Such a fun laser tag experience. Kind and informative. Will definitely be coming back!

Its very fun! Good for birthday parties or just having fun. Its straightforward, clean, the staff are excellent, and there are entertaining games for waiting. Parking is good and decent. They also have a bouncy house towards the back, good for little kids.

Outside the laser tag arena, the facility itself is decent. The larger room for a party with two bounce houses was large enough to have all the party members there without too much trouble. Cleanliness was not the best, as there was equipment everywhere (ladders, brooms, etc), things were a bit dingy. There were racing arcade machines, shooter arcade machine, air hockey, claw games and basketball arcade games. There was also a life sized Predator model at the entrance. The laser tag equipment wasnt the best, it seemed a bit hit or miss as to whether a person would get a vest/gun combo that would work well. The first one I got I couldnt actually hit a person unless I was very close, whereas, the second one I got, I was hitting people almost 3/4s of the way across the arena. Where it did shine was the arena itself. I enjoyed the two levels, and the obstacles in the arena. It seemed (at least in the dark) well kept. I also liked that there were two monitors in the arena itself so you could check your score.

We had high Hopes and expectations for here. We looked up the hours before leaving our house at 6 thinking sense they close at 10 we would have plenty of time to play but we arrived and they said they were closing at 830 actually. So keep that in mind when you go. We played a couple games. Air hockey table barely works at all. And we played. Shooting game that was fun. Lazer tag arena however is awesome. Its a large 2 story arena. BUT our vests wernt registering when we would shoot eachother. Eventually we just stood in front of one another and started shooting to see if maybe we just had God awful aim. But it wasnt our aim. It was the vests not registering the lazers. After that lackluster L.T. round we went back out into the main lobby and decided maybe to just play another game or 2 before the drive right back home but we were told at 820pm they were closed very abruptly and had to go now.Maybe if your having a party and spending a lot of money your experience will be different.

Great staff! Great workout as well. My vest did go down mid-game but the girl behind the counter (red hair) got me back in the game in less than 30 seconds. Love this place!!

Went in today to play with some friends. When i walked in the girl who was there greeted us. She asked the guy who was with her to run the counter because she got off at 4 (it was 5). He told her he was busy and for her to do it. She did and was super nice about it. He then asked her to take in another group about 20 minutes later and she did that too. She came out to ask him a question and he ignored her about 3 times before she just gave up and handled it herself. When she went to help another group he pulled out his phone and was watching it for a while. This would honestly be a 1 star review if it wasnt for her.EDIT : Glad to see that this issue was addressed. As a woman who works in fast food I completely understand how it feels to be treated poorly by coworkers and its reassuring to see that the behavior isnt tolerated by the owners. Also changing the review to a 5 star :)

Staff was great, blonde girl put in the extra effort to make my 4 year old feel comfortable as he was scared of the dark at first.Later saw her cleaning and putting a band aid on a small cut another little girl got on her hand from falling. The girl was on the verge of tears when it happened and by the time she went back in she was laughing and happy. You can really tell when a company cares about its customers and it shows with this place. Didnt get to interact much with the other staff but if they are even half as friendly as this girl was towards the kids and parents then it is still 5 stars for me.

Great customer service! Girl with red hair really made sure we were taken care of and checked in multiple times! Love this place, will definitely be throwing parties here in the future

Hi there my son is skipping

Came in today to spend time with my family and service was great. They were fast and welcoming, our party host (i think her name was lonna?) was incredibly nice and patient. especially with the kids. Will definitely be returning :)

Amazing place kids loved it. Definitely will be back soon

Paid for 3 sessions thinking wed get to play 3 full sessions during the first minute of the first session one of my groups vest wasnt working so we all left to notify the staff she seemed annoyed that we all left and said with a slight attitude if they were working then they have to be inside we wanted to restart to match because its pointless to keep playing when one person is switching the vest but I didnt want to make a fuss, after the second session I was told we had to take a break to let one group go ahead of us. I was a little irked because I wasnt told that before we started so we waited. After we waited 15 mins we asked if we were up yet and were told another group was about to go before us. So basically we would have to wait over 30 mins for the third session so I just asked for a refund but they couldnt do that just gave us a card for 5 free sessions. The lack of customer service was appalling and the fact that they just started at you not smiling or being engaging to their guests was poor customer service. I dont ever want to go back ever again so Ill just give those cards away. The only way Id ever go back is if they had employees who actually know how to give good service. We also went to get snacks waitied 10 mins just to even order we ordered the nachos and pretzel but they had no cheese they should take it off the menu if they dont have cheese . If you want to poor customer service with an attitude then this is the place for you.

Its a cool place but needs to be more organized

Pretty fun, music sounds like Russian hardbass without the russian

Me and my family had a great time. Super fun a must try... Staff were amazing and patient will my my 5 year old. Very easy for children to play.

Went with the family to have some fun worst trip ever. We were told a 40 minute wait. We played a few games of pool. We order two orders french fries. They brought out one order of fries and I told her I order two orders of fries. About 15 minutes later, the girls said we are making your fries. After 10 minutes, the girl who took my order at the beginning said that the order of fries I received was two orders. That was BS. I asked them how much longer for our Lazer tag game they said 10 minutes. I went back up there 15 minutes later and she said she will try and get us in with the next group. After an hour and 15 minutes we got a refund and left.

Today was my sons 9th birthday and i wanted to make today special so we visited 3 of the top birthday spots in stockton (chuck e cheese, skyzone, and zapzone). By far we had the best experience here! when we walked in i was immediately greeted by a girl with bright green hair. Hi welcome to zapzone, what can we help you with. I had explained it was my first time here and instead of her just pointing to the screen and saying those are our prices like i had expected, she pulled out a printout of the prices and went through how much each session was, timing, offered a tour of the inside, and even said i could go in with my son if he was uncomfortable or scared! My son and his friends were so obsessed with how cool her hair was because it was glow in the dark as well lol. She joked with the kids, made sure they felt comfortable as they were a little scared at first, by the time the game actually started they were super excited and ready to play. She was more then patient when my son asked for help and even set the vest to flash and say it was his birthday at the end of the game. I spoke with the other girl there and she showed the same amount of friendliness. All in all, staff were amazing, the experience itself was great, and for six dollars a game one of the cheapest Ive seen in a long time!!! Now my son wants to dye his hair green just to go back tomorrow lmao!

Came for lazer tagGot Lazer Tagnuff said

Went to Zap Zone today for the first time. It started out great, but as the day went by, it became not so great. I understand that there were parties in front of us for laser tag, but we waited over an hour just for one round even though they said the wait would be half an hour. Some machine for the arcades were not working perfectly and not much to play with, but it did not bother me so much. What brought my mood down was the customer service of someone who worked there. There was some workers who were really friendly which made my day art Zap Zone better, but this guy completely ruined our mood. They started being rude to us after we spent an hour and 30 minutes there (we stayed for 3 hours because we paid for 2 laser tag sessions and waited over an hour for each session, also the same guy who told us the wait would be half an hour only). They seemed really friendly towards the parties with birthdays there, but me and my friends were just there to enjoy laser tag, the arcade and play pool. We werent told when our session would start, so when we would start a pool game, we were forced to give up on the game (even though we paid money for the game already) and hurried to go play laser tag. He kept being rude and saying NO REFUND, but they forced us out of a game without any prior notice. For our SECOND session, I am 100% certain that we were cut short of our laser tag session also. And guess what, it was the same rude guy who monitored us. A usual session is supposedly 15 minutes, but we only got about 10 minutes. Kind of a rip-off, but we didnt want to make a scene, so we just left afterwards. First time trying out this place, but probably the last time with this kind of customer service.

Went in with a couple of family members and friends and the lady in the front (young lady with white crocs) greeted us with “welcome to zap zone my name is hayle (or hallie) how are you today” and before paying she explaining how everything worked as far as game time, rules, making sure little kids were comfortable and not scared...this is something that Made me and my group feel very welcome because the girl made each and everyone of us feel welcome and happy.im looking really forward to visiting again hopefully with a bigger group next time.

Thank you Paul. We had an awesome time. Thanks for giving a memorable party for my son. U went above and beyond.definitily will be coming back

It was closed how tf was i supposed to know if its good or not?THIS WHOLE REVIEW WAS MEANT AS A JOKE BECAUSE MY PHONE TOLD ME TO SAY HOW IT WAS AND IM SO SO SORRY. IT CAME OFF SO RUDE.

I just had my daughters birthday party here. The owner went above and beyond my expectations. They have excellent customer service and they were very attentive to our needs. I was stressing because I forgot candles for the cake and they were able to provide them so I didnt have to run to the store. All in all this is a great place for family time, parties or just to dropping off your kids. We will definitely come back!!

Super awesome for laser tag! Might be confusing for the first game..

An inexpensive venue to have a birthday party. We had a small get together for our 5 and 3 year olds birthday in the jumper area. The cost was reasonable, we had enough food for all invited, and the two hours was just enough time for the kids to jump, eat, and open presents. Staff was attentive and welcoming. Thanks Zap Zone, everyone had a great time!

Affordable and loads of fun. Had me sweating with the kids. Could be a bigger course but that would change the price. Decent inside for kids party.

We got right at 11 (Sunday) & they still werent opened so we went to Walmart & walked around for about 20 minutes & then went back. They were then opened & we were the only people there (not a problem) first game one of the vest didnt work so th hey gave us a free game. Next two games went great. Last game they activated the wrong vest so one of our players didnt even get to play. After I found her with no lights on because it wasnt activated (over half the game over) & switched it. So that was kind of a bummer she only got yo play the late 4-5 minutes of that game. I expected them to offer another free game since it was 100% their fault but that was not the case. All in all it was fun (large arena, 2 storys) but they definitely need to work on communicating to each other if someone has to switch a vest because of it not working. (Update) great customer service here. Owner has taken good care of me & I will definitely be going back

Great last summer event before my kids went back to school

Fun place for lazer tag. Reasonable priced. Don’t wear white or you will glow in the dark. They print out your stats after the game ends.

It was the best birthday party my son had.... Our host was awesome. The staff was super friendly and were accommodating. I enjoyed the his party as much as the kids. The arcade got a little pricey but it was worth it. Were sure to be back again soon.

Pretty nice place to go to. The arena is pretty nice and prices are pretty good. 10/10 Definitely would recommend

The prices are reasonable and my kids love it

Great staff there. Good to let the kids have a blast and give the parents or supervisors a break from them.

Had a party kids had loads of fun. Wife and i went in and had a blast too.friendly staff everything went great.

Great place for kids to play.

Me and our kids always have fun. We have toddlers and they let them come in worth us with no extra fee. Place is clean, staff nice. Sessions are 15 mins long.

Pretty cool place. Beer, snacks, laser tag and bounce houses.

A couple of years ago I would have rated this place better.. But new management has really caused the place to go down they used to have more staff available during the weekend and now they have 2. So when booking a party for 20 or more you are basically constantly taking your pitcher for the refills Asking them when your next game was. Not to mention they over charged me none of my party guests received the slice of pizza that was included in the package I had to purchase those myself. Im giving them 3 Stars because it is a fun place to go to for laser tag just not for parties..

It was my eldest childs birthday, the goal was for them to be truly happy... I made the right choice going to ZapZone, arcades were fun to burn some time. Laser tag, it was exciting. Especially once your suited and booted. Staff was polite, and my boy enjoyed his 10th b-day with his old man.. Fair warning dont go in white...

My sisters and cousins loved it

Great service! Thanks Alyssa for all your help! So much fun for the kids, my son enjoyed his party so much.

Not only was it fun, but it was a great workout.

I never review businesses but I had to compliment these guys on how awesome our experience was. Nothing but good things to say here. Staff bent over backwards to be sure our party was happy. Everything works the way its supposed too.

The kids had an awesome time. They were awesome with handling the birthday party making it completely stress free. Alyssa was an awesome all together. Thank you for everything.

We had a party here, the staff was so attentive, accommodating and our birthday kid felt special. The lazer tag guests that our party played with were nice and friendly. The arcade games are $1 each.

The employee and owner are all very nice. Great place to take the kids run around and have fun. Its also fairly inexpensive.

My Best Friends Have A Birthday Party Here Always!!! Love It

Kids really liked the laser tag. Pizza was good.

Great place. Had so much fun. Come check it out. Great place to have fun. Good exercise.

So much fun, a workout too!

Its I nice place for children an or birthdays

Fun place... Staff nice and helpful

Fun place to take kids. The wait may vary depending on your group and other peoples groups. That have arcade games to help you wait. The actual arena and have is fun. Just be prepared to wait.

Went to try out Zap Zone with some friends and was pleasantly surprised. The laser tag arena had multiple levels and was alot of fun. It isnt the nicest place to look at from the outside but youll have a great time inside. If they add mirrors Ill bump my rating to a 5.

Really fun, kinda pricy but its really worth it.

A fun place to bring your kids

Best birthday party 3 rounds the pizza

Always a fun place to have a party but a little unorganized here.

This place is cool so far, will update the review. Theres a mini arcade and the service comes in sessions of 1, 2, or 3. The young lady wearing the flannel behind the desk looked like she hated the world and her lack of customer service really showed it. She didnt explain how things worked at all except that I needed to head to the kiosk to enter my info. She didnt tell me when the session would start or anything else. I ended up asking someone else how things worked. They call your name when your session starts and you enter the briefing room. The briefing time at the kiosk is off, so you just listen for your name.Inside the laser tag area is awesome. It is huge and has a second floor, albeit small second floor, but a second floor. Everything is organized as well, teams based on colors, code names you assign yourself, and vests and guns assigned to your code name.Food area is ok. Prices are great, sucked because they just happened to run out of ice, but its cool. They serve alcohol too, big plus.Everyone else had great customer service other than that one girl wearing the flannel. So overall, 4 stars.

You work up a sweat but loads of fun!! For kids and adults. Will definitely go again.

This place is the greatest! The owners are very polite and accommodating. I had a wonderful experience. It is awesome.for birthday partys.

Zap Zone has reasonable prices for the amount of game time they offer. Definitely a place you want to go to with large groups or for birthdays, ect.

Fun playing, but everything feels very dirty. Wash your hands a lot. Bad service, as there is usually only one or two employees outside of the game room. Find a different Lazer tag place...

I liked it kids did too

Had a great time. They provided amazing service to me and my group of 50. Great place to go to for big events

This place is amazing! I got here often because employees are great, Its clean, they have a good snack bar and I always have a great time

The plays arent too long but arent too quick, fun. Theres an arcade, jumpers, and available food. Great for parties and just to hang out.

Outstanding Place! Great for last tag, parties, pool, and live music!

Good place for kids but they also have an arcade but no quarters to play and the change machine doesnt work!

Cool place for birthday party, awesome service and fun lazer tag. Even for adults

Cool place, fun for the kids, and fun laser tag gamed

Amazing place to bring kids its so fun. There is a wait sometimes but its not very long. And they have food. Games and all.

So.much.fun! Im cancelling my gym membership and coming here!

Great place, really fun! Great attitude from all of the employees! Very AWESOME place!

NiceCooollll it was for my birthday

They work a little slow but very fun

Great prices. The all night lock downs are the best when you bring a big group. They have a small snack bar.

Very good place for you and the kids i felt so young there

My son said his 10th Birthday was epic. Owners are very hands-on, one was our party host and she was amazing! Thanks Zaps Zone!

Too small of party areas..staff could work on friendliness

Fun for the kids, loved it

Sort of small and cramped outside but the laser arena is not bad. The guns are all functional and there is plenty of space for birthday parties. They have tvs all around for movies or sports.

I went out to zap zone on January 18 2017. I just realized they charge me twice for a session I didnt ask for. When I used my card they told me the transaction didnt go through so I swiped it another time. Just to realize that they charge me twice is upsetting.

Fun time in town with friends

Came here twice already once on a date and another time with a church youth group. Both times I had to wait a few minutes at the desk before someone comes. They apologized and said they were just helping the last group start or finish the game. Lazer tag area is two levels accessible by ramps. They have team mode, free for all and base mode which I found to be fun, also two types of power ups.(spy mode and rapid fire) The Lazer vests and gun were of good quality the same you would find at most commercial Lazer tag places.Staff was good at going over rules and getting set up quickly. The second time I was there the owner even gave us a free session!

Great fun place and birthday parties for the kids laser tag bounce houses and video games

We came here for a team game it was fun just us . Nice art in the arena.

So much fun and perfect for the little ones birthday party.

One of the best places to go play laser tag at. It was a great experience and the staff there are great.

It is fun because you get to run around shooting

Decided to go hear last minute with my niece, nephew and friendThe staff talked me into playin a round with the kids .... I had to play another afterit was a blast the kids loved it and they got some great excercise aswell as myselfDefinitely going to take the kids back here

Fun, great for the whole family. Good workout too!

Very nice employees really a fun place for the whole family

Great prices, cool friendly staff, CLEAN BATHROOMS, and we had an awesome time for my twin daughters 17th birthday party.

BEST PLACE EVER GREAT FOR KIDS ALL AGES

Program went down when we got there but we going back again and gonna have fun

Cool place..only thing is the laser suits go dead during laser tag

Very rude party hostess poor service we had to wait three full rounds before we was able to play our first which was scheduled before the first round of the three we waited for try to change up way more than what we was quoted and booked for any playing which I must say its get hot in there none was available to serve us cold drinks so I took it upon myself to accommodate all the party guest who needed cold drinks very disappointed in the behavior of the party hostess we will not be booking anymore celebration with them

Loved it been there before but i wann hvae it on my birthday. how much per person also can u order pizza in zap zone? And when do u know when the laser tag beguns and how do u sign up ur own private room and stuff?

Had fun playing there with friends
