Incredible course, not too challenging and very beautiful. Downside is the excruciatingly painful slow play. Just took me over 5 hours to finish a round. The group in front of me mustve taken 50 shots each hole between 4 of them. They were playing from the blues and hitting the ball 15 yds into the dirt. Marshalls need to handle this. No one plans their day around a 5+ hour round.

Very nice course. Very tight course. Front nine is tough. Tight and tough to use the driver. Really need to know how far your clubs can carry. Got a great deal and didnt expect the course that I was fortunate to play. I will definitely be back. Ou

Its my favorite course in Tampa thats not $60 a round. Grass is amazing. But the layout is a little hard. Bring an extra box of balls. Believe me.

The course has a unique layout and is not cookie cutter by any means. There is a big difference between the back tees and the next tees in yardage, so we played blue on the front and gold on the back. The greens are in terrible condition, slow with some type of funky top dressing. I was very disappointed with the greens, usually the greens are in decent shape, every green was horrendous. Everyone there has always been pleasant. The cart girl needs a few pointers on driving her cart towards people who are in the tee box, she could get hit by an errant shot. Overall I wont be back for a while because of the terrible conditions of the greens. Also Im not in favor of a water driving range.The bunkers have decent sand and most of the fairways are in good shape also.

The staff there is great and the golf course is decent. What is frustrating is that there are hardly ever range balls to use early in the morning. I am a player advantage member and with the membership comes unlimited range balls which is a sweet deal! I mostly can only practice early in the morning, and driving all the way there only to find out there are no range balls available can be a pain.

We enjoy the breakfast/Brunch here. Its classy, casual and clean. Perfect Saturday morning.

All around decent course. Much better golf to be played in the area, and some worse. Layout is by far their best asset. Close to 7000 yards from the tips. Greens are never as good as they should be, usually rolling slow. Pace of play is 4 hours on weekends. Price changes too frequently. Worth $35 only because it suits longer hitters.

I love working here and driving the Beverage Cart. My interaction with my customers is different each day. There are my regulars but meeting people from all over the world makes my job much more fun. I love taking care of everyone and working outdoors. If youre ever in Tampa and enjoy playing on a beautiful course please come visit. In addition, the Bistro has excellent homemade food. Theres something for everyone.

Played here past weekend and I was so disappointed by the condition of the greens... especially the front 9. Additionally the fairways are not doing well. They appear to be green but the turf is extremely thin and the surface hard. I hope the golf course management can turn things around as I have enjoyed playing here for many years and would love to see this course in a much better condition than it is in now. Not sure if I am willing to pay almost $40 to play here again until things improve.

I was initially excited about playing this course, but my experience will likely cause me never to return. Had a foursome scheduled for 11:48pm and our group arrived about 15-20 minutes before the tee time.We paid, then went to find our cart and was told by a guy who works there that was outside the pro shop smoking that were all out of carts, were going by tee times now. I said OK, but my tee time is in 5 minutes. He then went to find two carts and we waited for around 10-15 minutes.In this time there was a twelvesome that was apparently scheduled after our tee time, but they had gotten there early to use the chipping green/driving range so they already had carts. The starter allowed them to tee off, then shortly after they found two carts for our foursome.By this time we were now 4th in line to tee off, so we talked to the starter wondering what happened and he basically shrugged his shoulders and said that they had been in front of us (even though we had been waiting for them to find carts for us).Regardless of having to start behind a twelvesome, the fact that this course doesnt have enough carts is ridiculous and something Ive never seen before. It seems apparent by the fact that they dont have enough carts to cover demand and the fact that we were put behind a twelvesome (who also had to wait for people to tee off in front of them) that the management overbooks the course.In light of the realization that we were staring a 6 hour round of golf in the face, we decided to bail and go to a driving range. However, when I asked for a refund due to the fact that I paid for the service of using their cart and golf course starting at 11:48pm which they were unable to provide, I was told that once you paid, thats it and was given a rain check instead. I told him I wasnt interested in a rain check if they always overbook the golf course and would prefer a refund, which he refused. Hopefully management will see this review and look into it since I feel that I have been cheated out of money.Anyway, the course looks nice if you can use it.

Very nice course with a friendly staff. The day I played the course was very dry and the greens were super fast. Sand traps were packed hard making it difficult to get under the ball. Plan to go back with my new knowledge.

Beautiful and quiet golf course. Greens are in good shape last time I was there last month. Clubhouse was totally renovated, its gorgeous. The club house is popping off the chain people all over town show up. Great food great prices. Live music gets the whole bar singing, its fun.

Always enjoy playing here...fun course, especially good when greens are rolling, like they were today. Very casual round...no one pushed behind us and we werent on anyones butt. Well worth the visit.

My experience for me and my family was VERY embarrassing. We went there on Mothers Day to enjoy the brunch and we were stopped abruptly. The way the front desk staff came off were totally disrespectful and embarrassing. We were ask questions like do we know how much buffet cost and are we sure were in the right place. Unfortunately for them I will never go to this place again. I read they itinerary and this place seemed like somewhere me and my family wanted to become a regular at because they have a different theme for everyday of the week. Its sad that this type of stuff still going on but it dont surprise me.

Nice place, great pace to the game. The starter seemed to really do a great job spacing out players. Very enjoyable game of golf. We seen a lot of gators throughout the course. Nice friendly staff, not sure on restaurant as we played Easter Sunday and they had already sold out.

Played today in tournament and the course was set up nicely. Greens looked great but I think need to be rolled because rather bouncy. Everything else was great.

Had breakfast this morning, country fried steak & eggs with country gravy, biscuit and fresh fruit. Jeremy is awesome and the food was good! Ill be back, maybe on a weekend. Ive heard that they sometimes have Eggs Benedict on the weekend, but not always. Id come for that for sure!

The course was well maintained and pin placements were challenging. Check-in was fast and efficient and the price was reasonable.

Amazing golf course! There is a convenient restaurant and always has enough parking space for everyone. The carts are very “green”, it is electrical to not pollute the earth, and to not distract other golfers when driving. The course can be a little messy with the divots and sand bunkers, but overall the experience is good. Also, there is a water slide and pool too, so make sure to check that out!

Nice layout. Golfed here a few times and I like the facility. Sometimes there tends to be some slow pokes out here, but overall nice course.

My first time there and I enjoyed it very much. Good service nice atmosphere but my one complaint was the fried potatoes needed longer cooking. I will go back.

I live in the community and the young girl at the gym is very rude and very unprofessional. Couple neighbors of mine told me the same thing about her and how rude she was with them!!

My experience having just sitting on the restaurant patio while my husband was hitting balls at the range was not good... several people were sitting at a table drinking/eating and cursing continuously! Having been there alone and an older woman, could have been their Mothers or Grandmothers age...they were younger and very disrespectful to say the least.. I cant say I dont ever hear that but this was too much! On the putting green right in front of them was an instructor giving a lesson to a young man about 10. He didnt say a word, or just didnt notice.At this point I would think twice about going there to enjoy the scenery and observe my husband...that bad!!!

One of the better tracks in the Tampa area. Lots of course management available, good risk reward, and greens are usually decent. Compared to what else is in Tampa, this is one of my favorites.

I play all over the Tampa area. Right now, this course is in the best condition of any course in the area (outside of private clubs), fairways have grass even though weve been in a spring drought and the greens are superb. Im a single digit handicap and I dont give courses high ratings just because Im happy to be playing golf. ( I live here, not a seasonal transplant ) For the green fee, best deal in town, play here now.

The new owners have brought excitement back to Heritage Isles! The food is absolutely delicious and the beauty of the establishment adds to the total charm of the place. The staff is warm and loving and I cant say enough.

Guy in the pro shop wanted to go home early so he tried to kick us off the course. Was hounded by the staff the entire back nine for slow play even though we were 20 minutes ahead of pace. what a joke.

Management needs improvement. Greens are horrible.
