Very straight easy flat walk, but nothing really to see. Fine for biking or walking the dog.
My husband and I just moved here from Boston and Providence and bought a home in Statesboro! We adore it!We live close to the Greenway, and its truly wonderful to be able to walk and run it. Taking the doggos, everything is so nice about this.We have been so happy with this area, we couldnt imagine it being any better than it already is!
Lovely place to visit. We visited for our daily 3 mile walk. It was very clean and well kept.
Its a beautiful place to go walking. The dogs love it too!
Its a 3 mile 1 way, nice trail for all ages. Walking and running
This is a very nice walking, running or biking trail that is a level and clean place to walk. It appears to be a safe area as there are always other people around. Dogs are welcome.
A wonderful place for a walk
Pretty cool place to walk or ride your bike. Theres minimal interaction with main traffic making it safer for activities like jogging and its got a decent length for a good workout.I really wish there were more of these around Statesboro.
The trail runs beside fields, for the most part, but there are some slightly wooded areas. It currently spans from Gentilly Road to the roundabout, near 5 points. There are public restrooms at each end, and they plan to expand it further, in the future.
Awesome place to run, bike, jog, or walk. However, they ruined a good bit of it by putting in a subdivision. They also need more water fountains and benches to rest. Since dogs are allowed it would be nice if there were water fountains for them, as well. But overall a lovely place to take in a bit of nature in the heart of the city.
Very nice place to run and workout. Brought my dog and he loved it. Very friendly people
Visiting family and needed a place for my son and I to run. Nice greenway trail. Marked very well along trail. Could use some benches, water fountain, and emergency call box along the route. Overall we enjoyed it.
Beautiful path. Deer, foxes, squirrels and more. Great for walking, running or biking.
Fairly nice paved urban trail passing by several neighborhoods very close to Georgia Southern University
The path is great. I always run into wildlife and people alike. The dog owners keep it clean along with the staff.
This is a rail-to-trail project. Rate it easy. Asphalt paved in excellent condition. Trail runs through wooded swamp, behind commercial developments, between farm fields and near residences. Suitable for walking, running and biking.
One of the best places to go if you want to go on a MILES long walk!!!! Great thing about this greenway is that ITS CONNECTED TO STATESBORO CROSSING!!!!! Go here if you want to go for a walk THEN go shop!
Excellent place to walk, run or to ride your bike
Best place to go for a walk in the Boro
Great walking trail
Great place to go for a walk or run. pavement is in great condition. straight and long
SHOULD HAVE MORE BENCHES AND WATER FOUNTAINS FOR WALKERS, BEAUTIFUL TRAIL
Love this place. So relaxing
Biked/walked this trail alone in December. It was fantastic. I really recommend biking this alone. Make sure you do it early enough so you have daylight through the whole thing since the trail has no lights when things get dark. This trail is a hidden gem in statesboro.
Flat and fast, this paved trail is great for everyone! From children riding their first tricycles to competitive runners, this multi-purpose trail is the only one of its kind in the area. Its about 2.75miles one way for 5.5miles round trip. TIP: Park at Gentilly trailhead and follow the markers if you dont carry GPS.
Wide trail with enough space for walkers and riders to share. It is not a lighted trail so I wouldnt recommend going at night.
Great walk.
Love love love this trail! Simple but beautiful at the same time! It’s a must see!
Nice place for a quite walk
Love the atmosphere. I love this walk, not especially during the summer, but still love the nature walk.
The nicest, most beautiful walk in Statesboro!
Great place to walk, run, or biking.
Clean public restroom at each end of the trail. Great place for an out and back run up to 5 miles (total).
Love this walking trail. We go atleast once a week when the weather allows. Good for training for 5ks or just a casual stroll. Half is very well shaded. Sometimes people leave dog doo behind but its becomi ng less and less of a problem. Great place to watch nature: turtles, frogs, snakes, owls and even fish and sometimes falcon or deer can be seen. Not likely to see a snake while walking during the day, but definitely be careful at night.
Nice for run sundays morning
Great running trail
Dont remember this place....
Clean, quiet, good people
Great greenway
