The setup of the hall was good, all general admission, no seating, drinks right inside the door and you could still see the band. The acoustics of the building are terrible. Saw great bands but the concrete and stone building echos so badly that you can’t even understand someone speaking into the mic. That was unfortunate.

Concerts are free big acts lots of fun

Why wouldnt anybody wanna see great concerts for free!!! Get there early for the best seat in town,or youll be standing...just sayin!!! Been going there for years,and the best part is there just a few steps away for the wine court!!!

Where the best concerts happen during the fair. Get your seats early, tho. People will camp out, waiting hours for their favorite band.

Although its very crowded for shows, Chevy Court is a fabulous venue. Terrific sound and you can see the stage well from everywhere, except a very few views obstructed by trees. Bathrooms, food and liquid refreshments are very close by. And the best thing - free with Fair admission! Best 13 day concert series - theres always at least one show for literally everyone!

I saw Why Dont We in August. It was incredible. The venue is good sized. We got there early so we could get good seats. If you plan on going to a concert there you might want to get there a few hours early so you can get good seats. It fills up fast.

Really good venue at the NYS Fair to see musical groups. No charge and the fair does a good job keeping it clean and comfortable.

What makes the fair except at free concert in Chevy court exclamation although the only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because of you dont get there early youll end up setting on the ground are having to stand up but my sides that its always a good time at the New York State fair!

I went for the 95x-Big-X-Cuse and I absolutely loved it! The venue was organized and told me exactly where to go and the security was nice enough to hand out water (we were in the sun for 10 hours or more). 10/10 would do it again!

Have seen a couple of concerts here and of course its super crowded but still have great concerts and screens all over to see performer up close if you yourself arent close to the stage.

There is a giant structure (audio / video booth) and the entrances to the lawn are on each side. This makes people stand at the entrance not allowing people in or out. There could be on entrance in the middle, directly behind the sound booth then the other two farther off to the side. This would allow more people to view the stage and it would ultimately be less congested.

Horrible..Country Swagg was scheduled to play but the fair replaced them at the last minute so they could put a foul mouthed rapper on stage in front of the many youth. The guy was using the F bomb and B word freely. The fair director needs to go if this what he deems family entertainment!!!

My favorite place to be during the Fair to see all the live music, meet new people and friends.

We really like going to the fair to see the live music at Chevy Court. The variety of talent that is brought in is really phenomenal. We will continue to go back to this venue as long as possible. This is our favorite part of the NYS Fair.

Tough if you want to leave the front of stage during a concert. Security wont let you back in even if you are only going to the bathroom.

Good venue for free State Fair concerts, although seating can be hard to find because of so many people saving rows for others.

Chevy court year after year is fantastic. The music is always amazing. The only reason I dont give it a perfect 5 star rating is because of the seating. If you arent there 3-4 hours before the concert, the odds of you finding a seat are practically zero. That being said, they have many screens around the area so no matter where you are you have a clear view of the concert. But it is always nice to be able to sit. Myself I am handicap and need a cane to walk and cant stand. So I unfortunately had to save seats for the family because I would be unable to stand for the concert and this caused me to miss much of the fair. But to me, its worth it for the amazing shows

Hard to review Chevy Court since its a stage meant for shows at the New York State Fair. Its always well maintained and the (free!) shows on offer are increasingly great acts that you wouldnt want to miss. As a tip: If there are performers on both this and the Experience Stage, stick with Chevy Court. The better act will always be here first.

Chevy Court can be a complete toss up. If theres smaller bands playing, its a nice experience. Its when they get the bigger bands that it turns into a nightmare. I was there for a Shinedown concert a number of years ago and I remember being basically gridlocked by a wall of patrons to the point that it was majorly uncomfortable.

It was nice. Cool place for a concert but not enough seating. Then when we went to go sit down on the benches the security asked if we had seats and we hadnt sat yet so I said no and he said they were full. I said but I can see seats right there and he said sorry no new people allowed in.

It was the worst clambake I have ever attended. The food was cold, service was poor and the set up was unorganized. Parking was too far away and the music was too loud! I will not attend another bake there!!
