The selection of games from new to old is expansive. I got some good old N64 games from them and their resin countertop with games and consoles in it is always cool to look at

A slightly bigger selection than the other game world, and a friendly staff. I over heard a guy say this was a place he took out of town guests to.Found a couple games I was looking for, and enjoyed seeing the selection. They have everything from old school Atari to modern consoles like the XBox One.A fine place to seek out items and feel a bit geeky.

This place is amazing. If youre looking for something nostalgic from your childhood LOOK NO FURTHER! This is the place. They also have lots of rare gems but you gotta just keep your eyes opened. All of the staff is very friendly and helpful, and the store itself is super cool and unique with great prices. Chad helped me when I traded in my PS4 and offered double what GameStop had quoted me, and he was also very quick to answer any questions I had. All around it was a great experience and I will definitely will be returning!

I love the old games!This is the place to go if you need peices and parts, to old games like Atari, N64, Magic, Bord games, manga, or any of the newer things too.They have it all.

When i entered no one was to be seen. after about 10 min of looking around a girl comes out from the back on the phone. i stood right in front of her while she spoke to what seemed to be the gm. after her phone call she walked straight back to what she was doing not even saying hello to me.

Ive had good experiences at local game stores but Game World sets a high bar; The store was well-stocked, clean and inviting. The staff were very friendly and clearly passionate about what they did( Chris was wonderful to talk to).They will definitely receive my business over other LGSs from now on.

They fixed my Xbox One X. Very patient and helpful. I cant remember the young womans name that helped me (Britney?) I drove all the way from Colville, and they fixed it in one day! Very highly recommended, but of course call and make and appointment, as some things could take days (or weeks) to fix

This place is a total scam. They have signs all over the place saying that because of the store closure, the price that is marked may not be the actual price of the game. Let me translate that for you....the price of the game you want to buy is twice the price that they have marked it at. All the employee did was go on Ebay and see what the game was selling for, then tried to charge me the same price instead of what they had the game priced at. Neither of these stores will ever get my business again. Trade A Game is so much better and the owner is honest. The price he has labeled on the game is what he sells it for. STAY AWAY FROM GAME WORLD!!! You would think that because the store was closed for a while, the people at Game World would have gone in and took that time to adjust their prices. Well they didnt and instead double the price when you get to the register.

Great Customer Service. They helped me over the phone set up a Xbox One Disney Infinity 3.0 set for my daughter. They got all the pieces together and sent them over from their valley store. Very well priced too. This was my first time using them and will definitely use them again for all my gaming needs.

I have an Xbox one s, it started making a noise when I inserted discs, however, it still worked. I decided to go get it fixed since I didnt want a bigger issue to happen. 2 weeks later I received a call that it was fixed and ready and that it was at the valley store, I said I would wait till the next day as he informed me it would be delivered to the north store in the morning. I go to pick it up and it is not there. Took about 10 min to find it and it was at the valley store still. Ok... drove out to the valley store and brought it home. They told me they had ran it for 28 hours to verify it works. Seemed alot figuring it was only the disc drive. Bring it home plug it in and the only thing that would show up is an E100 error and it would not work. So I take it back, they tell me it will be fixed for free. While filling out paperwork, I notice a dent on one of the corners, i tell the employee and explained it looked like someone has dropped it. He apologized and said they would replace the case for free as well. Ok... I then wait 2 more weeks and call, they tell me its still being worked on. I call again 4 more days later and the employee tells me they have it but they are unable to fix my Xbox. He doesnt even offer anything to rectify the situation. I was very upset and confused. I simply brought it in for a disc drive issue and now it wont even turn on.... the manager tells me they might be able to issue a partial refund. NO WAY! So he calls the owner and calls me back and says their offer is to apply what I paid them for the repair to a refurbished unit from them and they would like to keep my unit. So I would have to pay them $174 for the replacement. The manager I spoke to (Wade) was trying to explain how the tech who worked on it and the business was losing money because of the discount the are offering me. So we settled with me paying them an additional $110 on top of the original repair, plus they keep my unit. I go to pick it up and they only had a 500g instead of the 1tb mine was. Waited 30 min so he could switch my hard drive into the other one. Then come to find out,, i read the notes on my xbox, the tech was done with my xbox on August 3rd, it is now the 18th, so when I called earlier it had been put aside this whole time.. All around horrible customer service and I just feel like I got ripped off. Needless to say, Ill never give them my business again.

Better selection of retro games.

My eleven year old brother has bought games from your store over three times and NONE have worked. Im not asking for a refund or somebodys head on a pike but you guys need to step up and be more thorough. If you guys keep that stuff up, youll eventually get sued.

My fiance and I went to buy a ds xl limited edition mario bros hand held console. Price on it was 59.99 and we get up to the counter it suddenly becomes 110? How do you miss mark something that is supposedly double the price? Used and out of a box on Ebay is 59.99 about. This is a rip off and not the first time something has been miss marked. I will not come here again.

The owner of this establishment is a fool how hard is it to have yourself and your employees wear masks? Isn’t even that much of an inconvenience considering you’re already inconveniencing your customers with your ridiculously long lines and poor customer service.

Bought a controller from here and it had a note on it that a joystick was loose, not defective. And was also told I could return it within 24hrs for a refund. I take it back 30 mins later and am told it can only be in store credit and that because it was a used controller they may not be able to take it back at all. He spoke to his manager and said he could do in store credit. I was not told this at time of purchase and now have 150$ in store credit at a store that is super unprofessional on explaining return policy on their products. I also dont understand how they can sell a defective item, and not inform the customer that it is defective, then not offer a cash return. It is on the receipt that they do not do returns on used items but the salesman told me I could return it within 24hrs. I only intend on going here to get repairs to spend the rest of my in store credit.

It was my first time here. I was selling a few of my old games. Everyone was super kind and answered any questions I had. They also have a ton of good games, along with anime/manga merch.

Game World sucks at answering their phones and calling back. I called Trade a Game on Sprague and they were helpful and had what I needed. I recommend Trade a Game.

I highly recommend NOT to go here. Go to gamestop or trade a game. I bought a game used, got home and it would not install. Checked the disc it had a few scratches. Went in for a refund asked for credit. The guy behind the counter had a rude attitude and wanted to buff it out instead. Now my playstation 4 (new) is making a horrible sound everytime the game is playing. The scratches are still there. Never again will I shop there. -5/10.

Not very pleased with my overall experience of this place. Traded some of my NEW games for store credit to get my son a blu-ray for his birthday which sat in its case until he opened it. When we got home it didnt even work!! Thento top it off since its past a certain time frame I have to pay $5 to buff the disc that didnt work from the time I grabbed it off the shelf. I literally could have bought the exact same thing on Amazon BRAND NEW which probably would have worked and only paid $5 more for it than a buffing of a disc that IS NOT GUARANTEED TO FIX IT. YET when I asked if it STILL doesnt work beyond this all Im told is we can buff it as many times as you like within 5 days but at some point youre buffing into the data of the disc which us obviously common sense....I also thought giving me in store credit or a REFUND would also be common sense but hey...guess we dont really care about the satisfaction of our customers since we cant even make sure things work in the first place

Wish i could give 0 stars waited in line for over 30 minutes and there was only one person in front of me in line. rude manager low balls me for my trade in so i go down the road a little ways to gamestop of all places and they give me 50% more cash haha will never shop here again if i can help it.

Game World is the only place I go for anything game related. They do repairs(so they have any little part usually in stock you might need) they buy used systems or just parts old or new. I’ve never felt ripped off when I brought in a old system I was done with which was a first for me. F.Y.I. U get twice as much if u go for in store credit. Staff is knowledgeable friendly and helpful. U will need to wait a bit when u r bring in old game systems so they can check it out but best place I’ve been in town by far.

Had an issue with an XBOX 360. Got it straightened out for a good price. Nice that there are more local game stores now.

Large selection of games and lots of stuff to to browse but that’s all I would do, browse. The manager is very rude to be nice. This place is a complete rip off. They sell their stuff high and buy used for pennies on the dollar. We took in like two dozen PC games several only a few years old. They offered $3 for the lot. Even considering lowball used prices they were easily worth 10x what they offered. I guarantee if I sold them to the manager, who didn’t even price check them, would have marked them up significantly more than the lowball pricing.

What happened!! No costumer service Now ! Employees are rude wont answer any basic questions my son just wanted a Skylander and he still doesnt have it ! Employe just didnt want to help .

My husband and I have been in here 3 times the last couple of weeks... We have had such amazing experiences with one particular staff member (both were awesome though!) that we had to leave a review...I unfortunately do not remember his name but the staff member I’m referring to has a beard and glasses and will likely remember me as “Jessica with the wireless GameCube controller” He seriously spent 20 Minutes helping make sure that the items we were buying were functional before we went home. Never acted irritated or annoyed with anything we threw his way. My husband and I left sooooo impressed! We will always support this location because of the incredible customer service!! Thank you!

The women went in and got me two games(forza 6 & mortal combat x) and a controller for a Christmas present. Finally got forza to download after all day cleaning & buffing it myself.tried the same with mortal combat, no luck.so i grabbed the women and went in. Would not exchange it for another one when they had 6 copies on the shelf. Or even try to buff it. Never spending a dime here. So sad. Back to trade a game where they actually care abour customers! Good one game world.(garbage)

Huge selection of retro games, whenever were in town this is one of our stops to see if theyve got a retro game Im looking for. The workers are friendly and will do what they can to see if they can find what youre looking for. Im usually able to find at least one or two titles Im looking for. Theres also a good selection of stickers and other mercy which are great for little gift ideas. I recommend checking this place out!

I think this a very cool store and I love going to it. But the big downfall is the prices for retro games specifically are not good. They are way too high I think they should use video game price charts to guide there prices, then it would be more fair.

Ive been here more times than I can count and while they have great selection and an easy selling system, I cant stand how annoyed some of this guys seem to have to interact with people. Multiple employees you can tell are in this because they need a job and they know video games, but they lack friendly communication or customer service skills. Everytime Im here I feel like a burden or they have better things to do. Even the manager Wade usually seems generally annoyed to have to be doing anything for you.

It had a nice selection of games and other merchandise. They even havereally old games like for the Commodore VIC 20, Colecovision, Intelevision, Odyssey 2, and Atari. I was a bit put off by the fact that not all of the games were priced. There were a few things that interested me, but not without pricing. The explanation they gave my friend was that game values change, Overall a nice well organized place with a nice selection of games.

Friendly staff and they accept a wider range of gaming related objects for trade in than Gamestop.

I went in there for some break away cables for a Xbox. They were between $3.99 and $4.99 two weeks ago. Now they are $9.99. He was quick to drop it to $7.99. There explanation is that the market went up. Not true I double checked and they are the same as they were then. No one price gouges me. Picking some up from another place tomorrow for $2.99 each. They must have had a low sales month and are trying to make up the difference. I had my account deleted. Never going back there again.

After my N64 collection got stolen I came here to rebuild it, theyre very knowledgeable and helpful and they carry quite a library on the shelf. Might not see smash bros on the shelf but chances are they have it tucked away out of sight to prevent theft while NBA 2000 sits on display.If you need a gameshark, AC adapter, new OEM controller, new 3rd party controller, memory pak, rumble pak, etc. they got it. Even have a few consoles every now and again.For N64 related stuff Id go here first. Their library extends to Sony, Sega, Xbox original all the way up to the Switch, PS4 pro, and Xbox 1x. If they dont have it theyll order it and put you on a wait list.

I would be giving a 0 star review if i could. Everything at this place is incredibly overpriced and poor quality. The service is not awesome, their staff is rude, the store smells like dirty gym socks, and the returns policy is only in store credit- which in my opinion is unfair for a retailer whose main customer age group is small children. My 10 year old son spent multiple months worth of allowance ($50) here on a pair of used headphones that were valued at 15 dollars new at Best Buy (he had also tried to trade some of his rare pokemon but they greatly disvalued his offer the sake of making a profit).This isnt even the only time we were ripped off there- we gave them a second chance and we were not impressed.

After having some issues, the owner sat down with me and helped me to understand my issue better. I appreciate the concern for the customers that the management has shown greatly.

Bought a used game system and the very next day l went to return it and they said no. The dude who sold it to me wasnt a salesperson and didnt explain their return policy. The manager asked if I read the receipt. How could I have read a receipt before I even got it? Will never shop there again. Dont need the hassle or the drama.
