They had exactly what I needed to feed my reptiles as well as a great selection of reptiles and fish for sale. I havent seen another store like it in Martin County. Staff was friendly and informative which was a great bonus.

I bought mine son his first snake here, and it was a great experience. I personally dont like snakes, but the staff helped my son know what he was going to need. He picked a male hypo Columbian red tail boa. The animal was gentle, and easy to care for. I am thankful to Aquatic N Exotic Inc. because my son is probably going to ask for another boa in the near future.

Aquatic n Exotic was started 9 years ago. The outside of the building is a old hanger with high ceiling that offer good ventilation. Sometimes there are enclosures out front with lizards and reptiles sunning themselves. Recently theyve been updating and adding some phenomenally large aquariums. One side of the building houses reptiles, frogs, and snakes. Make sure to stop and see the live two headed turtle. The other side of the building houses fresh and salt water fish. There are many exotics available. Check out the bumblebee groupers. There are several tanks for live rock, coral, plants and anemones. The center of the store has a large assortment of food, displays, decorations and tank supplies.. I really like the assortment and availability for both the terrarium and fish aquariums I own. There is a wide price range for avid collectors and small pet owners. However, it does seem as though theyre outgrowing their store. The ceiling could use some repairs and organization. The owners are extremely knowledgeable and offer great advice. All the staff are friendly and helpful. I would go here any day over a big box store. You cannot replace the knowledge and hard work these gentlemen have put into this store. This store is a gem.

Ive been through three different Services over the last five years, I wish I could have found Dana and Zack in the beginning it would have saved me a lot of trouble. They are the best!

I’ve recently finished setting up my 125 gallon African ciclid setup with the under Wet/dry sump and it’s absolutely remarkable. I went to there store with 0 knowledge and there staff is beyond amazing in every aspect from customer service to simply being knowledgeable in there trade. There extremely patient with you and tend to your every need and want and answer all your questions and concern with extreme precision. I highly recommend them to all! I’m beyond proud of the help and guidance they gave me in to successfully starting up my tank and 2 weeks later it’s still up and running with 0 issues. I wish I could post a video of my aquarium. Absolutely remarkable. They have a huge selection on fresh/salt water type fish and not to mention there reptiles. The store is clean, staff is amazing, and great prices on all there material! Please go in there and check them out even if you don’t need anything. Thank you aquatic and exotic!

These employees are so nice and they really know their stuff. They dont make you buy things you dont need. We went because we want a coral reef tank and the employee spent over an hour explaining everything we need now and what we will need later.

I went 2 days in a row and both days the smell of the store was so bad. I bought a fish and tested the water with a test strip and the nitrates were off the chart (over 200ppm) gh was also off the scale at (over 180ppm) and the ph was less than 6. All the fish in the store had a dull color and the tanks were filthy some covered with algae with fish still in them. Definitely not worth paying extra for unhealthy fish.

We are under a mask mandate in Martin County. I have patronized this business for 8 years. Since I bought my salt water tank from you last year I come in there every week and have spent well over $2,000 on that tank alone in your shop. My husband sacrificed 6 weeks of work to try and stop the spread of covid. We only go where we need to go and have not even eaten out or had take out since Feb. I take care of his 95 yo grandma who depends on us. It is crucial we do everything we can to make sure we stay safe so we can keep her safe. I was pleased to see the employee wearing a mask, however that is futile when one of the owners was standing over us at the register without a mask on. Very disappointed. I have ordered my own RODI system and will be making my own saltwater from here forward and will not spend another red cent in this store due to the owners complete disregard for their customers safety.

Came in to purchase a gecko for my son but there were none in the store. Was told by the employee that they take the reptiles to shows on the weekends and that my best bet would be to come back on Tuesday or duringthe week. Decided okay, Ill come back one day during the week. Came back on Wednesday and was told that the reptiles are all being packaged up for a show in West Palm and that I could travel to West Palm this weekend if I wanted to buy one or I could come back next week but the reptiles are only on the store 1 day when they arent being packed up for shows. A lot of rudeness came across. I chose to ignore the comment and just look around. Came around the corner to see a girl holding a snake with the same rude employee telling her about all the times he was bit by snakes and lizards, talking over her and her parents that were asking questions. Telling the girl that she should just get the snake, it doesnt matter that her parents said no. Wow! What customer service that is. I then hear the girls father say, I will never buy anything from a place that constantly interrupts a customer, tells someone to buy something without a parents permission and was such a know it all. Not sure if this is how the staff always is but after seeing that interaction and being told to drive to West Palm for my own purchase I can say that this was my last visit. My visit warranted the 1 star. Hope others have a better interaction.

Beautiful Exotic fish! Prices are reasonable. Frozen fish food is cheaper then the chain fish stores. Gorgeous fish in their oen aquariums. Be careful walking around tho as there is water on the floor from the tanks.Staff was friendly an helpful. Offered to order any fish you want. First time discount given so super cool. Definitely recommend

Bought my two Crested Geckos here and they’re in perfect health! (Minus them having no tail but that’s okay haha I find it kinda cute) the staff is very understanding and reasonable. They helped me with any question I had even when they were busy themselves. They’re always so quick to help. I even sometimes go in just to see the animals and never once have I had a single dirty look for it haha

I go their every week for mice worms an supplies for my reptiles. The employees are very respectful and Educated . They even let me bring my Cane Corso in lol (Italian mastiff).

I live 45 mins from this fish store but we don’t have any near me.. so i knew this one has been there forever so i made the trip one Saturday and i was not disappointed. I wish i knew the name of the guy that helped me because he helped me on anything and everything, every question, as well as telling me other helpful information on starting my first saltwater tank.. Great selection of saltwater fish,coral,rock and everything to do with it and same goes for the freshwater side of it.. Very Pleased

I went here a couple months ago looking for a new place to get fish. The selection is enormous and out of what must be hundreds of fish I didnt see any dead, only one unhealthy (popeye.) The fact they can keep so many fish healthy really speaks to the quality of the staff, I was impressed. Also, I very much enjoyed looking at the beautiful saltwater tank they have up front. Nice corals. My only complaint was the bettas. I understand stores keep them in little cups so that they dont fight, but the water in those cups was downright filthy and most of them didnt move or respond when I walked up to them. Also, the cups are placed so they can see each other, which is stressful for them. I hope they fix this, I felt bad for those poor little guys.

My mom and I walked into this store a few days ago to buy some supplies for a hatching turtle that I had found in my swimming pool. I bought a light kit, pellets and a platform for basking. We went home and I decided to let the turtle free in the canal that is in the backyard of my home. None of these items were open and/or used. On the receipt it said no refunds, all sales are final. Exchange or store credit. Had I known that in the store I would have never purchased anything. My mom and I just went in the store to get a store credit and we were approached my the owner and asked can I help you? My mom said I have a return the owner replied very rude and unprofessional started getting loud and in my mothers face. She asked if there was a sign stating that all sales are final, he said it doesnt matter its on the receipt and then he flipped over a cardboard sign behind the register and said actually its here. This was very inappropriate on his end being he is the owner. This is something that should have been posted on the door upon entry and should have been told to my face. The items I had purchased were expensive and I do not shop here and after this experience Ill make sure I never do. I was trying to help an innocent creature and in turn my mom and I were very disrespected. This is a horrible place and the owner Josh is a nasty human being. I dont give a damn who watching or looking. The owners comment was wrong. He got loud with my mother and said it doesnt matter its on the receipt when all she asked was if there was a sign. He was getting loud. His policy is his policy because hes a rip off and it was taking me too long to make a decision to keep the turtle because I give a damn about animals and I wasnt leaving it in a shop to be sold, so I did right by the hatching and set it free where it belongs.

Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They take the time to explain everything to first time snake owners like us. Josh has always been very helpful and will make sure we have the correct information about something before we buy. Can’t wait to buy another snake from here!

Decent fish store for the locals. Highly recommend putting prices and names on your tanks. Your employees were busy tonight with other customers for me to have one going around telling me the prices of the different fish. Im sure I wouldve bought some if the prices and variety was readily available to the customer.

I bought a beautiful gecko from them at repticon atlanta. I absolutely loved her, so did my fiancée. We got her home and she acted funny from the start, she refused food and was lethargic. When I messaged them to see if they were even willing to do anything for me or even be helpful in the slightest I was met with rudeness and told it was probably something I was doing. I owned 2 before her, one I raised from a baby and the other was half blind and flourished once I got him. I knew her behavior was off and everything I done and had was the same as I had for them. I had ultimately chalked it up to rude breeders and I would help her myself. I took her to the vet, $100 vet bill down, he wasnt helpful and showed me I needed a new vet. I watched her deteriorate, doing my best to syringe feed her carnivore care, she still lost weight. From 40 oz that visit to 2 weeks later at another vet down to 28 oz. He gave me antibiotics and told me to continue the carnivore care. Finally hope had set into my heart, weight was being put back on. The past 3 days she refused to open her eyes, and was biting everything. My hope was for not. And if it hadnt of came to this, I wouldnt be leaving a review. I held my precious Elektra, suffering and still fighting for her life to her last breath. She died in my hands today, a very swift turn to the worst. I had literally hung up with the vet with my concerns and she went limp. Not 10 minutes later I woke my fiancée and she died in my hands. I watched her little life leave her and my heart broke. I dont even care about the 2 $100 vet bills I paid, it was all for her health, which she was in poor health when I bought her. That Im sure of. This place will tell you they dont sell sickly animals but my poor Elektra is proof of other wise. They have ruined Repticon for me. I cried my heart out and struggled with my good bye when I buried her. This is something no one should have to go through when they buy a pet. She should have been happy for a good several years, death is not what that precious little being deserved but it was what she got. After both her and I fought, her little strength finally gave and she left me. Ive never been more disappointed in anything in my life.

This is one of the best reptile and fish stores in Florida. I bought an Indian Pond Turtle at Repticon from this store. I brought it home and gave it everything it needed but it died on the first night. I called them to tell them this and they apologized and said I could come to the store in Stuart to get another one. I came in the next day and they were very apologetic about what had happened to the first turtle I got at Repticon and were happy to replace it. The store is awesome inside. Tons of different lizards, turtles, frogs and fish. If I lived closer to this location I’d come here to get my pet supplies more often. Now the new turtle I got is healthy and active. I’ll be recommending this place to some friends who also have lizards and fish.

Amazing store. Merchant is very well-informed and experienced. She wont sell you a pet unless you are confident in your pet selection. This helps reassure the pet will go to a good loving home and live a long life.Disregard any negative reviews involving people being upset that they were not sold a pet. It was very likely because they were not fit to own an exotic pet.

Went there on a trip to visit a fish store a little farther from home. Was not disappointed. Fish section was large, help was friendly, and though they didnt have as many types of guppies as we were hoping, we still picked up three fish.Adam even helped us after we had to have our car jumped!10/10, would visit again, but ideally without the need for jumper cables.

This is my go to place for my bearded dragon’s food and necessities. Not only are you greeted by two dogs when you enter, the staff work hard to help as many people. Josh is the owner and he was very straight forward and helpful when I had a few queastions in regards to my lizard.

Called to get information on a caiman lizard I purchased from they stated it was captive bred. I asked if i could get information he very rudely states he could not get me any information from the breeder and that it against policy to get any information. Very shady in my opinion. I will not ever be purchasing for this store again for those Be careful purchasing any reptiles or animal from them without proof of what they are stating.

Came in earlier today and had a great experience. The wait is very low, and they have so many different and exotic animals that never fail to amaze anyone coming in. The staff are VERY knowledgeable, even the owners son! Recommend!

Great selection of Fish and Reptiles!

So this is my revision, I had recently had a few issues with this establishment, after voicing my concerns the owner was more than willing to speak with me and work out the issues, in fact, he sought me out to assure the issues were resolved (In less than 3 hours time). The pricing is very competitive on certain things however for the quality and service its 100% worth it. The live stock is well cared for and that goes for the plants too. The owner Josh is beyond understanding and knowledgeable. He is willing to listen, assess, and assist in any concerns you have. The store gets busy at times so dont expect to be waited on hand and foot. It if youve got some patience this is the best place for miles and miles. Theyre understanding of each individuals situation and willing to help and provide the best guidance on the Treasure Coast! Ill continue to make the 30 minute drive out regardless of my need just for the respect and knowledge I receive from this establishment. Thanks again Josh! Ill be sure to see ya soon!

Biggest selection of reptiles that Ive seen. It seems like they used to have a bigger selection of salt water fish though. Their fresh water fish area seems to be taking over. Still the coolest store of its kind in the area. Staff is always very nice and helpful. Prices are on par with other pet stores.
