Nice staff, and didnt have burnt popcorn (thank god) small and quaint. Seats were comfortable but no recliners like others. It looks like a home theater system.

The management is great and they handle issues as soon as they are aware of them. They always want to make sure you have what you need. Awesome price too. Love the new seating they put in and the assigned seating. You are always sure to be able to sit together when theaters get sold out. Would definitely go again.

I come to this theater from Goose Creek. It is completely out of the way for me but, the tickets are always cheaper than everywhere else and the snacks are, as well. Butter and butter salt is available to me for self-serve free-of-charge (which I love because Im a total popcorn freak). The theater has never been in disarray and Ive never had bad customer service from them.I came to see Frozen II tonight with my little ones and it was literally the best experience Ive ever had. Not only was the movie super great (some parts had me cry-- I mean, Im not crying, youre crying!), the theater was clean and very presentable (I see you, new chairs and carpet), but THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS IMPECCABLE. This guy at the snack counter was very patient as I figured out popcorn and drinks, he politely offered suggestions as to what deal I can get AND he offered to make small snack boxes for my children with a tray to carry them in. Listen, this might seem as if Im boasting about nothing but, I am genuinely happy about this. No one from any theater has ever made accommodations available to me such as this. Ive always been watched as I struggle to juggle several large drinks and popcorn, candy, etc. (cant trust the kiddos with this kinda stuff, you know).Anyway, this has always been my favorite theater and tonight just made it better. I dragged my best friend out tonight just to help with snacks and rounding the kids up. I now know that I dont need to do this anymore. I am sorry that I didnt catch this young mans name but just know, you helped this struggling mama out tonight and I left that snack counter with a smile on my face.

I always Opt to come here to this Theater because the prices are the best. For awhile we quit going to the movies due to the extreme prices of tickets concessions and whatnot. Now if theres a movie I cannot wait to see I will go here without major hesitation as they are fair priced unlike many other cinemas. Recently saw 1917 Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and The Joker.

You cant beat the prices at this theater. It is so much more affordable than any other theater nearby. It is a smaller theater, so get there early for seats. The popcorn was delicious and fresh. Buy the large to get free refills and they will give you cups to share with your group. The bathrooms were cleaned.

Had a great night at the movies last weekend

Cinemark Movies 8 on Ladson Road in Summerville is a great place to experience movies. The individual theaters are just the right size to get good seat and for it not to be too big so you can really enjoy everything. I have had many great movie experiences here over the years and they make it the best they can.

Been coming here for years now as a date night with my girlfriend turned fiance and soon to be wife, very safe location that Ive seen and always kept a good crowd of people in various ages. Police outside late nights after dark so thats a plus as well! Prices are reasonable and quality of the video/audio is great.

Not too much fuss here, but I found the tilted seats extremely comfortable for viewing from my favorite seat - front and center. I saw 1917, which was OFF THE CHARTS AMAZING!!! The print we viewed was perfect, and I loved the screen - condition, size, etc. Its not an expensive place, and like I said before, not a lavish setting, but quality where it counts so great bang for the buck.

Not a bad theater. Seats were suprisingly comfortable compared to last time I was there. Guessing they remodeled since. Only down fall was the popcorn. Not claiming to be a connoisseur at all but the popcorn left something to be desired. Not super crunchy, kinda like the butter popcorn in a bag for $1 you see in the gas station with no kernels. So popcorn got only 3☆ but the price was 5☆ and then some. Well worth going.

THEY HAVE RECLINER CHAIRS NOW!! Which made my movie even more enjoyable. Love the fact that the prices for the movies, are still affordable. Especially for a family outing. Now the food prices are another story.

In all my years of living I’ve NEVER experienced this. What’s the purpose of having assigned seating in a movie theater that will not have and usher to seat you to ensure your seats aren’t being sat in? This act tremendously impacted our views of this theater and will NEVER visit this establishment again. I completely understand reserve seating if there was an usher to ensure that seats are not being sat in but this wasn’t the case. Suggestion: have usher to seat pple for the first 30 minutes of the movie time.

The recently installed new seats are really comfortable and the prices cant be beat. Stadium seating at the other Summerville theater is nice, but not worth twice the price of tickets at Cinemark. This is our go-to theater, especially when we can hit a matinee for less than $4/person.

The upgraded reclining seats were amazing. Felt great after a 3 hour movie. Atom ticket ability made it easy to purchase tickets and choose seats.

BEST PRICING I’VE EVER EXPERIENCED AT ANY MOVIES IN MY ENTIRE LIFE.Only thing I’d say is as an upgraded rewards member that pays for membership each month, we should at least be able to get 1 free refill on the Icee, if we’re really considered valued customers. The profit margins to high not to at least do that much for us loyal customers.

Had a mix up with showtimes and got sold the wrong ticket time. Ms. Cunningham ( I believe was her name) went above and beyond to accommodate us. Wish there were more managers out there like her.

Its good for the price. Floors werent sticky and the movie played without a hitch. Doesnt have some of the amenities of the other bigger theatres but for the prices it is a good experience and we will go again soon.

Other than the location I really enjoy this theater. Everything is priced way cheaper than the competitors and it is always clean when we go

Weve been at this location twice within 6 months and both times it was slow and unorganized.Signage should be used to direct patrons to the proper lines (both times there was one line for online tickets, one to purchase them, and both do concessions. They yell out which line to be in as more people crowd into the small lobby. It irritates you if you happen to be in the wrong one and have to move.Inside, the age really shows. The entire place could use a facelift, nothing major, but a little something would go a long way.

The employees are helpful and friendly.My theater opinion is not so favorable. The room for movie was nasty dirty! My feet were sticking to the floor from what may have been spilled soda.The order of the room was a horrible stench.The owner needs to power clean the room and sanitize it to remove the horrible oder.I was in Theater room number 3.Nauseating experience.Lion King movie was GREAT. Go see it somewhere.

I enjoy going to this theater! My boyfriend took me here, after repeatedly saying theyre robbing you at other theaters (price wise)It was definitely an older theater. It may not be perfect on the inside (older seats, the arms dont raise up, not a ton of room from the other seats if youre in the middle, etc) but Id rather go here.They have a good variety of concessions, and the staff is pretty friendly as well. Ive never really had any issues when going there, other than the ID thing. They also have a ton of shirts, plush, blankets, and more for sale with current movies on them! Its pretty cool!!The only thing I dont like is when you go for rated R movies. I completely understand not wanting under-age kids going in. But.. I just turned 21, my boyfriend is 25. I dont always bring my purse in, so its annoying having to bring mine as well to show them mine. Especially when it states you can go as long as youre accompanied by someone over 21. Well hes 25, so why I do always have to waste time showing ID.They also have a no outside food or drink policy. I understand every theater does, unless its a Drive-In Theater. This one isnt as strick as the others, but Ive never been somewhere where they want to search your purse. Being from West Virginia, thats never happened there. I also lived in Ohio for a few months, and it didnt happen there, same with Kentucky. Ive been to Imax theaters and whatever else the fancy ones are, and I have never been asked to show my purse.Again, this one isnt bad. But the others in the area are!! So just be aware!!The ID thing, and searching purses are a huge issue for me.. But, the price is what really gave them a 5/5 for me.

Saw Frozen II here - was crowded but what frustrated us the most was lack of staff at the concessions. Really slow!!!

Everyones very nice but honestly they let the bathrooms and floors get so filthy. I strongly recommend you bring sanitary wipes to wipe down everything You touch here

Every thing was very good and I highly recommend this movie theater.

The theatre has been updated with comfy seats and the price of admission is half of other theaters near me.

Wish this place could get a small renovation however, not a bad price for the experience. Main issue I had was with the staff. Getting snack nearly took half an hour. Lots of staff but half of them are just staring at you. If the staff would be more optimistic and actually help at the concessions appropriately I would actually go here all the time instead of driving 15 minutes in the opposite direction just for some service.

Small but good, has good pricing for movies and nice seats, just the concessions are expensive.

Its great. Cant find a better price for equal experience. Very small so if you go on an empty day, it can feel almost as though you bought the whole theatre for yourself. They care very much about being clean. Only issues I have with the place is that the screen may get blurry during previews, but it is quickly corrected. The concessions are pricey, but name a theatre with cheap snacks! Those are long gone. Plus with the price per ticket, I cant complain at all.

The prices are the lowest anywhere in town and the staff is professional and very friendly. The screens are okay in the sound system is just okay as well. The biggest issue for me is the seating. The chairs are uncomfortable to sit in for the duration of a movie and, since it is an older theater, are tightly packed together all the way around. Overall, still at theater I would visit for a movie. Movies are offered in 3D as well. For the price, its hard to turn down.

This theater is pretty fantastic and stays fairly full, there are only 4 registers at the concessions stand and sometimes they are not all open and it will get crowded with backed up lines. I have been here many times, the prices are great and so is the service!

Went there on a Sunday to see Avengers End Game. Great prices and snacks. Other people there ruin it. What happened to common courtesy? Putting your cell on silent or off while watching a movie?, Keeping your feet and legs off the seat in front of you, and being quiet so others can hear and watch the movie

Theater is in dire need of an update/renovation. The only reason I gave it 4/5 stars is bc their ticket prices are super cheap for new releases. Unfortunately you get what you pay for, screen clarity leaves a bit to be desired and the seats definitely arent the most comfortable

It was fine, the only thing I didnt like is they play a lot of commercials before the movie.

Honestly the best deal to go to a movie in the area. I just watched Captain Marvel, at a matinee showing, bought a reusable drink cup and popcorn bucket that can be refilled the rest of the year for $4 each. Total cost today between the cup/bucket and my ticket? Under $19.

I get to see the new movies at such a reasonable price and the employees are very friendly.

The tickets are extremely cheap and there are plenty of food and drinks to choose from! The movie rooms are not very spacious but the Film is very high quality and loud for you to hear. I would 100% recommend this theater over any other theater.

Great theater. The tickets are affordable, the concessions are affordable and great! Chairs are a bit outdated but comfortable just the same! When I went, there were barely any people in either movie I decided to watch which made the experience much better! All around great experience and I always tell people to go here!
