Symphony Hall is an iconic venue in downtown Springfield. My wife and I went there for the first time as of June 2019 to see Air Supply. Its definitely a building from a bygone era, but its just right for shows like this!! There is parking near by in 2 large lots located under route 91 and within walking distance from MGM Casino parking garage. There are also more parking areas not far. No matter where your seat is, you can see the stage. There is an elevator to the upper floors. There are 2 rest rooms on the first floor. Refreshments are sold such as beer, wine, soda, and water. Munchies and snack foods like candy chips and such. For an older venue it is very well maintained. Its close to restaurants, MGM Springfield Casino, and shops. I would definitely see another show here!!!

I went on Dec.21st to see the Nutcracker. I have never been to this place. It was beautiful! Great comfortable chairs. The view was excellent and the performance exceptional! They have it set up in lobby a place to get a snack, soda and also served beer and wine. This was the same up at the balcony lobby as well. I had a lovely evening and will definitely be back!

My wife and I saw a comedy act there and it was really good. The seats were comfortable enough and it was easy enough to find this location. The beverage prices seemed a bit high, but still cheaper than other venues weve been at recently. Not sure if there was truly an audio issue with the last act or if it was actually part of his routine. The other comedians didnt seem to have an issue. Weve been to this venue a few times and so far no complaints with hearing or seeing any of the acts.

This building and architecture was stunning! The history that is here, is a must see! Not to mention the acoustics are like none other...we got to hear Arron Lewis, no Mic, just guitar sing and it sounded amazing. Definitely would come back to see more shows here

Went to Symphony Hall for our grand daughters performance in the Nutcracker. The building is beautiful but unfortunately we had front row seats which proved to be below the stage. Disappointing. We were lucky though as those seated to the left of us had a large black screen obstructing their view. We enjoyed the ballet but would hope others were aware of layout before purchasing tickets for performances in this historic venue.

Holiday show was good. The music and chorus was very enjoyable. This was an event that can maintain the interest and attention of children as well. I only gave it 4 stars and not 5, because the stairs to the 2nd balcony was brutal. The view was decent, but the stairs is killer.

Springfield Symphony Hall is a fantastic small venue in downtown Springfield with ample parking in nearby lots. The sound stage of the venue sounds great from symphonies to blues rock concerts.

Never been there before this, great venue for Bob Dylan. Wonderful acoustics and neat old building. Only downside was the dated seats that had no leg room, as bad as an airplane with my knees hitting the seat in front of me.

Because of the metal detectors near the doors, people had to line up and wait outside, which is unpleasant on a cold or rainy night. Bathrooms ran out of paper towels before the show even started. But seats had good view of the stage.

The symphony Hall is quite large and much fancier than it looks on the outside. There is a snack bar in the lobby and plenty of red velvet seating. There is a wrap around balcony and seating that incline downward toward a large stage. Overall experiences here have been great. Staff was friendly However there could be better organization in getting people in and out, and where the lines for the snack bar start.

The orchestra especially the grace and personality as an artist of the solo pianist was impeccable. My boyfriend and I were given a grand tier seat and I cannot get over how romantic the environment of everything was for both of us. I would definitely recommend this for any lucky man looking to take his women out if she loves classical music!

We sat in the balcony, I am handicapped, use a walker and had to leave it at upper level against wall and it holds my vital articles in it. Seats are very tightly arranged, dont plan on getting in or out of them during Show, you will throw the entire section into disarray! I needed help with walking and standing to allow late arrivals to their seats. Nerve wracking for a handicapped individual and dont plan on doing this again, Ill stay home instead!

Just finished watching a graduation. Concession stand kinda pricey but convient, and for big events find parking early as prices on private lots go up after events begin. But every seat in the house gives good view of the stage. But for graduation make sure to have a good telephoto lense especially for the far seats and the mezzanine.

Ive been to dozens of concerts over the last five decades. SSH has consistently the best sound, the best lighting. A beautiful building inside and out. The seating is very comfortable, the staff is very nice. Parking is convenient (close-by, often free for cnocert goers, and staffed by very friendly professionals). SSHs acoustics are remarkable. All factors considered, this is the best space in New England to attend a concert.
