Its late March. Its disappointing and misleading to the average customer

While I love this bar, lately it has become more of a top 40 bar and the country feel of it is starting to fade . If you love dancing to country you will sometimes have to wait for 6,7 or more songs for one good country dance. I dont know what the dj is thinking when they play true country songs you can barely fit on the floor to dance but they would rather play top 40 and have 30 people on the dance floor instead 200 some changes need to be made here . Most place will play to the majority but here the play for the minority and select few favorites

Not worth the hassel. They security is disrespectful. the bar service sucks. the music is mediocre. And i will be suing for the personal injury inflicted on myself and my friend.your security has NO RIGHT to body slam someone against a wall when they are not hostile and obviously is in more need of an ambulance than anything else.

A great place to go for live country music. Top of the chart names on the stage. Lots to do besides, like a game of pool or hit the dance floor.

Dont open a tab with this establishment. They will over charge you, if you try to dispute the charges they will take you outside confiscate your identification and threaten you with arrest. Shady managment, dishonest bartenders, underage crowd. If negative stars were availble they would get a minus 5. Avoid it completely.

Favorite spot for line dancing & concerts!

Ive been here a few times. They have some really good artists come here. However, a lot of the people are wreckless and rude there. After a concert we walked out to our car and the front end was ripped off. Its a good place to see your favorite musicians tho.

This place has two floors to it. The 1st floor is where the line dancing happens and the 2nd floor has more of the music that plays on the radio. It has couches up stairs if you get tired. The floor for line dancing is small compared to other places I have been to. Overall its a decent place.

Great deal on drinks. Nice place, has several pool tables, large dance floor for line dancing and another dance floor upstairs with a nice view of the dance floor downstairs. Lookin forward to going back.

I am from Fort Myers. I have a line dancing bar in my town that I go to every week. This weekend was my birthday and I decided to celebrate it with a bunch of my friends at Dallas Bull. We have been to the Bull a few times before and loved it but last night was the first time I was really disappointed with your business. My best friend drove 2 and 1/2 hrs last night specifically just for me. He did not arrive until 10pm. He went outside to smoke a cigarette and was minding his own business when a drunken fool started going up to random people and trying to start a fight. ALL my friend did was laugh at the guy and he got asked to leave. Someone PLEASE explain to me how that is fair. He didnt know the guy (we dont live here!), did not even speak to the man and he gets kicked out by association. Are you kidding me? Ive seen many bar fights and I know how it works but that was piss poor judgment on the owner to send people home just bcuz the idiot approached my friend along with 10 others. The man was hammered and should have been the only one made to leave because HE was the problem. My friend spent $60 in fuel to drive here to only be at your establishment for 45 min and have to drive all the way back home for nothing. Needless to say, it ruined my mood for the night and regret even coming.

Absolutely horrible. The bouncers are power hungry animals. They have a DD program that is actually very good. If someone says theyre a DD, they let them in with a cheaper cover, and give them a card for five free juices or sodas. What they dont tell you is when youre the 25 year old DD and your friends give you their beer to hold so they can go dance, that you and your entire group will be kicked out. For what? Absolutely no reason at all. Pathetic.

This place is not worth going to due to the fact that they are not LGBT feiendlf and refuse to be so. They need to get into the state laws figured out with the LGBT rights. Had a lot of fun upstairs where they play a variety of music. the dancefloor is a good size. and the drinks werent crazy expensive. we also went on sink or swim night. The dj was okay but not the best.

Worst experience ever at this bar! The air conditioning was broke and they were still packing people in the bar. Went for a clay walker concert and it was so hot we didnt stay to see the concert. This was a complete waste of money, would never recommend going to this bar to anyone at all.

They charged my credit card the 12 dollar entrance fee and then never let me in the club!! I feel that I have been robbed by the establishment!! I am currently filling a claim with my credit card company!

A friend of mine took her special needs daughter there for teen night. They would not allow her in to at least check out the establishment and make sure that everything was safe for her daughter. When she questioned the manager about it he belittled her. When she posted about it on Facebook the owner got on and was rude for no reason. There was also snapchats of the teens being inappropriate in there because hey their parents arent there and obviously the staff doesnt care. Mom and Dads beware of teen night

I would recommend staying away from this place. As other reviewers have said, the security here has some serious power issues and eventually your night is going to get ruined for no reason.The second time I went here it was getting really hot inside so I went out to have a smoke and cool off. As I attempted to go back inside the bouncers wouldnt let me back in. When I asked why they said The owner said not to let you back in. I said Youre joking with me right? They said no. I asked to speak with the owner because there must be some kind of mistake. They told me the owner had left and there was no-one I could talk to. To make matters worse, I had gotten a ride up there with friends and my phone had died so now I had no way of getting ahold of anyone because of these tyrannical a-holes. I ended up sitting outside for 2 hours waiting for my friends to come out and when they finally did they were like Where have you been?! Weve been worried sick about you?!. I explained what happened and they looked at me with disbelief. The idea that someone could get thrown out of a bar without actually being thrown out was inconceivable to them. One of my friends went over and asked them why they wouldnt let me back in and got the same answer. My friend said to him So Is it normal business practice for you all to kick sober people out of the bar on their Birthday that did absolutely nothing?. The bouncer replied with Im just doing my job. My friend said Well youre not very good at it you piece of S***! and we left.To be honest, I couldntve cared less about not being let back in. The fact I came with friends and wasnt allowed to get a hold of them to leave was the major problem. I wasnt having a very good time and as others have said this place is disgusting. Bathrooms are horrendously dirty, for some reason all the guard rails in this place are sticky like a 5 year old with too much candy in his mouth drooled all over them, the A/C never seems to work which means you can go in with a white shirt and walk out with a black one because everyone is sweating so much and apparently dont know what a shower is and forget trying to get something to drink from the slow and lazy bartenders. I seriously have no idea how this place is still in business.Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to go. This place isnt worth the potential headache.

This club is good if you dont mind the security staff being very unprofessional. The past three times I have been there was a situation with myself and a security personal. Two of the times was before I even go into the club and it was the door gaurd. If you asked to see a supervisor, you will never see one.I am never going back to the Bull, its not worth the frustration at the beginning of the night when other clubs treat thier guest will respect.

Just left a Aaron Lewis concert and the a/c was out and had been out for a while. The HVAC Systems in there suck ass. This place needs a make over.
