Mrs.Heather has been my music teacher for over 5 years, and I absolutely love her and her music business. She is a great instructor, who guides you through each lesson/tutorial when learning new things, and cares about you tremendously. She loves seeing her students succeed both in their music career, and in their personal life. Mrs.Heather goes above and beyond for each student and their family any time you need to cancel or reschedule your lesson. Ive learned so many things from music lessons, and would highly recommend taking voice or piano at the Conservatory of the Ozarks.

I have been taking piano lessons from Miss Heather at the Conservatory of the Ozarks for a few months now. Really, the whole time I have lived in Springfield. I am no stranger to piano lessons and these are top tier. I hadnt played in a few years, but she helped place me at the right level to start. We moved as quickly or as slowly as I learned my songs without forgetting the theory and principles behind them. She has been so accommodating with my schedule and with virtual lessons during the Springfield lockdown and after when I was out of town. I have taken a group lesson there in art and really enjoyed being able to try a new skill! I cannot recommend her and the Conservatory enough.

Our daughter has been going here for a few years, since she was an infant. She will turn 4 this summer. Im very impressed with the methods Heather uses and how much it individually helps our daughter. Heather has multiple degrees in the subject, and it shows through her students. Our daughter started talking at 6 months and I fully attribute that to her music lessons. I know, it seems unreal, I was in disbelief when it happened, but we have it on video. I first-hand got to see how music helps develop a child to be privileged cognitively before they can even speak. At first I did it for the social aspect, but it has helped her grow tremendously. I am so grateful our daughter enjoys seeing Heather so much!! She now goes to class 3 days a week and one of those is for a private piano lesson. And I can see her starting to read at 3 yrs old. I have not taught her this. (Kinda of feel guilty about not teaching her how to read, but she is getting it from someone at least). If you choose to put your child in music, it will be extremely beneficial for them to come here before trying any other place.

Let me just say that both out boys enjoyed their time with Mr. Josh at the conservatory for several years. We couldnt have been happier with our boys choosing to go there and learn from some of the best in the area. Always a warm friendly smile Every time we walked in the door. They were always easy to reschedule or schedule around the various activities our boys had going on. We thank everyone there for loving our boys. Just like family!!

The Conservatory of the Ozarks is a wonderful place to take music lessons! My daughter has been a voice student with Heather for over 4 years. Heather always goes above an beyond to make sure her students get the most out of their lessons. She cares for her students and encourages them grow by offering monthly performances to help build confidence a chance to show how much you’ve learned. 5 stars!!! Highly recommended!

I have been involved with the conservatory for a few years now. I think they provide the best private music lessons in the area. The free monthly recitals are also a great chance for the students to show off what they have been learning to the world. The fact that all of the teachers here have degrees (or are currently getting them) in music is really comforting to me. It means that Im not going to be learning bad technique from someone who taught themselves at home.I feel like this gives the Conservatory an air of prestige which is missing from the other music lesson businesses in town.

My daughter has been going here for over 3 years now and has done several different things and all experiences have been wonderful. I especially like that most of the monthly recitals are at nursing homes or assisted living facilities, the residents at those places love it since they dont get out very often. Its awesome to have someone think of others as well as her students. Keep up the awesome work!

We’ve used Conservatory of the Ozarks since my daughter was 4; she is now 10. My son is now 5, almost 6, and has been going since he turned 4. I can’t say enough to prove how wonderful it has been to see my daughter, and now son, grow in their love and ability in making music. Not only are the instructors patient and kind, they are excellent when working with and teaching children (and adults, too!). There are a variety of options (we have a violinist and pianist), and there are monthly recitals so they can perform their art in front of people. They’re flexible with schedules, they’re exceptionally reasonable in price, and they’re simply wonderful. Highly recommend.

I am the current business director intern here at the Conservatory of the Ozarks and its such a fun atmosphere to work in. My husband Andy and I both take lessons at the Conservatory of the Ozarks. When we retired several years ago, we wanted to enrich our lives through experiences where we could expand and improve upon our talents, and we have found that through the awesome instructors at the Conservatory.Andy has taken voice lessons from Miss Heather, owner of the Conservatory of the Ozarks, for 6+ years. He has learned a lot about vocal technique and performance for audiences from Heather. Miss Heather is an excellent and talented instructor and has introduced Andy to many genres of music.Andy has taken lessons in music composition from Ben Bitter at the Conservatory for 3 years. Ben has helped Andy write music for songs he has written and they have just made an album. Ben is very talented and Andy enjoys working with him on music projects.Andy just recently started piano lessons with Josh Lee at the Conservatory, and with Joshs instruction is quickly advancing and playing more difficult piano pieces. Josh is also a talented violinist.I just recently started Art lessons with Joanne Moore, a new instructor at the Conservatory. I enjoy my lessons with Joanne and she has taught me several new techniques that will enhance my hobby of drawing and painting. Joanne is very knowledgeable and talented in art.We highly recommend the Conservatory of the Ozarks to anyone, any age, wanting to learn music, art, and drama. It is the place to go for some of the best instructors in the Springfield area!

I love the Conservatory so much! The teachers are amazing and the students are great too! I also love the cool recital themes and how willing to work around your schedule they are. If youre looking for a great music instructor to better your music ability, the Conservatory is the place to go! Want something really fun to get involved in? Take lessons! They have everything from voice to harp lessons! There are always recital and things to get involved in going on! Its just fantastic overall! Im 18 years old and my old teacher moved about six years ago. If it hadnt been for Miss. Heather taking me in as a student, I probably would have quit my long time love for piano. They have great ways of getting you involved and making things fun! If you cant tell, I love the Conservatory!

Our daughter has been attending music classes sense before she was born! We believe that the Conservatorys music program has been beneficial to her developement in many ways. We have found that music is a great way for her to learn and remember new concepts, calm herself emotionally, and improve her vocabulary and cordination. The group class allows her to make new friends her age and perform with others. Her love for music continues to grow! She now enjoys private lessons with Miss Heather. We believe in the Conservatory so much that we have enrolled our infant son in the program as well!

All 4 of our girls take lessons with the staff here at Conservatory of the Ozarks. It was great to have them audition with their teachers so they could get to know each other. Teachers also got to know their personalities and abilities. My 8 y.o. takes guitar lessons with Mr. Ben and she loves to jam out with him. My 10 y.o. takes harp lessons with Mr. Jeremy and she just loves to play all the time because hes made it easy to learn and enjoyable as well. My 12 y.o. takes voice with Ms. Doris and I cant stop her from singing. She also takes violin lessons with Josh and has enjoyed that as well. My 14 y.o. takes voice with Ms. Heather and Ive seen such growth in her ability to really carry her voice. She also takes piano with Mr. Jeremy whom she really enjoys as well. Our experience with Conservatory of the Ozarks has been stellar and its only been a couple of months. Its good to hear music in our home all the time!

I like it so much I wish to take classes there myself along with my two teens. They have only taken classes for a short amount of time.My son takes art classes with Michelle and here is the only place where he is truly learning! In just a few classes she has explained and answered questions he had had since before coming here, and we had been around. My daughter, who is very quiet and shy takes piano classes with Heather.Well, besides being a very patient and amazing teacher, she convinced my daughter to do her first piano recital and the big surprise is that she also sang!!! My point: these ladies know how to treat their students, make them feel comfortable and make them blossom!

This is by far, the best music school in the Ozarks area! I highly recommend this school for students of all ages! I am a mom of two children, ages 4 and 6 years old. My eldest daughter started her piano lessons at this school when she was 4 1/2 years old. She is now 6 and doing incredibly well playing the piano, for her age! Her instructor, Ms. Heather Leverich is an excellent teacher! Her techniques especially with very young kids are so effective that they get to learn so fast. She gets the parents involved as well during the childs lessons, which is very helpful in the learning process so the parent/s can continue teaching them at home. My youngest daughter, now age 4, started taking piano lessons with Ms. Heather at age 3. At first, I wasnt so sure how she will progress because she started at such a young age, but she is learning music and appreciating it very well. She is taking The Little Mozarts program when she started up to this time. It was such a fulfillment to watch her play the piano on her own at home and during her very first recital two weeks ago! Moreover, this music school organizes a variety of events during the year wherein their students can participate and practice what they had learned during their lessons. It is like giving them something to work for so they can get better with their skills. It really helps build self-confidence and self-discipline as well. I am very thankful I found this wonderful school and a very good teacher who my kids absolutely love! Definitely 5 stars and beyond! I highly recommend this school and Ms. Heather Leverich as an instructor.
