Service good in this coronavirus world. Had tuna melt & Yuengling.Pretty warm Carolina day on the clubhouse porch.
This is a great course and extremely affordable, especially if you enjoy walking. The back 9 is a little more of a hike but overall, it’s a great course and offers a fantastic round of golf.My son and I have enjoyed every round a couple of times a year and especially love the front nine. The views and the wildlife present are a nature lovers dream. The staff has always been friendly and inviting. The shape of the course has always been pleasant. Our last trip out the greens were rolling great.Definitely worth getting a round in If you live in or are visiting the area.
Wow! What a great day. From a beautiful golf course, to a delicious lunch experience, Legend Oaks has it all for an affordable price. I will be back soon.
Course is nice....would be 5 star if they did special pricing for pga hope members
Enjoyed a great day out on theyre golf course. The course was in terrific shape. Fun day.
Course in best shape I have seen. Fun day for corporate golf outing.
Sensational experience. Great staff...great area...great people. Par 5s are great and houses ste very scenic.
Challenging course and accomadating staff. Valued priced for a great time with your golf buddies
Beautiful course, and challenging. Range is weak, cant even call it a driving range, basically irons only.
Good place to T them up.
Went out Father’s Day weekend .course was in great shape .I even got a free beer .I will be back .
Nice coarse!
Good
Course is in great condition, as the greens have recovered from aeration. Quite a bit of water, so be sure to use GPS or some sort of guide until you become familiar with the layout. It is important to get off the tee box here or your second shot is dead. Staff is friendly and customer-centric from the pro shop to the restaurant. Only complaints I have are maintenance out manicuring the course after midmorning and I would expect a more golfer-friendly driving range. The pros outweigh the cons so I will be back at least a few more times this year.
I love this course! I play golf all over the country and for some reason when I come here, it makes me feel like Im at home. Its one of the best values for the month of any courses that Ive ever played. The staff is always helpful and polite and theres always a chance to see gators somewhere on the course!
Great food, decent prices. The golf course is a great deal for the price. The only blemish is there is no driving range. Other than that, well maintained course with nice greens.
Fun course, challenging but enjoyable. The greens were recently aerated so a little bumpy affecting the roll. Greens were slow despite being bone dry. Need more water, but it was a 105* heat index when we played (6/19/18).The cart paths are broken up by tree roots in several places making it super bumpy. Teed off at 4pm for $29 which is a great deal with cart. Will be back.
Not even busy. Wait, wait, wait. If youre hungry dont come here. Go to a restaurant that will actually serve you. Id rather go to McDonalds.
Everything about this course and the staff is excellent. Very exciting place to play and the greens are amazing. Lovely area in Summerville and I met the owner and know the pro shop workers...very awesome people. Thus course much better then wescott.
New driving range is a complete joke. You can only use it if you buy a round, its 5 buck a bag and the bags only have 30 balls. Then they dont tell you until you get out to the range that it is irons only even though its a 300yd range. On top of all that, the range is right between the 1st and 18th fairways and there are no nets to keep things separate or to prevent people getting smoked by a slice. Horrible business plan, horrible setup
Good value. Not at the level of Dunes West, but okay if youre in the area and have some time to kill. DO NOT PLAY after it rains .. doesnt drain well.
Good place to grab a bite. Pool members can order from pool and have delivered during weekends in summer months. Friendly staff.
Everybody was really nice, GREAT food and the golf course pretty good as well. For its price its one of the best golf courses out the in the low country.
Nice, interesting course layout. Challenging for the average golfers.
The course was in good shape, and the weather was great.
Rude, inconsiderate, and bad customer service! In January 2014 I visited Legend Oaks to see the property for my wedding reception and had the pleasure of meeting the events manager. She gave me several packets concerning Legend Oaks policies. On or around February 27th we paid $500 to reserve the date of Friday, December 26th for a small reception. Although, we paid the deposit, I did not sign a contract or agreement. We paid another $125 payment towards our balance in April. After careful consideration, we found another location for our wedding reception at a much better price. In late April I asked Mrs. Theresia Ware, the events manager, for our money back from Legend Oaks. She responded that “I was killing her,” because I was changing my mind and we couldn’t have $500 of the $625 back. On Friday, May 9, 2014 I contacted General Manager Mr. Jim Chickarello, told him our situation, and respectfully requested all of our money back ($625 total). Mr. Chickarello agreed to look into the situation and get back with me. Almost a week later, on Thursday, May 15th, I called Mr. Chickarello and left a voice mail with my name and number requesting a response. I never received a call back. On Monday, May 19th I called Mr. Chickarello again and asked had he looked over my file. He responded that he spoke with Mrs. Ware, and that Legend Oaks could not refund my $500 deposit even though I had not signed a contract or agreement. He said the only thing he could do was refund $125 and hung up the phone in my face. Before hanging up on me, I courteously explained to Mr. Chickarello that I never signed a contract or agreement and never had a taste testing or any type of services to deduct from my $500 deposit. I even asked if he would give us half of the $500 back, and he said no. He said they were keeping my $500 because it was in the paperwork that they gave me, and they reserved that date and lost money on booking it for someone else. So I asked if someone had call to reserve that date specifically, and he replied that he didn’t know. I explained to him that it was still seven (7) months out, and Legend Oaks didn’t lose any money with our reservation or us backing out. Mr. Chickarello did not want to hear anything from me and hung up on me.
Always a 5 Star Experience! We love it!!!
Nicely maintained. Not too busy.
