Inspiration Stage puts on very professional youth and adult shows throughout the school year in addition to offering summer camps. They put on 13-14 musicals and plays each year with performances open to the general public. Most of the productions are performed by youths ages 8-19, while a couple productions each year are adult productions. 3-4 Mini-Troupe productions in addition to acting classes are offered as additional training opportunities. During the Summer, they offer half-day Summer Camps in the mornings and evenings. They travel to multiple theatre festivals and competitions each year including the Junior Theatre Festival in Atlanta, the Junior Theatre Festival in Sacramento, as well as the Texas Nonprofit Youth Theatre Conference.
What an AMAZING place! These kiddos ROCK! The time, dedication, and commitment from Mandy, Sarah, Jeff, and all of the other staff is like no other! You WONT be disappointed!
The theater looks small on the outside but on the inside it has a large size. The plays put on here are absolutely amazing. If you have nothing to do I would definitely suggest you check out a play put on here. They have a park right outside so children can play. Its also located in a school area. The stage is located in an area that is very accessable to most of Richmond and Sugarland! The building and plays and really amazing!
Mama Mia was amazing, the cast was fantastic. The stage and all that went into it was great. And cheap prices for a play.
This historic venue is simple and intimate. The actors are not given a lot of technical crutches, so the energy is real and fun. Its a perfect stage to showcase the young actors who give their all to the shows. The one odd aspect to the facility is that the restrooms are in an adjacent building.
Inspiration stage has a way of putting on a play, and making sure they they canonize themselves as the only official version of it. The director is so good at casting, and the cast is so good at acting and singing, that the stories leap into you and stick with you for months, if not years. Any other adaptation, even the broadway ones, just doesnt seem right after watching an Inspiration stage play. I feel privileged to have seen their versions of Heathers and Sweeney Todd in particular.
Recently had two of my children in a camp here. They had a great time and the performance at the end of the week was great. Only complaint is that my kids weren’t clear on how they were given a part or what was expected during auditions. They both said their was no choice and they were just “given” something and no chance to change it was accepted even though it was asked.
Great productions. Talented young people.
THESE KIDS ARE SO TALENTED! MY MOTHER AND I HAVE ENJOYED EVERY SINGLE SHOW WE HAVE SEEN. OUR FAVORITE SO FAR IS ALADDIN. BRAVO!
Best performing arts academy so far. Really good staff and great set pieces, and I went there and started in the musical. Definitely recommend this place. Love ya Mrs. Mandy!!
Awesome place! Great talent! Highly recommend
Weve only seen one production here, but the facilities make us eager to see more.
Its a great local theater! Family-friendly and lots of fun.
Very talented group of kids. Definitely Rocked Camp Rock!
Inspiration Stage has been such a blessing to my 12 year old son. He has now been in 7 productions and traveled to Sacramento to compete at the Junior Theater Festival. He sometimes spends 5 days at week at rehearsal and has never complained once! The staff is very professional and treats every child like family. I have never seen my son so happy! The Director, Music Director and Choreographer spend so much quality time with the kids to put on such professional shows. We will never go anywhere else!
Mamma Mia was wonderful
Fun but pricey. The actors arent paid. Why the expensive tickets?
Great show. Very talented cast.
Peter Pan was put on perfectly!
My soon to be 10 year old son just marked his 1st year at Inspiration Stage and what a year it has been! He has learned singing techniques and choreography and has developed a discipline of being prepared, whether its school or theatre practice. He calls iStage his second home, a place that he truly craves to be, where they teach and mentor him to be his best self. Along with regular season shows, he has also enjoyed iStage Summer Camps. He has grown so much in this last year and it is all due to the leadership and talent that surrounds him at iStage.Looking for a unique night out, buy a ticket and catch a show! You will be amazed at the talent that this Theatre produces!
Always a great show!!
