If they would just get rid of the Asbel family, this Little League would be a much better environment for ALL children! This group of people are the most corrupt and unethical humans I may have ever met. Sad that it comes in the form of a Little League! They have integrated themselves to control every aspect of the league. If you stand up to them, they literally will curse you out in public and try to run you off. And I Unfortunately had to coach along side of one of them, so I saw first hand how things were ran by these people. Hopefully someday they will move on. It’s always talked about how the numbers grew from 100 to 400, but it’s NOT talked about how unfair and self centered their decisions are. It truly was pathetic to see their actions. I had always heard horror stories, well now I saw it up close and personal. And of course they will always go back to the same rhetoric of “Everyone complaining are just disgruntled parents or coaches” blah blah blah... No, just a Huge Percentage of people DO NOT LIKE YOU! Because they aren’t in your circle who you stack the team for or something of that nature! You are control freaks. Learn the game of baseball and then come back and be spectators! You don’t deserve to be making decisions that affect children. Period! Not to mention the President will chain smoke in front of 7-8 year old kids every day, which by the way the entire facility is a SMOKE FREE ZONE!!!! Get this family out, and the league may have a shot!

I cant believe some of the things that I have read on here from people. Without a doubt outlandish statements. I have been dealing with this park for several years. This is the only park that I have dealt with that has a no kid left behind type policy for families who may not be able to afford for their children to play. I literally know of cases where the coaches/board members have paid out of their own pockets. Racist. Get out of town. You cant even begin to back that statement up. The hours and dedication that the board members put into this park are unreal even above and beyond baseball and softball to things that help the community and people in the community who may need help. Anyone who wants to call this park and their volunteers unethical should do some research. Love this place and cant wait to return.

Amazing group and little league! So proud to belong to SHLL. The league has went from 100 kids to 400 kids in three years. The board, volunteers, and concession is fantastic. Every league has its issues but all in all we will be here for years to come. They are by far the most affordable league around. Come and join the fun at SHLL.The other reviews I have read on here are from angry parents whose behavior was not tolerated at the field. The league is family orientated and does not allow inappropriate behavior to be on display. Some parents or coaches should remember its about the kids and not about themselves. Shameful to put this league down when the non-profit has done so much for the community.

This place is extremely unorganized. They will tell you to your face that if you dont like what they do they dont need your kid to play. They were extremely racist. They are rude and disrespectful to the kids and parents. I saw with my own eyes them screaming at a child in the dugout when asked if it was their child they said no I am on the board I can yell at whoevers kid I choose to.

Out of all my experiences with different organizations in many states this league is by far the worst. This group of parents and staff are not only unprofessional but flat out disrespectful. If you arent in thier inner circle you are treated like an outcast. Lisa was very condescending, petty, and very judgmental. Shane, the president, is barley involved. Hes ill mannered inconsistent and overly unapproachable. These people are close minded and unethical. On many occasions you could actually smell the alcohol on them and that is not only unexpectable but very inappropriate especially around children. They arent teaching the kids about baseball, theyre having a popularity contest. Theyare bigots, there is no other way to say it. This was supposed to be about the kids and they arent living up to that expectation in the slightest. So save yourself the money and the headache, take your kids somewhere else.Signed, a very disappointed parent

Extremely disrespect group of board members. If you disagree with how things are ran and voice your opinion expect to have a problen with them. The teams are being treated differently and it is clear. Other coachs can kids pathetic and talking about drinking on the field. Please if you can go to another league in your area please do. Tonights scene from these professionals was pitiful. Tara has to be the rudest out of everyone of them.Dont spend your money at the concessions, even for your kids. You can not tell me they have a moral fiber in their body to say this about children.
