Abby is amazing! Her work is detailed and beautifully crafted. Shes great to talk to and walked me through each step of what she was doing and the reasoning for it during my first tattoo. The shop is clean and has amazing art pieces by both artist around. Fantastic experience!

I had a botanical cover-up tattoo done by Abby a couple years ago that still brings me joy every time I see it. I got a small tattoo on my back in college (ironically also at a skip in Superior) that was an outward expression of an inside pain. It served its purpose for a long time, but I decided I wanted to turn it into a garden to commemorate my moms birthday ten years after she died. So clearly, there was a lot of emotion going into this tattoo.Abby did a phenomenal job taking the ideas Id sent to her and assembling them into a cohesive design. We went over that design together on arrival, made a couple adjustments, and then she got to work.I made it through about three and a half hours and was amazed to find that during that time, shed done all the outlining and shading in the style I wanted. At the time, I wasnt sure if I wanted color and I was to the point where I needed a break (tattoos are pretty darn painful after all), so she wrapped up a few details and we called it a day.I followed all the after care instructions and everything stayed beautiful and intact. I decided to keep it black for now, but at some point I may go back and add some color or extra line work.But in the meantime, Ive been super happy with the results. Id go to Abby again in a heartbeat; she listened to what I wanted, the cover-up was 100% successful, she was super nice and professional, and did a fabulous job on something really meaningful for me.

This is the most enjoyable tattoo Ive gotten. (I dont know if you know this, but tattoos hurt). Abby worked with me on the art and made it amazing. Its been over a year now, and the colors are still vibrant and lines are sharp. Im traveling over 1000 miles to get my next tattoo at INK Tattoo Superior.

I’ve gotten 2 tattoos from Abby, and both came out even better than I was expecting. Her lettering is crisp, straight, and even and she’s got a great eye for color. For my first tattoo at Ink, Abby was patient and supportive while I had a mini-meltdown in the chair and the finished tattoo came out awesome. Ink is a calm, fun, welcoming environment and I’d recommend it to anybody who wants a rad tattoo

Abby was amazing from start to finish! She responded quickly when I reached out to her for a consult. She listened to exactly what I wanted, and was able to combine my ideas with her own, to create two tattoos that Im in love with. I get more compliments on the two tattoos Ive gotten from her, than any of my others. Abby was great at making me feel comfortable in her chair, and we had a great time chatting and laughing through the whole appointment. I cannot wait to get back in her chair. If youre considering getting some ink, I cannot recommend Abby enough!!

She took my basic idea and came up with a design that was way cooler than I had envisioned in my head. I had a large (well for me anyways) multi color piece done by Abby over a year ago, and I absolutely love it. This was a cover up and was the artists own design. The original tattoo is completely undetectable and the art is fun, quirky, creative, and beautiful. The experience of being tattooed at Ink was one I tell people about often since Abby and Jill make such a welcoming environment at the shop. I recommend Ink tattoo highly!

Ive gotten several pieces done by Abby. She comes up with phenomenal designs and is really great about taking feedback and modifying the drawing until you love it.The actual tattoos that shes done for me are all wonderful; lines are crisp, colors are bold, shading is great.I cant recommend her highly enough.

The atmosphere is great, the line work is tight, they do a great job of balancing solid work without beating up the skin, and although mine are B&W... the color work Ive seen healed on buds is vibrant! Abby is a wonderful tattoo artist! She communicates well before the appointment and is very open about working with you on a design. Then, the actual tattoo is so good!! I love it so much and I get compliments all the time such as woah, that line work and, the shading on your tattoo is so good I cant recommend INK enough.

I have started a couple very large pieces on thighs with Abby and get compliments on them ALL THE TIME. She worked really hard on sizing them properly to fit onto my larger curvy thighs so they would look just right. She also tackled one that has all my beer interests on it. She took the time to look up multiple reference pictures of the items she wasnt familiar with and beer industry folks compliment it all the time. I cant wait to keep working on these pieces with her!

Jill and Abby are both amazing artists and their shop is hands down the most comfortable space I have gotten a tattoo at! Jill did my first piece last summer and this year Abby has tattooed me on 3 separate visits. Each time, I give Abby my ideas for the tattoo, she creates something wholly beautiful and unique They are both absolute rock stars, and have made me a customer 4 life.

I completely love this tattoo shop! I have gotten two tattoos done by Abby (who is amazing at art/tattooing and is a wonderfully funny and a kind person as well) and both of my parents have had tattoos done by Abby and my boyfriend had a tattoo done by Jill. They are both EXTREMELY professional and are great at making you feel comfortable during the process. They work with you to create art for your body which they then flawlessly transfer to your skin. This is the only shop I will go to in the Twin Ports. I recommend this shop to anyone and everyone who wants a great tattoo at great prices accompanied by friendly artists.

My niece got a tattoo here done by Abby about 3 months ago. The line work has random dots in it, and the ends of lines are just broken and taper off almost like its dotted. The lettering is also blown out. She however said she liked the tattoo, and that Abby was very nice and made her comfortable, and designed the piece how she wanted. She’s recently tried to book another appointment, and they just simply won’t reply to emails, I don’t know what the deal is with that but it seems pretty unprofessional.

I got a tattoo by Abby and I couldn’t be happier! There are lots of small lines and details that she was able to incorporate into the tattoo that I wasn’t sure would be possible. The shop has a great atmosphere and Abby was great- I can’t recommend her enough!

I was excited when Abby started inking as she is a well loved artist in other media. After friends started sharing their custom pieces done by her, I saved up for what I felt would be a larger piece to cover an old tattoo I loathed. Abby did a much nicer job than I imagined! I kept getting stopped and asked about the piece as folks were impressed by the vivid colors and details that pop right out. Months later I lost a dear friend to cancer and then 2 of my beloved kitties to chronic illnesses 24 hours apart. I was devastated and was touched when Abby connected with me about getting my kitties done. She not only captured my sweet kitties, she had great ideas that also incorporated things about my late friend. The drive home to Minneapolis was bittersweet as my kitties were forever with me.A short time after the ink healed, banker stopped me to inquire about the tattoos; she spent 20 minutes with me crying over the significant meaning and sentiment they represent. I send others to Abby and Jill constantly.

Abby is the freaking best!!! She worked with me on a cover up, and worked with me on timing since I live in the twin cities. We did the consult on my way to the BWCA and she did the actual tattoo on my way home! She is kind, talented, and I laughed most of the time!!!! I live in the twin cities and she is my tattoo artist. That’s how good she is.

Both Abby and Jill are great to work with and wonderful artists. Even in the busy season, Ive never had issues getting in touch with them via email, though I know they somethings cant stop in the middle of a tattoo to take a phone call or talk to a walk in.

I have multiple (8!) tattoos from Abby. She has worked very hard to beautifully execute my odd requests. Her eye for color is impressive and she is a perfectionist who obviously takes great pride in her work. The drive from the Twin Cities is worth it! The shop is a friendly oasis for people like me who find tattoo shops cold and intimidating. I have recommended Abby (and Jill!) to friends and will continue to do so!

I had extensive tattoo work before getting work done at Ink Superior and I can truly say Abby and Jill are two of the best artists Ive ever worked with. They are professional, talented, and hilarious to boot. I have 4 tattoos from Abby, 2 of which were done when she was an apprentice, 1 cover up, and 1 new piece. Even as an apprentice, I was incredibly impressed with her gorgeous colorwork and attention to detail. My coverup turned out perfectly and you wouldnt even know there was anything there before. She has always taken my tattoo ideas and made them even better than I could have imagined! I have one tattoo by Jill (so far!) with a crazy amount of detail. Jill was able to merge 2 or 3 pictures into one tattoo and I get so many compliments on it. I will ONLY go to this shop. The drive up from the Cities is totally worth it.

Abby did not live up to expectations. She left crooked lines, detail and colour was not well developed. The tattoo ended up looking flat. There was supposed to be metallic parts which she just used black liner for and skipped over detailing. Scheduling was a mess, I tried going there multiple times and she and I both thought it was at a different time. She did not use sanaderm and I can see a cut in my skin where no ink got deposited. I have been to shops much better than this. It was cheap, but cheap is never worth it with tattoos.

Abby has done all of my tattoos so far and she does an excellent job. She never fails to make me laugh and completely forget that Im being stabbed thousands of times.Jill and Abby are not only very talented artists, but the space they have created at ink will make you feel comfortable and welcome - from the art on the wall to the epic playlists - this place is badass all around.Go support this female owned/run buissness right now!

My husband had a tattoo done there on July 27th. When we were there they were rude, unprofessional and unfriendly. I will never set foot in that shop again. After the tattoo has healed there are spots of missing ink no color was packed in. He went to find out about getting it touched up and has now learned we would have to pay $40.00 for them to fix their mistake. Ink will not be fixing this tattoo. We never go there again or recommend them to anyone.

I have only good things to say about Ink. Matt O is a real good guy with 13 years tattooing experience, which shows immediately as you enter the shop. He was willing to work with my schedule and seemed genuinely jazzed about my piece. I wont hesitate to stop back in if Im ever back in Superior.
