Took my 6-yr old son to try out the soccer class for 6-7 yr old intermediate players. Although my son had never played soccer before, the beginner classes are only available for kids up to 5-yrs old. The coach, Nate, was extremely nice and did a great job working with the kids! This is a great class if the child has already been exposed to the fundamentals of the sport and has practiced working with the ball. All of the kids out there played well and knew the drills. My son really enjoyed the first 10 min or more of running and kicking the ball around and playing with the others. He flashed us the double thumbs up sign to let us know he liked it! That changed once the various practice exercises started. He tried, but it was hard for him to participate and keep up not knowing what to do. Inevitably, he flashed us the one thumbs up, one thumbs down sign - it was good, now its not. I wish there was a class here to fit his skill set as it seems like a great place.

Coach Katie is so amazing. Handling 3-4 year olds is a gift and she is so awesome and patient. I love how she treats my little girl and all of the kids. Even when the kids are not listening. She stays so cool, calm, and collective. Love her

Its a bummer that this is the only local option for playing indoor soccer. Entering a team is not cheap - $400+ per team - and, yet, the facility is not well-cared for. Ive played with water leaking through the roof, onto the field and in the team boxes. The goal boxes & nets need repair. They also put leagues together with 12 year olds playing against 14 year olds. Its not developmentally appropriate nor is it fun for either team. The ethical thing would be to tell whatever age group is in the minority that they dont have enough teams for a league in that age rather than throwing them all together. A few of the refs seem to really not care about the play or the sportsmanship and let things get out of hand, particularly in the adult leagues. Id go elsewhere if I had another option.

Fun to watch my friends play soccer and i keep going to suppoert them. The staff is very nice and they are all good natured. Family friendly and simple food at a good price. Medium-Large tap list.Bar is super smokey from the deep fryer, you will smell like french fries after.Beware if you have asthma.I worry about the oil plastinating if it has reached smoke point to make the air blue.

I hadnt been before, but it was a cool little area to have a couple of drinks and watch some amateur sports. I didnt make the plans for the game or anything, but its a cool place to hang out weather you care about the sporting or not. They have a great drink selection too. I would have had no problem finding variety.

Kick City is a great place for little kids birthday parties. Their prices include plenty of time on the field (both free play and games run by one of their coaches) and a reserved party room in the back where you can feed everyone cake and whatnot after they run off all their energy.(Well, most of their energy, anyway.)

Its a pretty cool place. Good viewing area (with beer) if your just watching a game. Im new to indoor so one hidden cost was indoor cleats, you cannot just wear regular field cleats (and no one wears the court shoes there, so might as well invest if you dont have a good pair of indoor cleats). Otherwise its aight, no ones been rude in my experience...really just a place to meet up and play your weekly game.

We signed our daughter up for a free trial of the Hoppers class (for 3-4 year olds) which turned out to be rather disappointing. The coaches seemed very inexperienced and more than half of the class time was spent sitting (after 40 minutes only about 10 was spent playing/running then they took them for a water break). The other half of the field though had another class running and they seemed active almost the entire time. This place may be better suited for older children/adults. They do offer a free trial class which is nice however the price isnt a good value for little kids, youd be better off playing soccer at home.

Attended a birthday party there. There were some strange rules about not eating party food in the common area, but then if you purchased their food it was okay to eat it anywhere. Additionally, the games in the soccer area seemed dangerous for 1st graders - one involved kicking soccer balls and trying to hit kids as they ran from one end of the field to another.

I love this place. It had been years since I last played soccer. I got the call from my bro to come play for his team. Accidentally got the time b wrong and showed up an hour early. Usually waiting an hour for a game would be boring, but I found a nice bar that I could sit down in and watch the current soccer match live thru the windows of the bar. Its almost set up like a hockey rink. You dont have to play soccer to enjoy the bar. With 15 plus rotating craft beers on tap and many tv playing all sorts of sports. Its a great hangout on any occasion of night.

I have to say I do enjoy this place a lot. But what makes this a 2 star is the simple fact that the refs have that one team they will always pick as a favorite. I was usually quiet and just played the game. But when someone would start yelling at me, the refs would tell me to calm down when I would just listen to these people blow up.You basically have to watch your back around some players because the refs signature words usually seem to be play on when someone is rammed in the back, into a wall. But when their favorite team flops, they have to stop everything just for them. No matter what league your in, Rec or intermediate (never played advanced).Early 2016, I had my ankle kicked into the corner of a goal post by someone who kept coming after me in the game. It forced me to stop playing and has really weakened my ankle. The doctor basically told me with out surgery the ankle wont feel the same again and surgery could possibly make it worse.I had asked the ref before that had happened, to pay attention to this person because they kept trying to slam me into the walls or swiping my feet. The person even kicked a teammate so hard in the legs that it forced them to the ground hard. Their excuse to the ref was I thought he was this guy (me). Ref automatically says oh ok i understand, your fine then. This guy was 3x larger then myself. Basically a Chimpanzee vs a Rhino.Another really big issue is that if anything dangerous happens on the field, they will delete the videos and pretend like it never happened. Theyre punishments are usually telling people that they cant come back for a season or 2.Moral of this review, make sure the Refs like you otherwise this place will get dangerous real quick. And I certainly dont find it worth the price if your getting injured every other game, because someone is mad in a Rec league.

My experience here has been mixed. They have a nice seating area for spectators and families to watch from. And the soccer field is nice. The biggest problem is that I would caution people to beware of signing up as a free agent to join a house team. Youll have to pay ahead of time without having much control or info about what kind of team youll be assigned to. For me this meant that I was put on a house team with a good 13-14 players, even though I had to pay a fee that is equivalent to what your share would be for a 10 person team. Long story short, Im afraid that they tend to over-fill their house teams, thus making them more money, but leaving the players on these teams with a lack of playing time and a feeling of being ripped off a little.

The bar is nice for after games. The mens leagues can be fun but their coed leagues are garbage due to the terrible rules. The rules they set as to keep equality between genders are actually very unfair. Only girls can take free kicks making the game much slower. Maybe having a tradeoff system would be better. If a girl scores the goal is worth 2 points. WHY!? Thats incredibly sexist and gives quite a large advantage to the team with the most experienced female players. Female players can be just as good and are often better than many male players (especially at kick city), why do they get such a large (and ridiculous) handicap? Customer service ranges from bad to sub-par. Prices arent great and i definateley get the impression that they are more interested in taking your money than giving a good experience. GO TO INTERNATIONAL FITNESS WEST EUGENE!!!! ive played there once and had a great experience. worth not having a bar. Friendly, fun, AND FAIR! If i didnt love soccer so much i would have givin this place on less star, but it gains one by default for housing the sport i love. I REFUSE to play coed here EVER again! and have difficulty wanting to play in mens leagues, although they are slightly better.
