Silver Springs Park

The dogs have taken over a pond that folks enjoyed for many years - they’re putting it to a better use! It’s fun to go and watch dogs playing in the water. SSP is probably one of the best places to have a picnic or gathering in the area.

Safe and well maintained. larg playground that made for all kids to have fun. There are ramps for wheelchairs. Rangers patrols take rounds in the park. Different areas for different activities.

Have never stayed on the camp ground. Walk by there with my dogs, it looks nice.The woods are wonderful.

For a free hayride it was just fine. Younger children would have loved it. Not scary at all

Love silver springs! Theres the awesome dog park (but small kids are supposedly not allowed in).. The playground is great for all ages and abilities. The ground is mostly a nice soft rubber material. And theres a lovely typically very clean bathroom close by. Theres much more to do here but these are the things we have explored and enjoyed!

Excellent place for a hike and relaxation. The trails arent long, but still beautiful.

Very colorful, large playground with many different slides and activities. Playsets for ages 2-5 and 5-12, infant and child swings, and a dual swing! There are also many other activities to do at this large, peaceful park! Dog-friendly!

I enjoy the wooded trails for mushroom hunting, the poison ivy and mosquitoes dont bother me, the litterbugs and people who take their dogs there off leash do! The playground is ok, except for the parents who speed past to get to and from the baseball fields.i really enjoy the birds, especially the hawks.

Large park with playgrounds fenced in dog park baseball and basketball courts. Hiking trails are well maintained but the poison ivy and mosquito make it hard to enjoy .Nice bathrooms and picnic pavilions. Not sure what purpose the long wooden deck serves but it is a great place to sit and enjoy the fireworks. Watch out for the poison ivy growing up the railings and the giant groundhog holes

I Went to watch A baseball game and had A MAGA great time. The fields were nice and the park was clean. This park system is so nice Trump should build A wall around it and serve Two scoops of ice cream to everyone who comes to celebrate TRUMP 2020 victory to save Americans from socialism!

Large, clean, well-managed city park with many amenities, including a world-class dog park, short but beautiful hiking trails, and one of the few city-owned RV and tent campgrounds in the country. Excellent staff also.

Clean park with an awesome dog park. Clean facilities and the gazebo area are powered with power outlets. Awesome awesome find. Will be coming back to visit more.

Basketball courts shut down and rims removed from hoops. Im all for social distancing, but my taxes pay for this court. This is not acceptable.

Awesome place

We attended the end of summer blast both days. There were many activities and vendors to choose from. The journey tribute band did an excellent job and the fireworks were great.

The dog park has a lake to swim for your dogs, and the kids park here is amazing!

Handicap accessible! Thats a plus when it comes to a playground with equipment. When it rains, the mulched area can get muddy and a bit flooded, but the non mulched area is always really nice and ready to play on!

If you have a dog, this is a great place. Fenced in swimming area and a place to hose them off.

Great little City run campground on an unexpected place.

Largest park in Stow and has many things to do for the family. Two shelters that can be reserved. Access to the Summit Metro Parks hike and bike trail. Basketball courts. A rental hall with kitchen. Bow Wow Beach the the dogs. And my favorite, a fantastic playground. In fact, I would rate the park three stars. But the playground is excellent. My son loves to play there.My reason for the four stars are the picnic tables. They are not well maintained. Most dont have cooking platforms. And there are not many of them. They could use quite a few more picnic tables! Especially around the playground.Other than that, there is plenty to do for the family

This is the best park in Stow, hands down. We bring our kids here all the time to play on the playground. Its always a blast! I definitely wish there was more shade though.

We stayed 2 nights in our rv for only $15 a night! Each site has a picnic table, fire put, electric. No wifi but cell signal. Dog friendly, quiet, pretty. Dump station and water available. Friendly, helpful employees, thank you Cad and Andy. Convenient to Cuyahoga Valley National Park, shopping nearby. Would stay again.

We love this Park! Bow Wow Beach, fantastic playground and sports courts, camping, hiking, beautiful trees and trails, and right by the bike n hiking trails!

Lovely park, very close to Cuyahoga National Park. Only 20 amps, but we watched our consumption. Trains lulled us at night and Canada Geese patrolled the perimeter.

Very nice park a lot to do for kids, dogs, adults!! We have used it on several occasions!! The road to the pavilion needs paved! Too many pot holes!!

The park has little sections dedicated to the interests of a specific age group all combined to make a really nice and extremely big playground

Dont get me wrong, I love this park. My favorite spot to go to take my dog at bow wow, hang out at the park, or just walk around playing games! But my issues are the staff for what ever reason hates pokemon go players, which from what I can tell other then the basketball kids and dog park is alot of their visitors. They kick them out, and complain, and even complain to Niantic the creators of Pokemon go themselves. They say we mess up the grass which I can understand, parking in the grass does seem like a big issue but how come they cant even keep a pothole filled? They fill them and the next day I come and its another giant hole. They are small bumps either they will straighten up ruin your tire and break your rim if you go anything above a crawling speed.
