A lovely bookstore run by an extremely kind and knowledgeable family. I came to educate myself further and ended up spending an hour perusing the shelves of books. They took to the time to discuss different works from authors I was searching out and made sure I was able to find the information I was seeking. I even left with a couple first editions. Very cool. I will be back next week to pickup a couple books they ordered for me. Highly suggest a visit to this store. Spend your money locally. Exceptional experience. Would recommend to anyone.

Great little museum with a big name. Curator Gigi Best-Richardson is a fountain of knowledge. $5 suggested donation is very reasonable to tour the museum room with lots of books and artifacts on the African Diaspora and African American writers and history.

Great literature
