A wonderful place that really cares about your specific goal in creativity. I, personally, do pencil and they clear glaze everything for me. I dont even have to stay in the shop. I pick up the item and then drop it back off when its ready!Definitely recommend.

My husband and I walked in to KCAP on our mini-honeymoon in Stillwater. Kari and her assistant were so fun to chat with and so helpful in showing us different glazing methods for our pottery! We had a wonderful afternoon! They had a wide variety of ceramic options to choose from, from statuettes to dishes, to holiday decor, and their glazes are food safe! We each glazed a few pieces, and after theyre fired, Kari will ship them to our home since we dont live locally! Prices are tied to the ceramic piece you are glazing, and the price is reasonable as it also includes access to their glazes, tools, and firing the piece. All in all a fun and creative afternoon, and memorable souviners from our honeymoon to use in our new place!

We choose to sit outside which was absolutely wonderful, they lady who worked there was very friendly and helpful!

I appreciate the fact that I can choose any picture I want to paint and the staff is amazing and will help with questions and even offer suggestions.

I love this adorable shop. I decided to take my niece here. It was both our first time at this location. I loved that they had a variety of options. My niece decided on do a canvas painting and I a choose ceramic plate. Im always do slow and I wasnt able to finish my plate. No problem! They made a note on my account and i cant go back anytime to finish for no additional charge. Whew... that was a relief. Now all the women in my family and or friends want to go there for our ladies night!!! We also had great customer service. The gal working was very sweet and attentive to our needs!! I would most definitely recommend them.

We love it here, because they have great pottery options to paint for kids and adults. The staff are super friendly and can give you recommendations if you want them, (shout out to Hannah!) They are super compared to similar concept stores because there isnt a painting fee its all wrapped in to the price you see

Very helpful and friendly staff. I really appreciate the fact that you can choose either a canvas OR a pottery piece and not everyone is stuck with the exact same thing! Nice, wide, open space to paint with a ton of options. If youre on the fence about this place, dont be! We had a small bachelorette party last Saturday there and it was great! I would go back again for sure.

Kari is awesome! I made two pieces while there for my sister in laws bachelorette party, a cute little mushroom and an adorable hedgehog bank for my coming soon baby to be born in Dec. I was totally crushed when my other sister in law who lives closer went to pick up the items and she told me the mushroom had fallen out of the tissue paper and broken. She also told me Kari had graciously told her that they would try to glue it back together and that I could come in and make a new one free of charge. Unfortunately I live too far away to drive over to do that so I asked if she could ship it instead and she said yes! Im so excited to get my little mushroom in the mail so my babys woodland themed room can have just a little extra special touch! Thank you so much for being awesome Kari!

Ive been to several different similar pottery places and this is by far the best one! From atmosphere to paint quality choices, I was thoroughly impressed.

The staff was awesome. Helped me every step of the way. This isnt the finished product. It still needs to go through the kiln yet.

My dad and I took two of my little brothers here- one of them 2 yrs, and the other 6 yrs old. The staff were so excellent with us. It obviously was an experience that required patience and keen attention (the 2 yr old got a bit excited with paint and water) The staff offered nothinf but patience and enthusiasm. We will be back to make more memories and paintings.

My family and I visited this studio after an event in Stillwater in which we honored our daughters who were born still. As participants of that event we received 50% off here. What a wonderfully generous gift for grieving families. Our living children thoroughly enjoyed the experience as did extended members of our family. The staff were all helpful and patient with our young children.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, when I was there a family had a toddler who started crying a few times; Kari herself had toys on deck to placate the child! I was asked how things were going a few times. Its like a restaurant where you serve yourself a painting. An employee taught me a new painting technique for making dots. Awesome place.

Brought my niece in on the Friday morning before Easter! We had an incredible time!!! We were instantly greeted upon arrival, given a tour, had the process thoroughly explained, and then we dug in. We sat in the front window seat -- so amazing -- and spent about an hour painting our pieces, giggling, and truly enjoying ourselves. The staff checked in to see if we had any questions, shared some light conversation, and made us feel completely at home. A definite must to add to our future TO DO list when my niece visits again. WE LOVED IT!

Karis studio is absolutely adorable. Every employee is super nice and super helpful, but not over bearing. My 7 year old daughter had the best time, and keeps asking to go back! The location is perfect too, its near Leos Malt Shop, so a little painting and ice cream makes for the perfect night!

Great place for a birthday party! We had a birthday party for our 6 year old and it was fantastic! Karis staff provided everything, ceramics, paint, private room, and a guide who helped us for the entire hour and a half. It was a hit with both the boys and the girls at the party. The kids got to pick out their own pottery (good size pieces - owls, mugs, spiders, kitties) then our helper explained how to paint and helped everyone out. When they were finished, we ate cupcakes that we brought in (store made) and opened presents. It was the easiest birthday party Ive hosted for one of my kids and it was super gratifying as all the kids got to do art and had a unique piece of pottery to show for it! It was also less expensive than I thought it might be considering we had a full time helper and 10 pieces of pottery plus a special birthday plate as a present!! I highly recommend Karis for birthday parties.

People are very helpful. First time I have been there. They explained what I needed to do and then they kept coming around and wanted to know if I had questions. Great place to do a family event young or old. Enjoyed it very much!

We have been here quite a few times to do the paint your own pottery. It is so fun. They have so many pottery options. Tons of paint colors to choose from. The ladies are always there to help you too if you need it.

Had my daughters 5th birthday in the party room and everyone loved it! Kari was wonderful, the building is beautiful, and the staff was very helpful and polite. Fun for all ages, I could not have asked for a better experience.

Me and my fiancée showed up at 5:15 and they were closing at 6. We started a project and the lady allowed us to stay until 6:30 just so we could finish our project :). Great place to take someone out on a date. Highly recommend!
