This is a medium size beautiful park situated in a small lake front neighborhood. Its a good place to do have a family picnic, walk and bike around, and portrait photography. There are tree lined paths leading toward each white crossing bridges and couple pavilions. We took the couple photos during mid-day sun but because the mature trees shaded the path, we can avoided most of the harsh mid-day sun. The only draw-back is there isnt many parking spots and google direction does not point you to the parking spot, but once you get there, you can spot the parking lot easily by the direction of the white bridge + pavilion and take the small path to drive in. There is bathroom at the park.

Peaceful circular walk. Relatively sheltered all the way around the lake. Great area for family photography. Recreation area for kids is not the best, but it is well maintained and safe. The light off the water during the golden hour is particularly good. Some large catfish in the lake too.

So chill here ! And easy to walk

Nice park with dedicated parking for New Territory Residents. Two covered areas with tables, bathroom, playground, electric, lake and performance area on a small island. Often association will have events. Wonderful old pecan trees, squirrels and birds.

Awesome huge park! Playground is mulch. No shade structure other than trees. Slide was wet in the early morning. Swings, slides and public restrooms!

This park is best part of New Territory. You need key to use restroom. The grounds are very well kept.

Cool place to hangout

Great park. 20 min walk around the lake. Water fowl, turtles, fish and squirrels galore all year. Bathrooms locked; residents and gazebo renters get a key. Non-motor boats and fishing allowed. Always something going on.

Nice park well placed for walking - lake fishing

New Territorys Pecan Park is one of the best private parks in the County . Its on a former pecan tree grove and the mature trees provide beauty, shade, and pecans! There are two large picnic pavilions, two playgrounds, and a charming gazebo on the lake. This is a GREAT place for pictures, a quaint, arched wooden bridge leading to the gazebo. There are ducks, and sometimes even swans, and tons of turtles on the lake. Fishing is catch and release. There is a walking trail along the lake.
