This is a beautiful little park with amazing history. This is the sight of the most Westward battle of the American Revolutionary War. A Native American village, Pickuwe, was nearby and the battle was called the Battle of Piqua. After the battle, the natives left and moved northwest and settled the area now called Piqua. There is a small lake here as well and some decent fishing. Just fish deep.
This place was truly great. I was impressed considering its a county park. Lots of trails, historical monuments, an Native American replica village, a replica American fort, and a beautiful, small lake. We had a nice picnic, took a hike, and explored history. There was something for everyone in the family.
Such a beautiful park to spend a few hours at. Ample things to do for the entire family. We enjoyed the Woodland Indian Village, exploring the different type of buildings that were found in an Indian village. Not only did we enjoy the village, but the trails as well. Trails were easily marked and were suitable for all ages. We enjoyed the trail that to took us to the waterfall just above Hosterman Lake.Didn’t get a chance to play on the nature playground that was closed due to the outbreak but we could see it from a distance. Looked like it would be a lot of fun to try.Highly recommend this place if you enjoy the outdoors for hiking and picnicking. Or looking to learn how local Indians lived and took care of the land. Want to return when the nearby interpretive center and historical house are opened (closed due to COVID)
Adorable place to explore. Nice spot for fishing even if handicapped access is needed.
The halloween drive thru was new and interesting. It looks like it will be the new way of halloween excitement if covid still exist next year. Plus it can be an easy way to group car loads instead of each individual person. I see it improving and extending out longer than a couple day. Nicely done.
Very nice park with lots of short to medium trails in a variety of terrain, from fields to woods, flat to hills, streams and lakes. Add the incredible history of the park—birthplace of Tecumseh and site of one of the most important battles between native Americans and American forces— and you’ve got a great place to spend a few hours. Or a day. And don’t forget to check out the reconstructions of frontier and Shawnee structures!
This is my favorite place locally to go on a small hike. It is filled with history and scenery.
This is a well maintained park. It is known for its Labor Day weekend Fair at New Boston event and there is an entrance fee for the Fair. I visited to see the lake and to hike which was free. It also has a museum which I did not see, but I think there is a charge for that and it is open limited hours.
We did our family pictures here! Such a beautiful area
Hidden gem! Lots of trials and a alot of nice attractions.
Super nice location to go to, lovely nature and lots of poke stops!
Beautiful hiking, places for picnic, fun park for kids and a nice place to stop and play in the water on one of the hikes
I have been coming here since I was a young child and it still has a special place and memories I hold dear close to my heart. If you like hiking, nature and history youll enjoy coming here.
Great place to go on a short hike easy hike. Good sized lake for fishing as well.
They will give u a ticket if u play pokemon and drive in the park and there is no side walks cars dont do the speed limit at all or the ranger will stop u and say u are taking pictures and accuse u of been weird when all u are doing is playing a game with your kids watch out its a ticket trap for pokemon players
Great place nice hiking trails
Fun quiet place to fish, walk or horseback
I remember when the pond was cared for on a regular basis. Sitting out here now, Ive never seen the bank so overgrown and the area by the dam overrun with moss. This used to be such a clean place to fish.
Beautiful park, but grass isnt cut where it needs to be.
This park is lovely theres a Lake where you can do catch and release fishing a stream you can Wade in and a little village of different types of native American dwellings. At the Bottom lot is a lovely play area made from a fallen sycamore tree.
Ots absolutely beautiful and the park rangers are hands down amazing people!!!

Amazing place to hike!
Plenty to do. Trails, kayaking, buildings and a museum. Whats not to love?
George Rogers Clark Park is a wonderful place to go hiking, fishing, walking, and they have other events that are held different times of the year. Love, love, love this place.
Beautiful park well kept and well patrolled very safe place
This place makes history come alive and is beautiful. It also helps The Frontiersmen, by Alan Eckert come alive too. Worth the visit!
Too much moss and kept getting snag every cast.
Great Fun With The Real Life Experience!!
Great trails and good fishing
I love the rich history surrounding the park. The hiking trails are some of the best in our area
Beautiful area. Great for family day enjoying the outdoors.
Awesome place to have fun and enjoy
Nice park for walking trails and going fishing.
Awesome place to bring the family
I often take myself and my dogs for a walk at Park.It is relaxing and stress free. I enjoy the hiking trails and at times think of the history associated with the park. There is a replica of a native American village, that gives a small snapshot of what life was like at that time. It is nice to contemplate but I am not ready to forsake central heat and air yet. Life was so much more difficult, but maybe better. Who knows, but it did not work out well for the Indians.
Visited the Indian village display. Very interesting
It was great to visit the place, but I forgot it costs to go into the place... It is about $10 for adults and what saw from their sign for kids it was $3 ... The next time I will remember to bring some cash ...
Great park, lots of history, lot bigger than I thought.
Wonderful atmosphere as well as educational. Great place to fish, hike or just hang out. Alone, with friends or with kids. A great little place all the way around !!
It was so funIt was nice and beautiful
Would have been much better if was handicap friendly was hard for anyone on scooter wheel chairs walkers there wasnt anyone to offer assistance.
Amazing!! We attended a PowWow yesterday and had a wonderful and memorable time. Cant wait to go to the next one.
Nice, quiet place, lots of trails and a pretty nice pond for fishing and kayaking
The park is well kept. The Campbell shelter was tiny. It would work for a small family picnic with one row of tables. Two rows meant you had to bend over and duck to be able to manuver to use the outside seats of the tables. Very uncomfortable.
Beautiful area rich in history.
Good trails and plenty of parking.
Went here for the fare at New Boston. What a fabulious experience for our first time. We didnt have time to fully explore so we will definitely be returning.
Awesome park! The Fair at New Boston is a treasure!
Great trails!
Reenactment of early American way of life. Shopping, food, and some fun. Some places even sell outfits for you to join the fun, if you can afford it. Usually at least one battle reenactment each day, and the players try to vary the content from year to year.
Great place,hallowed ground
I go there for Pokemon hunting and have a great time. They also have this great playground that is a small hobbits village. That have shelter houses and a pond. All in all a great place to spend a day.
This park is very large. Lots of walking trails, picnic areas and shelters for family gatherings. There is a large lake that is good for fishing.
Very peaceful fishing spot no license required
A very nice park with a lot of history to it. We usually go to play Pokemon Go because the is an area where you are within range of 3 pokestops. Playing games aside, its a nice place to go to for a quiet picnic or to learn more about the history of the Clark County area.
This is the oddest waterfall Ive ever seen, but it sure is cool.
Nice park. Went for New Boston fest. Grounds a bit rough for handicapped folks.
So beautiful and secure. For all family picnics
Visited for the annual Fair at New Boston event. A nice afternoon.
Went to the Annual Faire at New Boston. We really enjoy going.Everything is juried and authentic, from clothes the reenactors wear, the crafts, music and food served. Its about the1770s-1780s.Always a fun time to go back in history.
Wonderful place to walk and hike, even when muddy. The lake is a good spot to fish and kayak.
It was very pretty with the trees changing colors
Nice place to get outside and do something
Fun fishing and grilling out
This place is amazing! There is so much more to the park than I knew. There is a huge back section that I had never been to in my 35 years here that was great! I love the dedication that the employees have put into their work in this fine park. I will be back many times to come!
Had a good family reunion here, clean bathrooms and large shelter house
Wonderful picnic pavilion absolute to reserve. Had a great party there for my teenager.
Great place to take the family and spend some time outdoors. They have little sites setup I look like Indian villages kids love it
Visiting made Ohio History come alive and see what people saw at that time.
The village huts and the Hobbit Hole plus play ground the kids Loved!! Rained yesterday but was fairly dry enough to get out of the house for a bit!!
Fantastic place to go. There are tons of trails a catch and release bass lake. They even have a museum you can tour. This was my first time here I will definitely be back for the rest of my life. There is also a lot of natural wildlife here to.
Nice Gem. Great Staff passionate about their education-sharing mission!
Nice fair. It is very Informative. Recommend splurging for the mugs. The refills are only $1 for the life of the cup. Prepare for the hot weather though. A lot of walking on unstable ground. Not good for people who may have stability issues.
Great place for family adventures.
Was there for the Paw Paw Indian PowWow... What a beautiful park!!!!
Always s good time at the Fair at New Boston
