Had a terrific time!! So much fun and I love that you do not need to be an artist to create some cool glass art! Pat is AMAZING and makes it easy for all learners!! I love all of the classes, especially the jewelry and fused glass lantern.
I love Alchemy Arts Studio. Pat is amazing! I have learned so much from her. I have taken a few glass and jewelry classes. I always have fun and make amazing things for myself and gifts. The glass lantern is one of my favorite glass pieces and everyone I know loves it when they see it. Ill have to make more!
We had 10 people come to Alchemy to do fused glass projects as part of a bachelorette party weekend. Pat did a great job of explaining how everything works and helped us along the way. We all chose different projects and had fun creating together! It was a memorable experience and the best part is we have something to remember this weekend by! Highly recommend it!
We were looking for a fun date night Alchemy Arts Studio exceeded our expectations. Pat and Phil are fun and are great teachers. We enjoyed the group and we all supported each other in the creative adventure. My husband and I are already planning our next projects!!
This experience was wonderful and I would highly recommend a class to anyone looking for something unique and fun to do.
Great experience! Fun and relaxing way to be creative! Pat is wonderful and passionate!!!
What a fun afternoon. Pat is very helpful and the variety of possibilities is endless!
I had a WONDERFUL time at Alchemy Arts Studio with the Starter Class. Ive never worked with glass before and was looking for something new and artistic to explore. I have a disability and need a rather forgiving art-form and peaceful, easy environment. Alchemy Arts is above and beyond, not just for me but Id say just about anyone. Tea or coffee, a great blend of smooth tempo music in the background, and friendly company classmates made this just the experience Ive hoped for and needed to reconnect to a peaceful place and artful-expression.Pat provided an introduction to the basic science of how glass works and comes together with our projects and some advanced techniques and a view of the kiln where our projects would eventually land. The studio is full of designs from suncatchers and jewelry to vases and bowls as well as supplies for glass artists. During the glass a couple people from other classes came in excited to pick-up their pieces fresh from the kiln, and it was interesting to see other projects from Pats other classes. I knew barely half-way into the class that Id be thrilled to attend another, and bring my friends and my mom and some family coming into town.In addition, being in a wheelchair the studio was completely accessible and Pat was access-knowledgeable, aware, welcoming, and friendly. She was there to assist me in all ways I needed, including helping with tools and creative adaptability. I cant thank her enough for making her studio, teaching, and fun flair so inclusively fun.Huge thanks!
I came to the Alchemy Arts Studio for a work get together. Pat was so friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating to our group. We all did different projects and we had a blast. I would highly recommend doing a project at the Alchemy Arts Studio.
Phil and Pat were AMAZING! We had such a great time, the class flew by because so much fun was had. If youre looking for something different to do for date night in the Stillwater area, check this place out!
What a fun Christmas present from my husband! The studio is so nice & we special treat with Pats husband dressed to the nines in a tux conducting the team games. My husband & I had never done fused glass before, but Pat made the experience a fun one with plenty of materials & encouragement. We are thrilled with out projects!
What a great time! My sister and I attended the Fused Glass Tile class for something fun and new to try on a weeknight. Pat was awesome. The class started with an overview of glass fusion, all the different things you can make using glass fusion, and general directions on how to create our tiles. After that, Pat let our imagination take the drivers seat, but was always available for questions and suggestions. Ill definitely be back to try one of her other classes!
Pat did a great job of explaining fused glass and how to use all of the tools. I am not an artsy person at all but she was wonderful in helping me create my project. I definitely want to go back and create another masterpiece, this time with more layers of glass now that I know what Im doing. It was a very fun evening with friends learning something new and I would highly recommend Alchemy Arts Studio!
We hosted a Client Event with Pat and Phil at Alchemy Arts Studio and had a Wonderful evening. They made sure everyone had an enjoyable evening and kept us laughing throughout the night. They were also great to work with and made every accommodation they could to make the night memorable. Thanks for an amazing night!
One of the best parts I enjoyed about this class is learning the process that happens in the background, once we design a fused piece. I liked knowing what happens to the glass once its fused and seeing the kiln and learning about how it works and about the chemistry of the glass.Great class; Pat is an excellent instructor and the shop carries many items that can be added to our fused glass works to make our design even more fun. Thanks!
I absolutely love this place and all the projects you can create. I can’t wait to keep learning and creating each month!
I thoroughly enjoyed both classes Ive taken at Alchemy Arts Studio. The first, with a large group, was entertaining, included a great overview of the fused glass process and was great hands-on fun. The second, with a smaller group working on an entirely different type of project, was also a wonderful experience and I learned a lot. Pat is so down-to-earth and knowledgeable. And Phil was a great MC for our large event.
Five of us went to Alchemy Arts Studio last night for their Starter Tile class - what fun! Pat is an excellent teacher, and funny too! We had a great time and we are anxious to pick up our finished pieces. Highly recommend their classes - they have everything you can think of in glass!
Alchemy Arts Studio is a great place to learn a unique art. The studio has easy access and is a comfortable and bright studio. Everyone gets their own tools and plenty of space to create. Pat explains the art and science of fused glass and you create your own vision or there are plenty of examples to help inspire.

We had a fairly large group of friends attend one of Pats classes. It was so much fun - she is a great teacher and her husband is a great entertainer. The time flew by.
My daughter and I were in Stillwater for a mother/daughter weekend and enjoyed a wonderful class at Alchemy Arts. We had never done any glass work before, but Pat made it simple. It was educational, fun, creative and memorable! Thanks Alchemy Arts!
The fun energy being coupled with glass history and knowledge made a great evening. I heard about the funky Friday and super Saturday and you can bet I will bring my friends there.
I came here for a work event to creat glass art we could take home with us. We had a great time! Our instructor took us through a lesson on how the sun catchers are created from start to finish. She showed us examples we could use for inspiration, but encouraged us that we could just be creative to create our own sun catchers. It really was easy to learn and not a problem that none of us had cut glass before. The whole process took about 2 hours and we all ended up with really unique momentos. She mentioned they offer classes for beginners and higher level at the shop. It would be great to go with a friend, a group, or for parties.
Fun, relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Another way to exercise creativity!
This past weekend we celebrated two friends turning 50. We began our celebration at Alchemy Arts Studio in Stillwater. Pat and Phil did a tremendous job! They put forth so much effort and created a festive atmosphere - we could not have asked for more. The class was interesting. We actually LEARNED about the different processes and how different glassware is created. She made sure we had the proper instruction to enable us to be creative and safe as we made our glass projects. We all will definitely go back again!Kris Goracke
