They have long trails. Very good place to get a peace of mind. You will see other people walking and stuff. But there are some more quite areas back in the woods. Also really cool spots like the broken down machines with some graffiti and an under the express way bridge with graffiti.Literally everyone I know has been here.Fun place for kids to be in nature and play.Cool for stoners too lol

I used to go to this park in the 70s when I was a kid. Went back for the first time today in over 40 years. Still a great place. Lots of people of all ages walking around, picnic tables, biking/walking trails, bridges over the Clinton River, nice tall beautiful old trees. Bathroom facilities too. The shady trees really make it cooler because it was 90 degrees outside. Very nice setting.

Dodge Park is a hidden gem in the middle of Sterling Heights. It follows the Clinton River and has miles of walking and biking trails. In the spring the wild flowers are beautiful and in the fall the colors are amazing. A childrens carnival-type play area has been added in recent years.

Great park to get outside and enjoy nature. You can even spot deer in the park, they’re not afraid of people. You’ll also spot kayakers and folks canoeing, along with walkers, runners, bicycling, rollerblading, fishing and swimming. The city keeps it clean and well maintained. The trails link different parks with play equipment together.

What you see road and/or parking lot does not represent the entire park. Theres also various trails leading both through the wooded areas and along the river. Depending on the trail you choose the walk can be anywhere from a short stroll to several miles.

My 3yr old son and 4yr old nephew had a blast playing here and we had a Picnic at the tables and they loved walking around in the woods (thats what the boys called the path through the trees). Bathroom building wasnt open and no running water for drinking fountain but it is early in the season. We have water bottles we bring everywhere for our boys and there was an out-house that was clean and not smelly.

This is great park for relaxing, walking, jogging, running, biking, and skateboarding. You can also go fishing, canoeing and go on nature trails. There are parks in this area where you can play basketball or volleyball or simply let the kids slide down the slides or play on the swings. Ideal place for a picnic.

Dodge Park has become a great place full of many things to do. Thanks to recent additions, this park has gone from bummy to super good. The public services are top notch, having many events take place. Now, with the construction of a rec center, Dodge Park will be complete for the winter and summer, having many activities to do at each. This is a must visit if youre ever in Sterling Heights.

Staff is great. Nice that rink has a roof, in case of rain, skating is still possible. The fire pits are nice, though you have to take your skates off to go over there. What would make this place even better is if they built an addition with a room you could go into to warm up without taking your skates off.

Love this park for long walks. You can jog here, cycle, walk or roller skate. Also great place to walk your dog. It also offers numerous facilities like splash pad, picnic and grill areas, playground etc. You can find all the information on their website. The only disadvantage is the mosquitos. Some days its so horrible that no mosquito repellent will save you. But thats only if you decide to cross the bridge and walk further, at the front area its not bad.
