This is a shop that has old, recent, and brand new gear! The aisles are all completely full from the top to the floor! Clothing to fishing rod repairs! They have all the saltwater tackle and freshwater lures to have you on your favorite spot properly equipped to handle a day of fishing. The store is expansive, so it will require an hour or so to peruse the merch. There are plenty of rod and reel combos all in one store to ensure you find something you like! 4/5 stars.(Please repair the flooring to ensure the safety of your customers as that will be far costlier in case of accident.-1 star)

First time visiting this lil diamond of a fishing world store,they repair rods and reels and have a huge stock of just about all the tackle you will need for fishing. If your looking for a rod,a reel,a rod an reel combo,cast net,frozen baits,shirts for fishing,glasses for fishing,etc.etc. then this is a must stop shop.better prices than bass pro and alot of other tackle supply chain stores. I highly recommend this place,great customer service and very knowledgeable to help set you up with the right gear. Will definitely be back time an time again!

Great selection of products. Whatever youre fishing for, theyve got the gear for it. Great repair shop for rods and reels too. Had 2 rods repaired and a reel cleaned up and put back into service after years of neglect. Sometimes they have closeout/clearance items that are flat out great deals.

I took my 6 year old to SE Liquidators today for the first time as hes expressed an interest in fishing lately. A gentleman who presumably was the owner assisted us in finding the right tackle. As we were leaving he picked a shirt off a rack and gave it to my son and told him to wear it when we go fishing! My son was on Cloud 9! Great store. These guys should look into selling castnets from wholesale castnets too! One of the only products I have used that they arent having in stock.

Could not get nobody to wait on me, once they found out how much I was looking to spend. The good. They have everything in that store except the fish themselves. I have never seen such an inventory. If they dont have it, it hasnt been invented yet. Yes I recommend the store and yes I will go there again.

The young people staffing this shop show great real respect for customers and the environment, And they seem to know where every little thing is -- and the show pride in how much they know about each little thing. Theyre honesty in talking about how the bytes not on right now, instead of trying to push something that just wont-work was refreshing. I had an islet replaced on my fishing rod, and I was able to pick up a used rod and a good price. From a respectable array of build your own supplies, and brand names, to customized rods, this place has the equipment to get you on the water. As I was looking through the isles, while a bit higher than my yard sale prices, they have in stock every lure Ive ever seen catch a fish. While parkings a challenge, and the storefront is not waterfront, this is a respectable this shop, staffed with people who are knowledgeable and respectable. Its the place for guides and working fishermen, as well as the more dedicated sportsman. I think they should have their own YouTube channel, or ticktock, or something. If youre serious about fishing, its worth the trip across the bridge. What I didnt mention was the display cases full of used reels at reasonable prices, and they also have racks and racks of ready to go fishing rods, and rod reel combos. Buy something new, and pick up the thread or let them fill the spool.

Sold me a $40.00 fishing rod it broke in monthWent back up and had a man with a old ......I mean old never seen before.....it broke....went back to talk to manager wouldnt replace said its made of plastic told him bought it a couple months ago....he said he would sell me another piece that broke....had to pay $10.00Im disable have a rod in my leg ......please dont shop at the store in tampa...Mean manager

Great place to get all types of fishing gear. Prices are good and even better when there is a sale happening. They have an award point program on all purchases if youre a member. Also they support the active and retired military with a discount. I always support small businesses that support our troops!

Amazing selection for the amount of space they have! Good stuff too, no junk really. Lots of good deals marked down 40% when I walked in. Very helpful but nobody bugging you making you feel like its not ok to just look around either. Its a long drive for me but Ill still go back from time to time just because I like it better than any other shop Ive been to in all of the St Pete area.

I dropped my fishing rod off to get some of the guides replaced the gentleman that did the repair took extra time in matching the guides and also the string. I really appreciate how fast the turnaround was so I could take my son fishing I will be bringing in all of my rods and reels from now on to get serviced or repaired thank you so much

Bought my Stellar Lite rod here a while back and brought it in for repair as the top 2 eyelet needed replacing, got it back and the drunk that fixes the rods messed up the epoxy mixture around the guide (its still sticky 2 weeks later) and the top guide was off center. Before we could even go fishing, while trying to put on a new hook, the the rod snapped just above one of the guides that was improperly fixed-- there was no heavy tension on the rod that would have made that happen. So, I brought my rod back in in an attempt to have it replaced as Star Rods has a lifetime warranty. I spoke with two of the younger employees, they confirmed that the epoxy was mixed incorrectly and laughed about the poor job that was done by Gary. They called the owner to the front as they were not allowed to do the return, I waited for over 15 minutes and then the owner, Mike, was unhelpful and tried to place the blame on me & my husband for the rod snapping. He questioned how the line was fed through and then proceeded to teach me something on how to put the line through to put on a new hook. I am not an idiot, but that is how I was treated. The warranty that Star Rods offers is the reason I bought this rod. Ive seen these rods replaced with no hassle numerous times at other stores for reasons like breaking because theve been closed in car doors.... BUT that is not what happened with my rod. Instead of Mike providing good customer service and just replacing it under the warranty, he placed the blame on me and wouldnt replace the rod. Seems to me he just didnt want to take a chance on whether or not Star Rods would cover it under warranty. My husband and I have shopped here for years and years and have spent thousands of dollars here, we love to be able to shop local, but this is unacceptable repair service and absolutely unacceptable customer service. Whatever happened to the nice lady that worked the front? We will not be back, you have lost our business and we will spread the word regarding the shoddy work being done by the alcoholic in the repair shop as well as the terrible customer service being provided by the owner. Thankfully, we have Bass Pro!

A while back I had an issue with this store and felt slighted. I’d like to take the chance and let people now that this place is a good place to go to for fishing supplies and repairs. The staff are knowledgeable and ready to help. I recommend southeastern fishing to people on a daily basis. Not only are they a great company to make purchases from they give back to the community in several ways. Through drives and through a program they have for children. I really like this company.

Dont rate based on prices because your either going to over pay or get a deal anywhere you go. Best place to have your stuff repaired. Gary is an old salt who is no nonsense and knows his stuff. Their pricing is excellent and their turn around is pretty quick. I have had several reels and rods repaired by them and its always been a great experience.

Went here today to get started saltwater fishing with little knowledge since I only have been freshwater fishing and they took the time to recommend a saltwater rod and reel setup, line hooks and bait. Great customer service and I would recommend to anyone out there!

Have shopped here for years and have found the store to have a great selection and variety of fishing items at competitive prices. Personal interest in rod / reel repairs and have received excellent assistance in both technical advice and product availability.Only downside I can speak to is the parking situation is sometimes challenging.

I found the company while doing a google search for a fishing reel that I wanted to purchase. The price was decent and they had the specific model that I wanted. Unfortunately when I went to purchase the item with their online checkout I noticed that they do not have a secure server. That includes for credit card transactions and to create an account.At best this is unprofessional and gross ignorance on their part. At worst it is negligent disregard for the security of their customers. I called and informed them of this significant security issue and the person I spoke with seemed to think it was okay. If they do not correct the problem it is safe to say they do not care as they have been informed.Hopefully they will do the right thing and protect their customers even though it does involve a minimal increase in overhead cost to their business. Luckily I noticed the problem before I submitted the transaction.

From Jacksonville, so I was kind of new to fishing the Bay Area. Been in here less than 10 times and already got 2 outfits to hit the water. Mike and the guys have all the knowledge to get you on the water and catch fish. Thanks will be in here soon.
