Weve been playing softball with The Farm League for three seasons. Its very organized, parent run, and my daughter loves it!The field itself is versatile (softball, baseball, soccer) and is always kept in great shape.
Was good to get back to youth sports days. A nice area.
Nice, but not as expected based on the website.
Great fields. Good parking. Allows outside food and drink. Free parking.
Unless you are established or know someone in the league your child will be placed in a team with all the newcomers. Most of these flag football teams are established and have been playing together for years so good luck.
Friendly referees, Fields in excellent condition especially for Houston in the middle of the summer
Love the place and is good for generations to come
Beautiful facility. Clean restrooms
The best baseball facilities Ive ever seen.
This was our first year our son played baseball and play for this league. Very disappointed in how things were conducted, and the way things were handled. A team we played in particular made the games stressful not only for coaches but the kids as well. I will not take part in a league that allows coaches/parents to yell angrily at other teams. Very disappointing. This was supposed to be something fun, learning experience this is very unfortunate.Response to owner:Yes here are things handled when you have a negative opinion(Also please note the kid wasn’t allowed to play in play offs because another team said he was older) one I would like to know how the other knew his birthday? Also the parents addressed their sons age when the league started noticing their kid was a little older than others and the league said it was fine to stay on the team. He played all season until the last team we played complained. Causing the league to email the parents saying he was unable to play in playoffs. Awful. It wasn’t until the league got enough complaints that they changed their mind. Hence my review BEfore the decision was changed. Not letting a kid play in playoffs kicking him off that shouldn’t even have been a decision . Then the owner can’t take any accountability.. Just handled unprofessionally.Note I have explained to them I wasn’t a parent yelling I was with me 3 year old watching the whole thing. Their tone points it I was. Shameful to accuse.AND No I wrote those reviews BEFORE ... when you told a kid he couldn’t play in playoffs .... another accusation
My daughter was in this league for flag football and she said that her team mates were very rude and her coaches made fun of her DO NOT PUT YOUR CHILD IN THE FARM LEAGUE
So we decided to register with them instead of our local league and I am not impressed. After registering we canceled because they did not give us all the information necessary. This would be my sons first year so we did not know the right questions to ask apparently. All they do is get you in touch with the other parents and set up the games the rest is up to you. Maybe this is the norm but we would have liked to have been informed before making our decision. Now that we have cancelled the same week we registered their policy is to keep 50% and also charge a $25 processing fee. Please consider all your options before registering with them.In response to the owner:We did read everything and we are not disputing the refund amount. Your customer service skills seem to be lacking because of your response to my post. Unfortunately we did not see anything that mentions it is a parent coached league and we would be responsible for contacting other parents to arrange practice times and locations. I put my review for people that are interested in your league that might not be familiar with the process. Thanks so much for your response.
Farm League Park is a great partner of ours. Give them a shot.
Before you sign your child up for basketball with this league and pay over $250 you should know they have SUPER TEAMS. SO IF ITS YOUR CHILD FIRST TIME PLAYING WITH THIS LEAGUE YOU MAY END UP ON THE TEAM WITH KIDS THAT HAVE NO EXPERIENCE!!!.
Always clean, friendly and safe
Great clean facilities!
Great fields.
Not our favorite league we have played in there are better
Dont do it. Horrible customer service, no matter what the situation is you cant get a refund. This allows for the owner to do whatever he wants and doesnt care about any issues that may arise.
We decided to try this league. When trying something different from I-9. We should have stayed with I -9. They don’t properly train their umpires to make correct calls. We have to find places to practice on your own. Will never go back!
Awesome place now that they put in the turf
So after reading the reviews and speaking to few parents we decided not go with them.My child school is always promoting them but the reviews are pretty clear.Hope they will turn this place around.
Pricey concessions. They need to check their inventory because both out drinks and chips were expired.
Our team played at The Farm League many seasons. Overall the experience is good. The complaints I have is the cover over the stands, they don’t block the sun appropriately, and when it rains forget about it. If it even as much as drizzled, the games were canceled, which caused a big issue one season we just couldn’t catch a break and they only had to give us one makeup game. It’s like they don’t want to mess up the fields in the rain?!? I’m not sure what the reasoning is for canceling games in the rain. At SKSA you play in the rain unless it’s lightning. The parking is an issue too. The concessions are nice, the bathrooms are usually clean. Definitely a nice park!
Great organization! The PLAYERS improve in their sport, and become a part of the team. The PARENTS / FAMILIES make friends for life!
Its fun, bad food
My boys loved playing flag football at the farm league. There are only a few flag leagues that are competitive and fun while allowing the teams to participate in an NFL tournament every December.
This league is AWFUL! they don’t provide fields for practice and they don’t properly train their umpires to make correct calls. Will never go back!
Parking sucks
Nice ball park. My son played several baseball games here. Favorite part is the wooden bench in the dugout
Place is a joke. They dont age check any kid, just use the honest system. Son played baseball and there where two select teams playing, and the rest of them had kids that where older than 7, like the league is supposed to be when you sign them up. Go to Tomball or Spring/Klein Little League if you want fair competition.
Awesome park - great addition to the area. We all look forward to the future growth and development of youth sports in the Spring Klein area due to the establishment of the new Farm League Park!
No well maintained fields, no enought shady areas. Expensive consesions
Its a great Sports facility for the area! We enjoy playing youth sports under the lights on Fridays!
Completely disorganized. When I emailed the owner so he could make it right he chose the low road of arguing and being defensive instead of improving the customer experience. Steer clear.
Poorly organized, lack of communication...waste of time and money...Owner not receptive to feedback and no interest in customer service. Spend your money elsewhere
If your kid is a newbie at flag football this place isnt the place. They organize teams by experience so if u are a newbie the whole team will be. So the kids will not have a chance.
LOVE IT ! Excellent leagues and facilities
Very difficult to find parking so you most arrive early.
Good fields.
Beautifull
