Changed over the years as with everything. The older park we use to frequent was fine with me. Even though the changes have been nice. Its a good thing to have a place and purpose for smaller children to come visit. The kids needed a place to cool off. Nice water park...

Love the new spray ground! It is wonderful addition to the park and of course refreshing for all from kids to adults

1st time visiting and I have to say I LOVED spending time at newman park

Splash Pad area was clean and well kept. The restrooms are clean there is plenty of shade and picnic tables

NEWMAN PARK is one of the most relaxing placing in Sweetwater to spend a warm sunny day!!

My cousins and I spent the day here, and it was very enjoyable. We are from Huntsville, Ala., and we met up with our. cousin from Levelland. We had a wonderful day, and we will always have happy memories of this park..

Really nice park for kids to play, but needs water fountains and more shade

Very clean and lots of Punic tables with shade. A traditional kids playground and a kids fitness playground. Very enjoyable!

Its a great place to take the family and the kids for the park and the barbecue

Its a nice park but it cpuld be maintained better and the bathroom needs soap and toilet paper and to be cleaned daily.

This place has a public pool at a very affordable price. It is conveniently located near little league ball and soccer fields as well as one of the best rodeo colliseums around. It has plenty of picnic tables available. It has a disc golf course and an outdoor fitness park with track. The playground equipment is appropriate for toddlers and up. The grounds are well kept and the park in general is among my favorite to visit with my family.

Has limited things for toddlers can play on. One of the slides has a crack in it that can really hurt a little one. Newman park can really use some more things to play on and some much needed upgrades.

Nice little park. Very serene. They have an old wartime jet, helicopter and a freaking tank! Nice picnic area.

I like the track, just wish it was better maintained.

Plenty of spots to stay overnight with hookups if just traveling through. In a really sloped parking lot but lot is close to a park bathroom. No cost amount posted anywhere on online or at the park but found out the next morning $35 a night!

Dog park is all stickers. Dogs were miserable.

Perfect place for kids & right nxt to the city pool. Always clean and very entertaining

The walking trail is in very bad shape. Long ruts and uneven places through out. Needs to be graded

Came 2 days in a row as I normally do come 2nd weekend of March. All for Worlds Largest Rattlesnake Round Up and Flea Market.

Luv the park, the walkin track & the aircraft displays r kool

All the water areas smell like pee and are full of trash. When we go i think we will start picking trash up and throwing it away. Teach my kids some community prideans respect. On weekends, when i get to take my kids; the bathrooms are not always open. Thats not cool.

Went to weeball game it was great

Still the some park from when I was a kids but grandkid like it. Was new to them to see tank and plane in a park

Needs a make over in a bad way. The slide is broken, paint is chipping, and equipment severely needs to be updated. The creek always smells so bad from the amount of garbage in it. Today, I saw a freaking tractor tire in the pond.
