Staff was friendly. Well managed course! Greens were a little hard for my play. But still give 5 stars!
Beautiful venue for a wedding. The wedding was under a tent on the golf course. And the reception was held on the covered outdoor space that was perfect. Enough room for the seated dinner guests and a nice dance floor. The service was impeccable. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed toasting the bride and groom!
Solid course, but could use some work. I have played Miler/Summerville Country club many times, but am still not impressed with the tee boxes. Most of the course is in good shape, but teeing off is rough when it is sometimes mostly dirt or sand. Still a good course, especially for beginners.
Was a nice place. Went for a friends 1 year old birthday party. Great place for the kids to run around together while adults can just hang around and keep an eye on them. Was well decorated.
The facility is BEAUTIFUL, the staff was very cordial and helpful. The wedding they held was AWESOME.

Place needed a paint job years ago. Was surprised to go back recently and they hadnt painted anything. Cart paths need repaving.Bar prices are fair, kinda good actually.Several sets of tees to challenge any length of golfer. Greens are very slopey, but dont take breaks, haha.

I have played here on and off for about 18 years and today was about the worst shape I have ever seen the course even prior to the revamp it had about 8-10 years ago. The fairways have tons of debri, their is no grass ?? Where is the grass?? Hit a drive down the middle of fairway and laying in mud puddle no rain for days ? No sand in the bunkers like hitting off concrete, mud all around the greens just poor conditions you need a lot of seed put out and some drainage work
This place is great. Love just meeting my girlfriends for a drink. My guy for dinner. Very professional staff. Well maintained establishment.

Golf course was in terrible shape, tee boxes had little to NO grass. Greens were unbelievably uneven, patchy and bare. Would never recommend playing here, even if it was free
I got married in July. Trae Ray was amazing ! She helped me with everything and answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. I was going to have someone else do catering but so glad I chose to go through Summerville Country Club. It was delicious and reasonably priced! It was all I wanted and more. I would definitely recommend to everyone.

I chef d my sister in laws wedding keep in mind Im a paralyzed so I had to enter from the bar area which was fine till they locked a deadbolt to the room so I missed the ceremony the room was where I was setting up all the food they knew I was in a wheelchair and said they had ramps to accommodate which they had one and I couldnt eat at the table with my wife cause where the tables were set had stairs I couldnt even share a dance with my sister in law I cooked everything and set up and couldnt enjoy the wedding I was crushed the kicker to it all was when the lady came in screaming and drunk saying we had to leave cause she was tired this was at 1015 we had the place till 1100 pm so she had her staff which were minors throw all our stuff outside and breaking glass dishes well the reason they were locking bar door cause all the minors were in the bar drinking beers if you plan on having your ever there think twice shame on you for letting minors drink in your bar hope they dont kill themselves or some innocent person and if the lady would put down the drinks she would manage the place better as it was a nice venue Ive been in the hospitality industry for 35 years and ran a resort for 15 years and would never treat a customer like that shame on you
I agree with many of the comments that is needs some maintenance. While it may be a historical place, a coat of white paint would do wonders as well as removing dead plants and limbs to make it more presentable. Also we were told that we would have to clean up by 9am the day after the wedding. After being there @ 10 am to set up for a wedding (which was not enough time - never completed due to the time constraints), my son missing the ceremony due to him trying to finalize preparations, attending the wedding and left at 11pm so we could be there early the next day to clean up. As soon as we got home, we received a call from an upset Mother of the bride that we had to return immediately to completely clean up that night. When the linen company asked when to return that night, Trey told her 9:30 pm, but NEVER said a word to me (organizer) that it would have to be picked that night. On top of it she was rude and unprofessional. She has since called the Brides mother apologizing and wanting to know what can she do. NOTHING, the next wedding scheduled for September 2019 will not be held here. The future groom will also no longer golf at this course as a result. Will Never step foot on this county club again. DO NOT BOOK IT UNLESS YOU WANT GRIEF AND A BAD TASTE IN YOUR MOUTH.

A+++ Quiet place to go walking.
Summertime and the course is in great shape. There are some interesting holes. Personally I hate the 18th. But what can you do? However I do have 2 items that I would give a thumbs down for.#1 are the cart paths. There Are Places youd think youre driving down Railroad ties.#2 are some tee boxes.For those of us who like to tee up you should not break the tees finding a place to put them in the ground. Im an old fart with stage 4 COPD. It might take up to a minute to get it placed and take me 4 to recover, with oxygen. Its a nice course and the staff are quite friendly. So go down and give it a whirl.
I recently joined paying a full year membership. Then a few days later I got notice I wouldnt be needing a years membership. She explained membership are rarely refunded but made an exception. Would have gotten five stars as my wife says you need to invest in Umbrellas around the pool. Thanks

Love the SCC! Everyone is very friendly, professional and easy to work with. It is a beautiful venue for any event, and Country Club Catering truly makes some of the best food. I would highly recommend Summerville Country Club to anyone wanting to host a tournament, event or just wanting to spend the day on the course! Five Stars!!!!!

Nice golf course it does need some maintenance done to clean up the course along the edges. the course plays well and the greens are smooth. The club house is pretty rundown and not much selection in equipment, but the price to play was very affordable. the pace of play was okay. I plan to go back in the summer and see if it gets better.

Summerville Country Club/Miler is an awesome course! The greens are well-maintained and the course is in great shape. Easy to walk or ride with the beautiful landscape/scenery. The clubhouse is historic and relaxing with some of the best food Ive had. Ive played in a few tournaments here and they are really fun and challenging. Also, there is an outdoor pavilion which is a really great event venue. The staff is professional, hard-working, and friendly; I always feel like family here! Im looking into becoming a member soon. I love this place and look forward to playing here more often!
Been going in for the last 4 years for the best burger in Summerville. Great snack bar. Played 9 holes with a cart for 22 on tuesday twilight hours great time on the course

Great facility for golf, tennis, and especially the pool. Staff is extremely helpful, and pleasant. True Southern Charm.
The area was really nice and spacious. The environment was great. Just did not like the inside -it had a horrible smell.

The events at the Pavillion are ALWAYS a draw. They bring many together for entertainment, food, friendship, and merriment. And, almost always some fine community organization benefits with each affair. Hats off to Trae and Lee Ray! They work HARD to manage the many functions right along side their staff. All take their roles seriously to ensure successful events roll out. Summerville is blessed to have this venue to enjoy, and I do often. We are blessed to have this venue in the heart of our town.
The pool is really nice and somewhat small. It is maintained very well.

Good food, friendly saff typical public country club. Only been there to eat no clue on coarse conditions.
Not sure why its called a country club. Inexpensive. Staff is very nice. Course sucked. It rained a bit and it seems that drainage is non-existent. So much puddling and sogginess. Clubhouse and bar is literally a shack. Pretty gross. Never seen anything like this place.

Course was in nice shape. Greens were excellent. Really nice atmosphere. Guy with a beard who was on mower was rude twice to us. Smart alec too when he went in clubhouse. Id replace him. I was inquiring about memberships and guy who works pro shop was very nice. Girl at bar (teron) I think her name was should get a raise. Very friendly and was hustling to meet all the needs of the people. Price to play golf for the day was outstanding.

A very pleasant and enjoyable experience, the course has a few drainage issues on the first couple of fairways but other then that was a well maintained course, staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend everyone try this course if you are in the area.
