One of my favorite spots to stop and just be. Amazing views of the water and light house. A couple of great restaurants to grab a bite to eat. Just an over all great place to be.

Chill place to hang out and beach comb. I saw father and sons fishing, people meditating, young girls on roller blades and people imbibing with a cocktail furnished from the local establishments. I have a feeling that the freaks come out at night lol.

Stratford Sea Wall is a good place to sit and eat lunch. Its fairly peaceful and a long as its not low tide its okay. As far as being considered a tourist attraction, Im not sure if go that far but you can overlook the ocean which can give a sense of tranquility.

Stratford seawall is becoming more and more popular of late. Unfortunately this means more regulation. No longer is fishing aloud from the seawall, just too many people and little kids. Also 2 hour parking limit signs are posted. If you can handle that it is a beautiful place to walk along Long Island Sound, see Stratford lighthouse, and swim at Russian Beach. After you can get a bite to eat at one of the two local restaurants where you can sit and enjoy the sunset and a drink or an ice cream.

A great place to visit.but I miss fishing from the wall, I always met great people there and always caught fish. Always.

Pretty busy most of the time, excellent place to watch the sun rise over the sound though.

This place is 2 blocks from my house so you can imagine I’m there all the time. My only grief with it is the sorta rocky beach - hard to walk around barefoot. It’s a gorgeous view with very close parking, 2 great restaurants nearby for drinks or food, everyone is friendly and it’s never too busy. The view is gorgeous and it’s always clean. Definitely a must see to get your beach fix. I just wish the beach was full sand. The water is the Long Island sound so it can be cold and there’s waves but it’s awesome.

Cool beach area, good food around Rileys by the Sea and the hotel. Good ambiance, good service all around, bar and great view. Nice upscale beach houses and locals. Awsome spot. Not sure its open for public except people consuming in restaurants and bars.

This is such a lovely beach with a nice class of people unlike west haven beach people get to enjoy the water and can have a quiet time with friends and not have to deal with yelling and screaming and unnecessary rowdy behavior. This mayor cares and visitors can tell. Great job Stratford !

Beautiful place to walk, maybe half mile total up and back, but only about 30% of the people walking, or sitting on the wall, wear masks! Covid is not gone yet people!! Most other places I walk, many more people wear masks. Dont know what it is about Lordship?

Great for fishing. But dogs are walked on the beach even though there are signs that clearly state, NO DOGS ON BEACH

Excellent to return to long island sound. Spent better part of my life out there fishing with my friend Bobby c itsbeen 26 yrs. Since I seen him last but today wereu ited our friendship. I miss stratford ct. Not to far away now inbethel ct. It was a great. Day.

This is definitely a hidden gem in Stratford on the road less travelled type places that surprisingly feels like youre somewhere far, yet not too far out the way, if that makes sense. We were playing in the surf and listening to music being played at the restaurant across the street, when we were done playing in the water we sat on the sea wall and just took in the majesty of a July sunset as the music played on; a magical feeling that you only get on a summers night when the weather is just right!

One of my favorite places in the whole world for 60 years. Many people feel like same way. Nostalgic. Natural and unspoiled.Not a great swimming beach. Good for walking and fishing off the narrow stony coarse sand beach. You need a town sticker for your car so go with a resident.

This is about the best place to see the sound in Stratford. Built a long time ago partially by grandpa Spada. Bring a lunch and a beverage or 2 and enjoy the view!

Relaxing beach walk along CT shore away from traffic. Walked the sea wall shoreline looking for colored sea glass in surf rocks, very relaxing listening to just the sound of the surf.

One of the best parts of Stratford. We had been going here for years when Marnicks was here and we hope to continue to come while Little Pub is here. :)

Minimal parking that was all day on Sunday but the next day on Monday was 2 hour only and got you ticketed

We live in Stratford. We have gone there for years. We missed the Roller Rink. Now we miss Marnix Ice Cream. But we love the Stratford Sea Wall. When my husband and I go after a busy day; we feel like we are away on Vacation. Its beautiful. We thank God thank we have this repose just five minutes away.

Awesome place to go to clear your mind and spend time with the family. Veru small beach type area dont expect the full thing and I didnt see lifeguards so swim at your own risk. I just go to clear my head and recharge with the family. My mother likes to collect rocks and stuff. A few places near by to grab a a bite and some drinks pretty cool stuff. Love this place.

Nice views of Long Island sound. Unfortunately you can no longer fish from the sea wall. Major disappointment.

This is a great place to go park your car and look out at Long island sound while youre having your coffee our lunch its a nice walk with some beautiful views

Absolutely lovely views of the Sound. The seawall has good parking with a wide area on the top of the wall to either sit upon or lean against for pictures. You can watch the Long Island ferry travel back and forth. Nice place to.enjoy beautiful views.

Very nice public area along the L.I. Sound. Ample parking. Small grassy area and beach. Popular with fishermen. A couple restaurants with outdoor seating to enjoy the view.
