Great place to shot off some steam.

I came here recently and I’ve never had such a bad experience at a range. I’m not sure if there is new ownership but we’ve always enjoyed going there in the past. The woman checking in customers to shoot had a terrible attitude and was seriously rude. Although it was supposed to be 3 to a lane, at one point the lane beside us had five. We purchased ammunition on the way out and it seemed to be a huge bother to the gentleman behind the counter. On a positive note, the two younger female employees were very friendly on our way out. Overall, the overcrowding on the range made me feel very unsafe and I won’t be returning.

My first time at a gun range with a few co-workers. Even though crazy nervous I was still able to find my confidence shooting a gun. The atmosphere is pretty cool and the shooting range was very spacious. It was very noisy even with headphones so you met one of use earplugs too. My friends brought their own guns and ammo. Be mindful that there is a $12 fee to go into the range even if youre not shooting. So if you are with friends and youre not shooting, stand outside in the store and watch through the window.

Great gun range alot of stock to choose from including ammo. The gun range is a little pricey but well worth it. The employees in there are very helpful and informative to all your gun needs.

Workers are always arguing with each other and even though theres like 10 employees they seem frustrated and take forever to help you. Very unprofessional and there range is small and old. They dont have a great selection of guns either and theyre very rude too. They need to change how they run business. The only reason why they are getting business is because where theyre located. Dont bother with them for you will be dissatisfied! Horrible customer service and takes like an hour to checkout.

Was once a pleased customer until today. The business adopts a 1 hour range limit when it seems necessary, totally understandable. However, what the employees at the range fail to do is notify paying customers of this time limit and instead walks into the shooting range at and hour or after and rudely notifies you that your time is up(witnessed this multiple times). Now dont get me wrong, weve had a pleasant experience with this policy once before when a nice young lady came into the shooting range and let us know we had 5 min left. What an excellent move. BUT today there was no notification and instead a different woman came in and said Hey one hour, thats it, you gotta leave. My husband and his friend were adjusting a sight and asked for more time if possible...apparently it wasnt possible. So my husband expelled the 1 remaining round in the chamber and the female said that it would be an extra $12. Okay no problem. So, my husband brings up the suggestion of notifying paying customers when they only have an hour. The response he recieved was ignorant. Instead of realizing that this constructive criticism was coming from a customer who frequents the range on a REGULAR BASIS, the employees acted as if he spat in their face. I cant help but wonder if their reaction would have been different if I a white female had suggested it instead of my black husband. We have purchased several weapons and use their range frequently. Piss poor customer service...just ignorant. We wont return or refer.

Called to ask some questions about there policies with the COVID19 situation and the guy that answer was very rude and unprofessional when answering my questions. Ive done business with them in the past and now Im not sure if I want to go back. I can understand they probably get a lot of the same questions all day but that is no reason to be rude and unprofessional with your clients.

I had a great time preparing for my firearms accuracy test here!! It was calm, all the safety guidelines were followed not by just the staff but the people in the stalls around me. I was comfortable here with nothing to distract me from my reason for coming. The staff was nice & knowledgeable! We even left our gun wipes behind & they messaged my husband to tell him so we could turn around & get them before we got to far away! Also if you in need of items for your uniform THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!! I have been from Norcoss to Macon & its the best priced!

Everyone is cool and knows me. Its always love and jokes there. Been going for yrs but upped my visits this yr. Knowledgeable, friendly, and all around great spot to go.

*THERE IS NOW A ONE HOUR TIME LIMIT*Given the current situation, I understand why. However, when I suggested to an employee that they notify customers of this, I was met with utter ignorance. This establishment gives poor costumer service, and employees have no problem verbally assaulting customers. For example, was told by an employee today that I was living in his world. Whatever that means. I have been visiting this establishment sine 2016 but have found other Ranges in the sournding area to be more customer friendly. I have see and heard others complain of the establishment, well today was my day.I experienced one of the most unprofessional encounters. Lesson learned as I will not be returning to an orgzaintoon that has no regard for its customers. Online has cheaper ammo and gear. I can wait until the other establishments are open rather than endure the ignorance from this one. Also, I am retired military. I asked about about a discount as is the norm and the female at the register demanded to see my badge..my badge?..she assumed I was trying to get a discount as a police officer. She assumed before even clarifying and just made a scene.

Rude. Rude my 1st visit, even worse this visit. All I wanted to know is if there was a wait for the range. I dont know ask the invisible person down there waited 5 minutes and still no visible person to help me.

This was my first visit to the gun range. I scheduled a class with Raphael and he did a Awesome job!! I am a 1st time gun buyer. He showed so much patience and explained things that made it easy to understand. I am looking forward to my next visit and to get more and more familiar with my new fire arm. Thank you Raphael!!

Nice place, clean. The guys are very cool down to earth. They dont rush you and there to answer any questions you might have...My new favorite place!!!

This store is very near my home. They have a pretty nice selection of guns and outdoor gear. If youre into bow-and-arrow stuff, they have a very well-stocked department for that. Some of the people who work there are friendly and helpful. A couple of the guys who work there are always grouchy and a little bit rude. I would personally rather not deal with rudeness, and so I generally go to another store - farther to drive, but really nice folks to do business with. I really do wish I enjoyed going to this store because of the convenience and great selection. If i just need some ammo or small parts I go to this store.

LOTS of interesting finds...guns, knives, tactical stuff, hunting stuff, indoor gun and archery ranges...need I say more? REALLY enjoyed walking around inside but wasnt able to try out the shooting ranges yet

My experiences with this business have been by far the best of many. I have not experienced the level of expertise, knowledge, CUSTOMER SERVICE, and just plain great attitude ANYWHERE in the area and beyond. The staff here are top notch not only great at their job but willing to go above and beyond for customer service. A nice gun range and a vast selection of merchandise, they even made my wife feel comfortable on her first trip to the range. A+ service from everyone especially Carl and Alex. You guys went the extra mile to help me with my purchase today!! Thanks!!

Selection is decent. Knowledgeable about their product which can lead to smart remarks if beginner or asking mundane questions. The range is fairly dark but your allowed to basically shoot anything. Awesome for the price. If its not busy in the range theyll let you shoot till your out of ammo

My wife and I have been been here more than a couple of time and it has always been a great experience.

I dont know if I would bring my kids but the staff was great they showed a lefty just how its done. Very positive experience. Will go back again. The price for fun and what ever else you need is also reasonable.

I HAVE BEEN TO THIS GUN RANGE SEVERAL TIMES TO TRY AND GIVE THEM A CHANCE BUT THIS RANGE IS HORRIBLE. IF YOUR BLACK DO NOT GO TO THIS RANGE. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE AFTERNOON OVER PRICED AMMO. THE YOUNG WHITE BOY NEEDS TO BE FIRED. HAD NO RIGHT TOUCHING MY WEAPON AFTER I DISASSEMBLED IT. Range is small. Shells always on the floor. Dark. If they are busy AND YOU ARE BLACK THEY WILL RUSH YOU OR GIVE YOU A TIME LIMIT. Purchased 200 .223 rounds and was only shooting for 45 min before the young white boy comes in and says it’s time to wrap it up. I’ll never shoot here again and if you are any other race besides WHITE you will not feel welcomed or treated equally. This place needs to be shut down and the staff needs a lesson about professionalism. Very disappointed.

Very welcoming and exactly what you would expect a small range to be. Its well lit 25 yards with seven lanes including one lane setup to be a zeroing bench. Lots of random things in the store and a small selection of new and used firearms.

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!Went to a gun range before with my boyfriend, but that was disastrous. I shot twice, cried and then left lol. But my guy really likes going to the range. So I decided to try it again on my own. I found this place on Google. It had great reviews, so I decided to go. I explained to one of the workers my previous disastrous experience. They were so kind and helpful. They explained to me everything I needed to know, and offered ways to make it less scary. I felt like they really cared, and very knowledgeable. I love a place with great customer service. I would recommend this place to anyone who truly wants to learn. I will be returning again.

In response to Tyrone Gay (BELOW) and in GREAT DEFENSE of 42 North Gunrange management.... I have been attending 42 North Gunrange with my husband (Ask ANYBODY in the range about PILGRIM) in the for several years and spent over $70,000 in this store. All of the employees are a mixture of various ethic backgrounds between the Stockbridge and Forest Park locations. I am black and of Jamaican descent, I have to disagree with the negative comment listed below. This is slander and I am sorry that Tyrones experience wasnt too welcoming but the store can get very busy and there are several hundreds and thousands of rounds shot in this indoor range in reference to the housekeeping. I can vouch that the bathroom is always clean as well.For safety reasons of the public and the staff.... The range section has to be completely shut down and emptied out in order for someone to clean up the shells in the range which means there will be lines of people waiting. They do have long handled tools in the range where the customers can push the shells away from their personal standing space. It is also very easy to ask someone at the counter to please clean the area and they would be happy to assist once they become available. Regarding the pricing, Please stay in touch with their Facebook and Instagram pages so that you can take advantage of the various holiday sales they offer, All of the items have specific times where prices are more affordable for every budget.As far as someone asking you to leave the range, I am sure its not because of your skin color that you were asking to leave. If the store closes at 7pm and a customer is still shooting rounds at 6:42.... You are stopping them from paying attention to a potential robbery, from putting the firearms away, counting the drawer and shutting the store down. Just like anybody in the world, when its time to shut the place down and clock out..... its time to go! Please visit the store early in morning or midday and you will have a very clean space to shoot and plenty of hours before quitting time to enjoy the range and brush up on your grouping.Please speak to a manager with any complaints questions or concerns (7 days a week) so that someone can make your experience more worth the visit. 42 North values the business of ALL people and would love for you to return and speak to management, Mr. Russell Smith about making this right. This company isnt racist by any means and doesnt have a problem with reviewing their mandatory company policies, procedures and standards of professionalism with the staff during our weekly meeting. Give them a chance to make it right before you make a complaint online. Please and Thank you.

The sales personnel are extremely knowledge and personable. They allow you to test several floor model bows in their indoor archery range. They dont apply pressure for the sake of the sale. In my case, Im a deliberate buyer and I appreciated this sales approach!

Absolutely great service all around. Staff was extremely helpful in getting me new attachments for my bow. They have an excellent selection of hunting gear and equipment. Wish they had a store closer to me but I have no problem driving the distance for a nice helpful staff.

Hands down amazing place! Great guys! Great selection! Lots of ranges. Lots to choose from. Well worth your time and money. Prices are great as well. Lots better than ranges up in Atlanta thats for sure!

Great range and good prices. Since they have pistols and large caliber rifles in the same range, I wouldnt suggest bringing a first time shooter there. They might get jumpy with a 50 Cal in the next lane over.

I love this range I brought my dessert eagle .50 from them they helped me and was able to answer every question the rang is very very clean and well taken care of i had a problem with one of my other weapons and they even checked it for me with no problem I try to make a stop at this range every weekend
