My girlfriends and I are treating ourselves to a museum weekend here in Springfield MA. While this museum was beautiful, I was very disappointed that there we no OKeefe paintings as stated on the outside menu. However there were some pretty exhibits and the entire quad of museums can be done in a day. These are two of my favorite pieces. The window is a Tiffany stained glass using a ripple glass technique which gives the image a three dimensional appearance. The roses were just beautiful in their realism.

Loved the van Gogh exhibit. Security guard was well informed and helpful. He knew his art and how to enrich my experience with printed material and comments.

Awesome museum with plenty of artifacts and beautiful craftsmanship pieces! Would highly recommended.

I did not expect to see such amazing Renaissance art in the heart of Springfield. Its my own bias, bit I just never associated the place with that. I was very wrong and Im glad that I was.They also had a huge Van Gogh exhibit and I learned a ton about how heavily he was influenced by Japonisme, the influx of Japanese goods and artistic influences in Europe at the time.Highly recommended!

Not as big as I thought. Lots of closed space. Working g on new exhibitions. Would have been nice to know that before buying tickets.

The City of Springfield has a gem! Go visit this Fine Arts Museum...its beautiful.
