Bosque River Trail

Its a great place to walk. It is safe and user friendly. It is well maintained by city folks and the city provides on-site security most every day. Everyone should come walk. It makes for a pleasant experience and above all contributes to good health!!! Its another great facility provided by Erath County and the City of Stephenville that cost absolutely nothing to use. This is my 6th month of walking on Bosque River Trail. Thanks to the city and county and to the volunteers that thk care of the natural native plant site.

This is one of my absolute favorite places in Stephenville. The trail is well maintained and a beautiful place to enjoy the fresh air! I love the new extension. A full “loop”, is about 5.5 miles (around the city park + both ways on the trail).

First time on the river trail and it was wonderful!!!! Super clean and it felt very safe!! As always I would recommend to always go with a buddy but thats for anywhere!! The maps at each point were very helpful. Its also dog friendly! Definitely will be going back. I would recommend that you have a little first aid kit just in case of a sting or something like that!!

Would be a nice place if there was some kind of rules for how children should act. No respect!

Best time to go for a long walk, Anytime! If your going on the BRT! Listen to the birds blend in with the meandering water flow of the Bosque River in the morning, and the masterful Whoot of the Owls as the sun sets at dusk. Go late and walk under the lights, really nice.

Always enjoy walking and spending time on the trail. Friendly people. Nice photo opps and great place to visit.

Great safe place

Well maintained, beautiful scenery while you walk or jog. Trail is concrete and wide enough for 4-5 people to walk side by side~
