No one attended me as I entered the movie theater just walked right in. As I entered the IMAX movie theater to watch Tenet my whole aisle was filthy, dirty napkins through the whole roll. Empty drink containers and that was just my aisle. So Im assuming no one is cleaning these movie theaters during the pandemic?? Completely unacceptable! Never coming here again! I suggest no one else does either!

Best theater I have been to, I always come back, great staff no matter what time or day, usually very clean, awesome recliner seats are super comfy. Food is made well, I have never had an issue with this theater at all. Condiments always full and clean, bathrooms are better than most.

Regals great budget wise. The screens and seats are no way near as compared to Cinemark.. but you can only ask for so much.I got unlimited plan for me and my wife its great as both of us are movie buffs ..

I went to watch Avengers: Endgame alone of course cause I need all my focus and attention on the movie. There was only like 3 other people in the with me so like talk about SUPER convenient. I bought a large popcorn and a large fruit punch and the total was around $20. Down side I had to pee 2 times so that took maybe five minutes from the movie I can’t get back. The actual theater was great, I had to pick a seat at the front window but I changed up my spot like 7 times till I figured out that the left back area in the front seating section, and pick the aisle seat Anyways I hope this helped. Btw Black Widow and Iron Man die, and Captain America grows old.

Movie theater is always clean and calm. No loud outbursts or disappointment from guest. The movie was engaging and intriguing. 8 out of 10.

During busy time all register for ticket are closed. Waited for an hour for ticket. By the time movie started. Couldn’t by online. Manager should be replace with a good management with minimum common sense. Very upset. All register are closed at 7 pm.

The service is very slow and takes a long time. They dont have all the menu available. Really bad attention.

This place is pretty standard as far as movie theaters go. However the seating needs some updating. The arm rests are not adjustable. I thought that was kind of archaic. Also, my friend and I ordered popcorn. It was salt-less and butter-less. These are two basic things that they need to get right. Service was great especially at the ticket counter.

Went to see the new Star Wars film. Lights stayed on after the movie started. Went and complained. Nothing. Went to complain again, then all lights but one bright light in middle of ceiling went off. Went to complain a 3rd time... Nothing. Stayed on the whole damn film. Annoying and unprofessional.

Located right inside the Oasis! Whether you want to go for dinner and a, shopping and a, or just a ! This theatre is the one for you! Nice environment, comfy chairs, and of course pop corn!Good theatre=good movie experience!Didnt enjoy the movie itself that much, no problem theres other things and places close by to entertain yourself with!

Hi, recently I review Regal Sawgrass& IMAX with 5 stars, I should explain a bit more why I gave 5 stars.I am not much of going to the movies, but when I do I like comfort, great snacks, refreshing drinks and my favorite popcorn etc.This cinema has all the comfort I like, I enjoy after the movie going to the stores and enjoy seeing the young crowd waiting to watch their favorite movie.Its a great place to go n see latest movies friendly staff and just enjoy an evening out with family, friends and your favorite snacks.Have a very Blessed Day.

The place was clean, although the chairs were not recliners, watching my movie was great. However, heres my reason for rating this place a 3. My movie night was a Tuesday, apart from 3 other patrons my party and I were the only other patrons in the movie theater (not great for business but we felt on top of the World having a theater for ourselves ) yet Customer Service was lacking. How could that be when there were only 8 people in the theater? Well, believe it or not in our communication with the Team Lead, he kept saying he didnt care. That startled me! Not that we were in need of anything, but his whole approach regardless of not having a full theater was just wrong. At the end of the movie, which we totally enjoyed; we tried to make suggestions about how to get that place full during week days as well as finding out how to get information about groups rates. Well, well if we thought the Team Lead was poor in his communication, who we were referred to was even worse, this lady had the sulkiest attitude. These people need to realize that having the right attitude and positive outlook can make a world of a difference in business.

The movie started 10 minutes late and it was freezing inside theater #5. We complained twice and were told it would be taken care of. It never was!! We were not the only couple that complained. After the movie we complained to the manager and she gave us 3 individual free passes. It warmed my heart but not my freezing arms and legs.

Got the regal membership, its only $18 monthly with unlimited movies! I just go show up, scan my card and enjoy amazing movies! I saw joker last week with friends, it was pretty awesome!

I have visited this location on many occasions and we’ve always had a positive experience. However, this weekend was an eye opener for my family and I. I don’t make it a habit to write negative reviews, but I have called the location on multiple occasions and no one answers the phone. I would love to talk to management to address a few concerns.

If you want the worst customer service, with uncomfortable chairs.... This is the place for you!I didnt have the pleasure of meeting the ticket service counter.The young guy at the concession stand (small Afro and glasses) was the most unenthusiastic person Ive ever met.He should be nowhere near customers, because the encounter went like this...Me: Ill have a Buncha CrunchHim: Yea, we dont have that. Whatever candy is on that stand is what we got.Me: You mean the empty stand?Him: Yuh..The most disgusting bathrooms Ive ever been in... And as we are outside the restrooms we even asked the ladies if theres was cleaner... And to no surprise, it was worse. Then an employee walks by hearing what we are saying and just looks at us and laughs.The only reason to come to this theater is because you have NO way of getting to another theater.... It was just an amazing experience! Its perfect just to walk around and the movie theater there has amazing workers who got the food and everything done right away! 10 out of 10 experience will defiantly be going back.

Bought tickets for 8 of us to see spider man in IMAX. $140 for tickets alone. The concessions worker was being completely rude to me for no reason whatsoever. To the point where I felt uncomfortable with him serving me food. The 2 large cokes ($7 each) tasted flat and super gross and we should have returned them for a refund but didnt.The popcorn was so stale it was as if it was popped days ago, yet we still ended up spending 58 dollars at their concession stand. Almost 200 dollars for a couple hours at the movies and Ouch. This place is beautiful (I like the 90s movie theater decor) but they have got to get their operation in order.Cherry on the top, I flushed the urinal while standing in front of it and it soaked my pants with a massive splash of urine and water (photo attached) never going here again. I wondered why there was only 15 people in IMAX Spider man movie on a Saturday night now I know.Even negative reviews of this place are getting canned responses. One reply to a one star review says we are so sorry that you had a bad experience at [Location] ..... are you kidding me this customer service extraordinarily sucks and please dont respond to this review with that please rqch out to us at our website contact page stuff it does nothing to solve the problem.I understand, the rent is high and electric and movie royalties etc etc cost big money and its hard to stay competitive and still offer a good experience to moviegoers. But if you dont fix these issues that are going on soon Regal Sawgrass is going to be gone very soon. Regal Magnolia is a 10x better experience.

This theater is definitely a good addition to the whole Sawgrass Mills Mall Complex. This location is clean and the staff is nice. Small arcade area and they also have a small candy machine area that serves up your childhood favorites like Gumballs, Gummy Bears, Sour worms etc.. In addition to the whole concession stand they have. They offer all your favorite movie time snacks. Had a relaxing parents night out and caught a late night movie.. enjoyed a beer ! ( they have wine too ) We used their photo booth to have a good memory of the night. I highly recommend this location if youre in the Sunrise area.

The first time we decided to head out to the Sawgrass, only due to the time the movie was playing. DO NOT GO IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR COMFORTABLE SEATS!!! I never even realized that not every Regal theater did not have recliner seats. I have been to a few Regal theaters. The movie has not even started and I feel like I am in the 1980s theaters. Seats do not even move!! Disgusted is how I feel. How to ruin a movie... Come to Sawgrass.

Would rate lower if I could. This place is disgusting!! Seats are stained with god knows what, spent over 20 minutes looking for a suitable seat. Shoes stuck to the floor because they apparently mop the floors with syrup. This place needs to be completely redone.

Without question the worst movie theater experience I have had. It looks like they recently had the seats reupholstered. I dont know what they used for cushion inside but the metal in the seats came right through and pushed into your back. I tried several seats and they were all the same. If I was alone I would have for sure left. The theater had a nasty musty smell. I wont be back.

The question to ask yourself before you engage yourself into going here:1. Whats the purpose of pre- purchasing your tickets?Be aware.....you pay for your ticket and your seats are occupied.... with a DOMINO Effect....everyone seats everywhere they want to... You may end up eating in the front seat ....looking at the screen straight.... Eh. Not the BEST movie theater aesthetically but not the worst. The concessions was a little hectic. But the ticket process was smooth and easy. The service desk was really helpful. Good movie prices! Parking was terrible, but thats to be expected in a busy mall like this one.

I always love an IMAX theater. We saw Oceans 8 there although they started to play the wrong movie... I wasn’t thrilled with 45 minutes of commercials before the movie started. The movie start time was 4:30 but the actual movie didn’t start until 5:15.

It was my 1st time coming down south to this Theater on my Birthday and the experience was Absolutely amazing. The movie quality and sound was fantastic!!!. This was a Great Birthday Experience for me. I will be coming back to this theater again. What was so amazing was that i dont get out as much or have a way to experience different places. I was just Grateful to be with someone who allowed me to enjoy my Birthday and i did at Regal Cinemas Swgrass 23 & IMAX. Continue the great work and the employees were just amazing there as well.

Seats of theater 15 are disgusting and too old and uncomfortable. We were surprise because the Regal of Oakwood Plaza in Hollywood are new, look clean and are comfy. We wont come back in particular because of very dirty and spots on the seats

The theater is great, but its evident no one knows how to schedule, did they think all the people packing in to see Avengers wouldnt want food and drinks? 25 min in the only two long lines open to get concessions. Ugh.

I used to come here for years, recently found a much better smaller theater near me that has a clue how to run a movie theater. We came here for the first time in years to watch a Fathom events movie screening of a Star Trek documentary, at which we were yo receive these one of a kind posters. The manager could not be less interested when we inquired about the posters, the popcorn was cold, the soda flat and tasted funny.... nothing has changed

Theatre is a bit old and grungy, but did the job! Kids saw Frozen 2 and enjoyed it! Was able to make a day out of our visit to sawgrass and did shopping, arcade, movie, and food on a rainy day in florida!

This theater needs a SERIOUS update. Doesnt have reclining seats and not enough room in between the rows. Customer service was GREAT

The problem with the theater is that it is old and dirty. Went for a movie today, it is very smelly. They havent renew the sits as other Regal theaters. Every single toilet was splashed or cover in #2. They have lots of space and all the stores around have been getting better. If they invested in renewing this theater, itll be so nice. Its a great location, but unfortunately a dumpster.

Went to go see the new starwars film imax projector stalled during previews took 15 minutes to get it going. Was annoying but other than that ok. It clean had good sound. Seat well marked easy to find.

It was a nice place and I had fun with the movie I saw, it just wasnt really clean. Everything was sticky and smelled funny. They were still cleaning the theater when our movie start. I understand you cant control everything but at least keep your theater up to date.

Cannot believe this place does not have the new recliner seats. The 3D glasses are so uncomfortable. They do not fold like the glasses at Regal Treasure Coast 16. The picture and sound from IMAX was the only saving grace. Great sound, great picture. Horrible seats, horrible glasses, and only had two registers open for concessions on opening weekend of Endgame with about 150 people in line. Come on now.

This theater needs some MAJOR help. The management team, food counter service and movie projector needs some instant attention. With a little bit of training and powerful management team this place would be enjoyable.

Went to see Godzilla king of the monsters in IMAX with my son we had a great time great seats Great Sound they have a lot of theaters and a large variety of movies.

UPDATE: The GM called me. She had no idea what was going on in her own theater. She said no one complained that day which in fact someone I was with got up and complained. I also watched other people storm out and complain as well. I called her out on it and she asked me what day I saw the movie. I was shocked because it was a 1 time showing at 7:30. I asked how she didnt know that and she said ok sir and hung up on me. Thats the general manager of this Regal. I cant believe she just did that.Where do I start. Walking into the theater was a disaster. It looked like no one cleaned that place all weekend. Dirt everywhere sticky counter tops and a musky smell in the air. Trying to order something was impossible. The kids working the concession stand didnt want to help anybody. The two people in front of me walked away. After he was unable to complete my order I walked away as well. Walking into the theater empty-handed I noticed the theater was completely dark. While navigating to my seat I noticed there was still garbage everywhere drinks in the cup holders and popcorn bags in the seats folded up. I was approached sitting in my seats because the theater sold the same seats more than once. The movie started 30 minutes after it was supposed to start. As soon as the movie came on the lights came on in the theater and they remained on the entire time the movie was played. I dont think I could ever come back to this theater.

We went for an afternoon showing during the week. Popcorn was hot, the restroom was clean and the staff was polite.

This place is truly in need of some updating. The seats were uncomfortable and didn’t look clean. Additionally, you could hear the AC every time it would turn on and off. The staff was very friendly and the bathrooms were clean however I wouldn’t really recommend this place.

Not great, not terrible. Generic theater experience, food and drinks are overpriced. AC runs cold and the seats arent horrifically uncomfortable, but its about as standard a theater experience as you can get.The reason Im giving them two stars is because of several bad experiences that most audiences probably will not deal with. DONT go see the special movie events here because they have no clue how to coordinate them. When I went to see Young Frankenstein, they couldnt figure out the code to unlock the video, so everyone had to go home. When I went to see The Shining, they started the movie 45 minutes early for no stated reason.

Went to see the new star wars movie in imax. The imax projector had a problem and made the whole theater watch 20 minute previews 3 times! The employees have told us many things such as the projector will be back on in 20-30 minutes, the movie will now be playing in 3D, the movie will forsure play in 5 minutes. In the end the imax projectors would not function correctly and everybody had to get their refunds or switch out a different time showing. NEVER COME TO THIS THEATER.

Here to see a Quiet Place and the theater looks like it has not been cleaned or sweeped for months. Absolutely disgusting. FILTHY. I will never come back here. this is insane.

This theater has plenty of movies to choose from (including some titles that most other theaters have dropped) and the staff (at least in the earlier part of the day) is very laid-back and make sure Im enjoying my experience.

Staff wasnt friendly or professional. No one said hello, thank you, welcome, etc. . Hallways were already dirty at the time of the first show. They do have a lot of screens though.

I came to this movie theater to see a Bollywood International film. The price was fair and the movie quality was good but the movie theater that I was in was very unclean. The seats had several stains on them, the floors and arm rests were extremely dirty, and I felt as if little bugs were biting at my legs. I am HIGHLY RECOMMENDING for this theater to properly clean their movie theaters! This should be a health hazard.

Absolutely ridiculous!! Extremely absurd!! 50 minutes waiting in a line at the food store just to buy 1 small popcorn and 1 bottle of water, from 7:35 pm to 8:25 pm tonight. There were a lot of people in other four lines waiting at the same time, frustrated and upset. This is the worst food store management ever, the worst customer service ever. This is what I call a very disrespectful business management with no notion about the importance of the customers time. I will never go back again to this place, and hope anyone from the direction area of Regal Sawgrass & IMAX could read my complaint to fix the store. Thanks.

Good thing they have assigned seating but concessions is a disaster. My son wanted to watch the new Avengers movie but I had to leave him while I came to get him a drink and popcorn. I have been waiting now 25 minutes. This is ridiculous. Good thing the movie is 3 hours long but at this rate, Im going to miss half of the movie. They either need more staff or a better organization of these lines because it is all over the place and Im pretty sure Ive been skipped a couple of times. Never coming back here.

The theater was great. I highly recommend going for a Sunday afternoon movie, not crazy busy. Love being able to pick your seat when you purchase your tickets.

The theater is ok, I think it should be updated. I been to better ones but this is the closest to my house so I thought I’ll give it a try. The main issue is the ac. It was hot as hell and smelly. Like are you trying to save on the electric bill?? I wore a sweater because I expected it to be cold as it should be. But not this one. I won’t be coming back for sure.

The concession stand is always a nasty mess, their rewards program could be way better, and they really need to get some recliner chairs. Those stadium seats they have are UNCOMFORTABLE! I give them 2 stars because of the wide selection of movies and movie times.

Theater needs to be updated. For the ticket price you would think that you would be getting reclining seats. Never went to a theater where staff came around to your seats to check tickets. Especially when theater is half empty. I think Ill pick a more updated and professional movie theater next time.

The boys had a blast at their first outing together. Watched the new Avengers movie and then hit the arcade. Very family friendly and movies run every 15 minutes.

I went to this cinema on Christmas day w watch the 7 PM show and accidentally left my purse there. After coming home late, I didnt realize that I don;t have my purse for 2 days since I didnt have to leave the house due to holidays. However, after realizing this I started looking for it and couldnt find. I came back to the customer service desk of regal cinema and asked if they had found my purse and the officer asked for description. As soon as I gave them the description, he handed me my purse and surprisingly, none had touched my purse at all. It was as it is with all my belongings and money. My Tommy Hilfiger bag with expensive Kate spade wallet inside with all my credit cards, licencee and a good amount of cash, completely as it is. I had left the hope of recovering the money and was mentally ready to block/cancel credit cards but surprisingly, nothing was touched at all by anybody. I cannot express my gratitude enough. I also asked the officer on duty if I can do anything to express my gratitude for the employee who found my purse and he is like, nope. All of our ushers are honest and trained this way. I will never forget this in my life and this incident will definitely remind me constantly to pay forward this honesty in the community. Thank you very much all the employees of Regal cinema Sawgrass. I am eternally grateful to you guys and am proud of you.

Been going to this theatre since high school 15 years loved it never had issues but lately movie theatre seats are outdated and started smelling like sweats, went to watch “Annabelle coming home” at hall 13 couldn’t enjoy any scene I believe the projector is outdated and the scenes are completely blurred at night scenes, reported to managers name mike I believe didn’t take any action unprofessional approaches. Hope everyone thinks twice before booking their tickets please !!

Saw Godzilla in the Imax theater. Great sound. The seats we had we comfortable. Large screen and very clear picture.

Its perfectly suitable for movie going. They keep it clean, the seating is comfortable, theres plenty of parking spaces & the staff is generally efficient & polite. If you enjoy going out to see a movie on a big screen with really good sound, this one fits the bill.

Great experience. Always love coming here. The only thing that bothers me, there are so less Fathom events on this location. Specially on anime movies.

Great movie theater lots of theaters and a IMAX theater only movie theater I use since the day that opened.....

Convenient if your shopping at Sawgrass ready to watch a movie or wanting to try a restaurant like California Pizza, Mojito Bar, Cheesecake Factory, PF Chang’s or Burgers at Johnny Rockets... a movie is a movie anywhere you go. Sawgrass Mall is upcoming with adding more restaurants and more shops. The theater needs to be remodeled and once this is ready it will be the perfect place to do it all. From Dinning, Shopping to end your day with watching a movie on the big screen. ( Michelle )

We have been watching movies here for several years now and I am pleased with the cleanliness. We would visit here more often but Hollywood is not producing products worthy of my time.

There touchscreen machine that you buy movie tickets broke while trying to get movie tickets causing us to be late for the movie and double charged me for the movies. Seats in theater not so comfortable. Hire real people not machines that break

Outdated theater from the 80s. Regal should be ashamed to offer this experience in a time where there are much better options. We love Regal at Westfork with the couch seats. Will not be back here.

I visit Regal cinemas often. Typically my visits at great but this most recent Sunday morning the absolute worst!! I prepaid my tickets to see the new Avengers also prepaid the snacks as I did expect it to be crowded. The line was to the door with people complaining about the wait. I figured this wont affect me since I planned ahead and Im just picking it up. I waited 15 minutes for an associate to cone and tell me they are understaffed and the food hasnt been prepared to come back in 30 minutes. Mind you. My movie already started. Fast forward, I went back in 45 minutes, the line is even longer. I asked the first associate I saw and he said he was just clocking in so he cant help. Pointed out the manager to me, I told him to get her he informed me that she is busy and if he went for her she would be upset!! What kind of service is this?! Finally she came over and said she cant help and I need the line in the other side. Luckily the first person who told me to come back in 30 minutes came out the back and said yes I told her that. She got the pizza but it was burned!! What a waste of time. I love Regal but this left me unimpressed. I missed part ls of the movie for thing a that could have been avoided.

Its a nice theater, but annoyed by large number of teenagers, who talk and scream (over-exaggerated)during a scary movie.

THE WORST MOVIE THEATER IN TOWN!. Opening night of the Avengers Endgame. Bought tickets online days before, when we got to our seats one of them had no cushion and had an out of service sign on it, yet they managed to sell it to me online. How is this possible? After almost 45 min of going back and forth to the front customer service counter they told me it wasnt their fault and told me and my wife you either take second row seats or you wont see the movie tonight extremely rude, no compensation, no apology, NOTHING! so you can imagine the frustration of having picked a decent seat ahead of time and ending up having to watch a 150 min film flooking up. Managment need to retrain their staff and if they cannot solve the problem at least be polite and dont treat customer as if they are a bothersome . Needless to say, not only Im not returning to this place but Im telling everyone I know and everyone who read this post to go elsewhere.

Upon waking into theater one could sense the negativity from the employees immediately. From the person working the advertisement table (person just stared at us did not say one word) to the 15 minute wait to purchase snacks and there was only two people in front of us. Just seemed like they were understaffed and the employees did not want to be there.The seating in auditorium 18 was beyond dirty and chairs would annoyingly squeak throughout the movie. I prefer not to bash the place but its not a place we would revisit.

The bathrooms were filthy,the usual overpriced food and drinks. You do not get drink refills unless you get the fountain large.The seats are small are do not recline. Feels like a class C airplane. One of the worse for a movie theater of this day.The room we were in for endgame did not appear to be cleaned. The floor was covers in popcorn and trash.

New update. I mistakenly gave this place another shot today, 12/1/19 to see the new Star Wars movie because it had a lot of seats available. No wonder! The seats are smaller than I remember, and this was the absolute worst experience Ive ever had at a theater in my life. They started the previews on time, but after the Mulan preview they turned on the lights and cut the film off. After 10 minutes of confusion and being told NOTHING by staff, they restarted it - but only this time they put on the 3D version!!! Yup. Thats right, a full theater had to watch the credits again but BLURRY as heck!! At this point, half of the theater went to see what was going on but the staff kept telling us it would be fine and it would start in 5 minutes. It took ONE FULL HOUR for an employee to come in and tell us anything. They gave half of the theater 3d glasses, told the other half it will be reset AGAIN but in the proper 2d IMAX format. 10 minutes later, nothing. Many people went to get a refund including us, but they then told us it will be on in 5 minutes. 10 minutes later, they came back to the theater to tell us we can go to customer service for a refund. WOW. Literally spent 2 hours in an uncomfortable theater, didnt get to see the movie we wanted to see, and we ran back and forth 6 times!! Unbelievable lack of management for one of the busiest shopping Saturdays of the year! My wife and I will NEVER give this theater another shot. We will definitely tell all of our friends, family, and colleagues about the MULTIPLE & CONSECUTIVE horrible experiences at this location.===original review below===Outdated theater with smaller stadium seats and an apparent lack of cupholders. I spent half of the 3 hour long Endgame movie thinking about how uncomfortable the seat was and basically had to use the strangers arm next to mine as an armrest. This theater is in dire need of upgrades!

I enjoy cinema in this place, but it needs more cleaning

Went to go see Avengers: Endgame on Sunday 28th and the employees were ridiculous. There was a huge line at the concession stand and everyone was in the line to see this movie, missing a straight hour of it, because (#1) the employees were too busy chatting with each other and when a customer asked to speak to manager, an employee (dark skin, skinny, wears her hair in a ponytail) brushed her off and mumbled under her breath. Not only that but they only opened 4 out of 7 of their concessions with the long lines they had. Moreover, at the last minute, they told us they ran out of popcorn????? How do you run out of popcorn?????I really upset because me and my family missed the 1st hour of our film to be said that they ran out of popcorn.

Low quality screen, super uncomfortable seats, huge long concession lines and definitely not the best crowd!!! I could easily spend an extra $100 on popcorn and drinks for my party but after more than 20min in line, I just gave up. Hopefully I never come back here again.

Terrible customer service and a lousy theater. Paid to see a movie...preview ads started with no sound. I found an usher who was able to get someone to fix the sound. At movie start time, the screen goes dark and silent. I reported it to customer service. Worker said, “Oh, there’s a problem with that projector.” He offered to switch us to another movie because our movie wasn’t showing in another theater or give us re-entry tickets for another time. When I asked how long he were gonna let us sit in there, since he obviously knew something was “wrong with the projector,” he averted his eyes and blamed an unknown usher. All I got was 30min wasted on ads and still haven’t seen the movie.
