It’s beautiful place for running, walking and even gathering with family. Open area if you want to use your drones, airplane toy or kite. It is suitable for all ages and it has a lot of parking lots. Very gorgeous and Green during spring and winter. It starts getting golden yellow during summer and fall.

Weve been visiting baylands for more than 15 years now. It has everything a nature lover needs - trails, birds, water, trees and can do so many activities - biking, photography, duck pond, water surfing, picnic or just sit back and enjoy the biplanes landing and taking off. My kid loves to ride bike here as well.

Its a good park for walks and runs, also fun to spend time with family or friends in the shade. Felt quite dry during the fall season so nothing magnificent about it. I was hoping to see water bodies around but I guess I should revisit during spring.

This park has so many different little pockets, you’re guaranteed to find a corner to call your own. The picnic areas have running water and outlets, too. Something very unique to the Bay Area, RC aircraft (including drones/quadcopters) are allowed in this park.

In general the park is a good place for a walk or a picnic. There are walks along the Baylands Preserve, open fields, rolling trails that are particularly fun on a bike, playground equipment, adult exercise equipment, and community gardens. The down side: if you are there the wetting time of year, it can be a bit buggy.

This is a multi purpose park, with a huge area. Great place for running, walking and get together. There is a huge open space, where folks can fly their drones. There is a parking fee of $6 per car, which is little bit too much to use the park. There are many benches, BBQ pits. Park is generally busy. There is ample parking spaces available.

Amazing refuge in the middle of Silicon Valley. This place has enough variety to interest every one.Key elements is the wildlife refuge status of some areas. That and ample water attracts a lot of birds. Wide open areas as well as shady clove of trees. Bike and running path as well as baseball fields.Only issue is the smell from nearby waste facility.

Baylands is a beautiful park at the end of Lawrence Expressway near 237. It has very nice picnic areas and a huge grassy area. This is the City of Sunnyvales designated remote control flying field and is very popular with drones and fixed-wing aircraft on Saturday and Sunday mornings. A tip: this park is all but abandoned on the weekdays. There is a $5 parking fee at the gate, but you can get a yearly pass for $20.

Ideal for hiking (biking too) for those who want to avoid strenuous activity, because the trails are on level ground. You may catch the post-tide scene if you get there early. If you walk about a mile or two toward Mountain View, there are nice picnic areas, and even a restaurant along the trail.

Ive been going here ever since I was little. Now I go here to go running. Its not the same as I remember it. The parks are smaller now, I was going to take my sister and nephew here, but now Im like eh... Not that it wouldnt be a good time for others, but ever since they did construction and made them smaller, its not the same... I do see people flying model planes here though, thats always cool, and people doing yoga. Overall its still a good spot to run.

It is very peaceful here. Multiple sand/dirt packed trails along with a nice boardwalk that takes you into the heart of the marsh with a bench at the end so you can rest and observe wildlife. Clean bathrooms and nice play areas if you have smaller children. Would have given the park 5 stars but the grassy areas are quite shaggy & this is where most of the picnic tables are.
